  1. Hi, I'm new to the thread and new to a.c.e! I kind of had a hard time finding the thread. I had to google their name with onehallyu because I couldn't find this in the forum searches at all O_o Anyway, I recently saw 'Cactus'. I really liked what I saw. I saw the mv in my recommended vids, thinking the title was kind of unusual/interesting and decided to check them out. I've also been watching their covers. I think a.c.e is a very talented group, and I can't wait to see/hear more from them. At the moment, I'm backtracking on the thread here as well as seeing more of their covers and other videos. I don't have a bias or anything yet I have memorized everyone's names though lol.
  2. Has anyone's favorite songs changed? I thought I wouldn't like 'Living Good' very much when I heard the preview, but after listening to it I think it's one of my favorites of kard's now.
  3. This is so cute . I noticed some things before how they mirrored each other, but there's a lot of stuff I've missed. It kind of explains a lot on how they were chosen as a duo. As in, they mesh really well together. Also, congrats to them on the 50K+ sales in such a short amount of time~
  4. I enjoyed watching the mv so much. I thought it was really wonderfully made. The the song had a cool, laid-back mellowness to it. However, the lyrics had a sort of sadness/or uneasiness relating to growing into adulthood that I relate to a lot. Making decisions and wondering if I made the right ones. Wanting to see if I could go back and see what what happen if I chose the opposing decision. I love the way that the lyrics were written in that sense. I was kind of surprised to see the video not in b&w, but I did enjoy the color scheme for the mv overall. I felt kind of sad when seeing Jinyoung and Jb traveling the entire way together, and then towards the end splitting off in separate directions. The final ending of the video cheered me up though. It was very sweet. I held off on watching the making of the mv because I wanted to watch the mv first, so I'll watch that next.
  5. Double post, sorry about that.
  6. lol @J.seph's poses in the pictures. Especially the last one
  7. Currently listening to the album spoiler on loop. It sounds so wonderful Every song sounds perfect seriously. Such a great mixture of genres produced in the best way. Mark described it perfectly. I do think 'Tomorrow, Today', 'Coming Home', 'Icarus', 'Don't wanna Say' and their solo songs will be my absolute favorites from the album once I hear the rest.
  8. Laura Bow 2: The Dagger of Amon Ra. I'm surprised I've never heard of it over the years. I found out about it the other day browsing the abandonware tag on tumblr and someone mentioned it was a really good game they enjoyed during their childhood. I love how detailed and immersive it is even though I just started playing it(and it came out in '92). It seems really ahead of its time. I think if it had been released in this decade, it would've done extremely well. I think it did pretty well almost 25 years ago too though, but I'm not certain.
  9. Sounds really good so far. Can't wait to hear the rest~ I was also wondering if the whole mv would be in b&w. I wouldn't mind personally. However, it would be interesting if part of the mv was, then at some point the colors would mix in before the mv ended perhaps.
  10. I can't tell if this is a new single or just a commercial(maybe both?) but either way I really like it. I was hoping that they'd do a song or something else together since that fashion shoot a few months ago. It's always nice to find my favorite singers working together
  11. whoa that's amazing They just keep soaring higher and higher~
  12. I really love how the teaser photoshoots are designed. Everything looks so dreamlike and beautiful. But also, the concept images kind of feel as if its shots from the beginning of a movie at the same time, which I think is pretty cool.
  13. I feel like I'm experiencing the exact thing now the more I comment in threads. I lurk most of the time, but lately when I've been congratulating other groups I like on their successes or trying to join discussions in other threads I get the silent treatment or something. I know its the internet, and sometimes not everyone has a response. However, it just feels off in the way you've described like I'm being side eyed. Or looked at like --> as if I shouldn't have commented in the thread because it's obvious I like other groups too.
  14. I really can't stand when people keep saying 'anyone is welcome, please join us," when their behavior afterwards dictates the opposite. As soon as the new person joins in, everyone stops and acts as if you're a weirdo or something for trying to join in. Or ignore you, choosing to continue with their cliques even if you haven't said anything out of the ordinary. Don't even bother trying to look as if you're nice when your actions say otherwise. Should've grown out that middle school behavior a long time ago.
  15. I feel the same sometimes. I do have more digital copies of things though these days but I try to back them up on different drives. I also make sure to get the physical copies somewhere down the line(if that's not the first thing I buy depending on the price) in case something happens too. I feel like that evens things out a little for me anyway. EDit: Also when I've been searching for a new laptop the last couple of years, I make sure it has a disc drive so I can listen to my old cds sometimes. I know a lot of laptops aren't really built like that anymore, so it gets hard to find one when I have to replace mine :/
  16. That's so cool~ Congrats to them I wonder there's a video of the ceremony.
  17. I've behind on the Secret Kard episodes X_x I almost forgot about them once the mv dropped. I've just been reading recent articles, watching their stages and rewatching the 'Hola Hola' mv.
  18. So far I like the direction of the lyrics. Seems really interesting. I feel like 'On&On' and 'Tomorrow, Today' will be my favorites, although it is kind of too early tell lol.
  19. I agree. It also didn't seem like much of an apology either. It's possible to be playful/funny and without going the direction Raul did. I've also read from people in another thread about this that Raul frequently does things like this to guests. So it wasn't much of a surprise to them something like this happened :/
  20. Finished backtracking, and wow so much great news. I'm happy to see that they worked with collapsedone again. I originally hoped it would happen for got7 as whole for their comeback, but its great he'll working with JJproject though. Also congrats to Jackson on his award~ And I haven't listened to Yugyeom's song as of yet but I will.
  21. All caught up with the thread and finally got around to watching 'Hola Hola' Favorite parts; -Jiwoo's rap <3, then with Jseph's coming in right after <3 -Everyone was styled really nicely. I loved how they were practically glowing with their tans too. -Everyone enjoying themselves in basically every scene. Meaning, their interactions with each other were playful, sweet and natural. -Perfect scenery/backgrounds used. Everything looked so beautiful. -Song is nicely catchy/upbeat.Perfectly composed summer song. -The callbacks to the other songs <3 It felt as if everything went by really fast though. Sort of similar to a commercial I guess, but as music video?(I know why though) that's my only semi complaint. I still enjoyed watching overall. I've been watching it over and over again as I type lol. Congrats to 2 million views for it on debut~ I'm very proud I was about to write one million, but the views went up a lot as I was watching lol. I also just noticed they were playing cards with the postcards from their album lol. That was cute. EDIT: I was expecting us to be called 'wildkards', but I'm okay with 'hidden kards/hidden'. The meaning behind it is nice.
  22. These are so soothing to listen to I usually watched/listened to his piano covers for other groups I'm also a fan of, but I just noticed he did some covers for 'Oh Nana', 'Don't Recall' and 'Rumor' too. I hope he can cover 'Hola Hola' and the other songs when they come out. 'Don't Recall' and 'Rumor' covers are in the spoiler.
  23. What made me fall for Kard initially, was their style in the "Oh Nana" mv months ago. People kept recommending to watch it. I finally did and loved what I heard. I thought it was a little different from what I usually heard within the fandoms I'm in. Aesthetically, I thought their style was mysterious yet cool. I found myself singing it randomly throughout the day lol. Then I saw/heard "Don't Recall" , and I think fell even harder. It's still my absolute favorite song of theirs. I never get tired of hearing it or watching the mv. Afterwards came their ASC visit, and I found them all to be pretty sweet, hardworking yet dorky individuals. I couldn't wait to hear, as well as see, more of what they had to offer. EDIT: Nevermind I fixed it
  24. I think 'Hola Hola' 's key point dance, although somewhat similar in style to 'Rumor', is better than it. Seems more fluid I think? I like how the choreo looks more in comparison to 'Rumor' so far. Also congrats to them on the 1 million subs on youtube~ and trending worldwide
  25. omg this sounds really great so far. I'm really excited to hear the rest~ It's so weird that he's only a state(actually a train ride) away from where I am working on this. And the JJproject new announcement caught me so off guard again. I keep thinking there's another hidden announcement or something. I'm never ready lol.
