It’s Yeonji’s turn to get some solo content :D They uploaded a singing practice video of her, love to hear her beautiful voice in a different kind of genre/type of music ! I wonder if they’ll do that for Selyn also, and if yes, do you think they’ll focus on her rapping or her dancing ?

Here we go again, another Habin solo dance practice, with ... ok, let’s say it, weird looking leggings. They really want to milk her fancam success, which is nice, but I’d rather like some more TV show appearance, or even live performances at busking events, than just milking the same video again and again. Yes ! It’s been a bit of a nightmare to stay on track with the members change recently. Basically, Minchae (rapper) left nearly a month after their comeback, and was replaced by Selyn (giant goddess). They had their performance in Simply Kpop, and Chaea (short pink hairdo) also left, and seem to be back at modeling (she recently posted pics of her wearing Lolita lingerie). So now, we have : - Yeonji (main vocal) : only original member left, queen of patience and perfect voice for OST. - Habin (main dancer) : in the group for nearly 2 years now, fancam goddess and visual heaven. - Selyn (dancer / rapper) : she’s a giant (174 cm) and she joined the group 3 days before they did their first Music show performance.

Ok, the fancam is beyond viral I guess ! Remember when I said it had 2.6M views 9 hours ago ? It’s now nearly 3M. Should we try to do something about that ? And spread the news ?

I posted it 2 weeks ago while it reached 1M views, now the views have increased at 2.6M. It’s PG most viewed fancam ever ! I agree, it looks more even. With heels, you can see Selyn & Habin are slightly up there in dancing compared to Yeonji (obviously, they are dancers and she’s main vocalist). With sneakers, the difference is less noticeable and Yeonji catches up with the two others. Aside from that, I was looking through YT for Pocket Girls videos as always (hihi), and I just saw that Habin’s fancam from early December reached 1.1M views !!! I think it’s the third time one of their videos reach that amount of views. First was Sooyoon’s fancam at their « debut showcase » during the Seoul Motor Show, and the second one was Bom‘s fancam at Migliore. Rise visual queen, rise !

Funniest thing is « though they had (...) they didn’t have what it takes to last long in the industry » ... I mean, they’ve had 3 promotions circles since Deepened, they are on the Unit right now, preparing a comeback for 2018 and Allkpop just made an article 6 days ago (literally) about Yuna falling from the stool while performing Rollin’ ... Some people need to go back to journalism school, if that’s even a thing for them x)

Allkpop proving one more time that they suck at ... pretty much a lot of things ! Why would they publish an article entitled « Kpop one hit wonders » and list Brave Girls as 6/9 with Deepened. Preach ! Those comments under their performance at Simply Kpop are all positive, praising the song's title for being original and fun, and enjoying the music + the girls of course. I just wish we could do something more to help them, cause it's capitalism's rules I guess ... more songs for us equals money for their company. I just don't want to wait another 2 years before a new song.

Yeah, experienced that too with Bbang Bbang once in a Parisian gay club. Each time I put Pocket Girls in a party or just a random night with my friends, they really enjoy it and ask to see the choreo or more infos about the girls. And they are not Kpop fans AT ALL. Listening essentially to Kpop for the past 8 years, I can’t enjoy western music like I did before ... When we talk about it with my friends (especially in comparison to Bbang Bbang), Kpop has just so much layering and production goodness that a lot of charting music here in France (we listen a lot of American pop also) seems very flat and boring, compared to the massive beats of Kpop songs. And it’s not just about EDM, even cuter / softer songs are just more ear friendly and intense, and a lot of my colleagues / friends agree actually ;) Rise Pocket Girls, rise !

I think, since they are not promoting the song anymore in terms of charts, that they could use the non-stools choreo version. It’s obviously less sexy and impressive, but since it’s also an official version of the dance ... They have a choreo version without the chairs on YT, and I think it looks as good as the original one, minus the risk of hurting their body.

IT’S OFFICIAL ! THEIR FIRST TV SHOW PERFORMANCE EVER IS UUUUUP ! It’s not perfect obviously, and you can hear the stress they were experiencing, but OMG I’m so proud ! I had an awkward smile through the whole performance, it’s like watching your child walking for the first time, haha :D I hope it’s the first of several other performances and bops like that.
