  1. I am so excited! It's gonna be Hoseok's 1st Korean collab and also his 1st feature every since pre-debut Abimal with JoKwon - really can't wait!
  2. Also I want to say that I am surprised that some are surprised why companies keep on being silent. I mean, even aside from a fact that "we don't give af" being usual YG's strategy in such cases and hybe being a PR mess as we can see from latest events (so such silent position might be their new try to deal with situations), I just don't see much harm for both idols involved from all those speculations for companies to be involved. I mean, both groups are big old and established enough to survive it. All those speculation only create a lot of buzz and give a lot of attention to V and Jennie: they are trending, their hashtags are getting numbers on sns platforms cause ppl are constantly discussing them, making edits, making theories and debunking those theories, their accounts' engagements are thriving cause all sort of curious people lurking through their pics thus some new might follow and even got curious about their music, etc. As usual any publicity is a good publicity. Jennie specifically went through few dating scandals already and yet she is still safe and sound, all those high profile bfs only give her IT girl status a rise. V's case is more complicated cause some k-fans can indeed leave him but his biggest and most important fanbases are in China and Japan and those fans usually don't really care about their idol dating life so V will still get those rich funds. There is really no much harm for them regardless if it's true or not if anything clarification of situation from companies will only make that buzz around their personas and attention to them to die down. Yeah, they get hate from some fans of opposite sides but members of both groups constantly get hate regardless so nothing new. There are also taekook shippers who are making a fuss about it but those are delulu enough to believe whatever they want to believe no matter what company will say and will be even more delulu once hybe feed them with another memories dvd full of taekook content. Idk, I really don't see anything that bad so far about whole thing.
  3. That's not true at all. Of course, it can be that people not translating every case of somebody witnessing a BTS member, but let's pretend that they translate 100% of it. For example, Hoseok went to that LV restaurant (which is a public place) and shared about it on his insta yet nobody knew before h posted himself that he went there. In fact there were a lot of celebs in that restaurant including BP member Rose yet have any fan known before pics were shared publicly that their faves went there? At least from what I've seen when news came (cause due to that ppl starting to speculate about Hoseok/Nayeon and Hoseok/Rose so people discussed it lol) from Twice and BP fans they didn't know. Or how many times ppl didn't know RM went to some museum (which is also a public place) before he personally posted? Quite a lot too. So no, we definitely don't know ALWAYS about members being somewhere in public place and there are a lot of explanations why. First of all, even tho SK is like a big village where everyone knows everyone people still have lives and are busy enough to not look at every person's face trying to see if it's a celeb or not and especially not kpop fans might not even notice that idol is near them especially if they don't expect to see a couple from members of 2 biggest kpop groups. Second, some people might just not share such info. For example, long time ago there was a story of how a fan saw Hobi shooting smth yet posted about it only when content came out (it was for LY posters) so mayhaps even if someone recognized couple they decided to not post about it or they don't post about it cause they don't have a proof so there is no point. Also tbh personally I feel like majority of those stories about "a friend of a cousin of my mom's dog groomer saw a member" or "I can't breath I just came across with" are actually coming from sasaengs or stalkers of any sort or in general from someone who deliberately seeking a way to meet member somehow and to brag about it. Will such person share their story if they stalked V and saw him with Jennie? Depends. Imo typical saseang won't, but last type of person might. I just want to say that there is nothing surprising that there is no witness of anyone spotting them except for that old car pic.
  4. So Snoop collab is not with rapline but with vocal line?.. So unexpected. Also, ugh, hybe really been sabotaging Hoseok's solo career all the way, huh?... Gosh, I am so damn mad at all that, it's already been bad but all these news just.. Ugh.... They really don't want him succeed. They've been doing anything to distract fans from Hoseok's release: they promoted game more than MORE, they decided to start dropping vlogs right in the middle of whole period from MORE to Jack In The Box release when there is already hella lot of content (Hoseok damn made his own vlogs, vlive and even video interview about Jack In The Box songs) while it's well known that fans have attention span of a fish and just jump on next shiny thing the sec it appears, they gave digital store only lil less than 2 days before tracking week is over (and still fcked it somehow cause firstly gave a wrong link and then there is a note about 4 limit per person instead of 1), there is still no cd counted for bb200, no playlisting, no radio, and now there is a whole damn new collab is coming which will be surely supported by that shjtty company (at least looking at how they already started promoting it on tiktok). They don't even want to give album to breath... Yes, release from other artist might not fully be in control of hybe but if you know that your artist is gonna be in such competition cause so many releases are coming then at least damn support your artist properly. It's really a magic that Hoseok is still doing amazing numbers, I guess it speaks of his music and talent a lot. I honestly wonder wtf is going on behind the scenes, is Hoseok not gonna renew or smth and they are punishing him? And if nothing is going on and it's not a sabotage of Hoseok spesifically, then all members for sure have to get same treatment on their solo debut cause we are here for equality and not favoritism
  5. Tbh it doesn't really make sense cause timing doesn't match: his realization that there are different types of love happened much later (year of MMA speech) than deterioration of relationship with Tae (around INU) which happened according to your theory due to Tae opening up as lgbt. Let me remind you that even if on public there was distance, in private Hoseok was still supporting Tae, for example, I remember how Tae said that Hobi wrote letter to him. Personally I still think deterioration happened cause Hoseok doesn't like when ship becomes too real and fans go super crazy (vhopers back then for real were as crazy as taekookers just in smaller size due to smaller size of fandom), cause literally same thing happened to Sope (and in less extend to Jihope). Tae just handled it worse (publicly) than other two due to his personality (he kinda wants to get what he wants no matter what) and due to him worshiping Hoseok like god (I really have a feeling that Tae had some crash on Hobi). So my theory is that mayhaps, for example, if Hoseok decided to end their ship, but Tae still wanted to clinge on Hoseok despite Hobi's decision and didn't want to tone down everything no matter how Hoseok was against it then Hoseok just became harsher and started completely ignoring Tae and even pushing him away (yeah, I also still remember those moments). I do agree with your theory on a song tho, it's indeed about educating yourself that everyone is equal and have same rights. I just don't think it's about lgbt or better to say definitely not only about it if inclusive, Hoseok's lyrics is very straightforward: he talks about genders (SK has huge problems with respecting women), nationalities (as asian artists Bangtan experienced not really equal treatment in US industry, for example), age (be it problems of power abuse from seniors or respect to seniors). It's good that a song is a comfort zone for lgbt people and it's good that he is an ally, but it's about equality in overall in every aspect. Also not regarding your post, but just want to say that Jack In The Box is not a metaphor of being in a closet. Read Rolling Stones interview with Hoseok or other his interviews and vlives, read his lyrics properly and analyze MVs to understand him. Hoseok combined Pandora box + hope (as how j-hope name was born) + clown/jester (as his "role" in a group) + the concept of that toy when smth unexpected happens (complete change of his direction in music and concept from what ppl expected and got used to especially from "BTS j-hope" and not j-hope as Hope World creator). It's about him suppressing and hiding a lot of thoughts, opinions, feelings and sides of himself, it's about him wanting more but on his own terms, he wants to do his music and art the way he wants to and not under concept company and people box him in, it's about his path which burned him down (it, btw, very correlate to what they said on Festa about being very done and lost in their creativity). Jack In The Box is very deep and complex album about him as artist and about his multilayered personality. Honestly speaking, after that party I become even more convinced that Hoseok is into women. He still can be bi tho.
  6. So excited for this! Can't believe we are finally getting Hoseok's music in 5 days! After all these years of waiting it feels surreal tbh.. And he is gonna perform Jack In The Box on hobipalooza - who is even doing it like him?
  7. Why odd tho? BTS is massive and he is most popular member in the US (at least according to followers from US and to multiple mentions of him on different US tv shows) as well as the best performer ever, if anyone is capable to hold whole solo concert for an hour as a closing act on main stage with audience which consists with not only fans then it's him so it's an amazing promo especially if he is finally dropping new music.
  8. Hoseok is so iconic! The Jung First Korean Soloist Hoseok strikes again) He literally became the most followed soloist on spotify with only one free unpromoted release and has been holding the title ever since even tho he hasn't breathed for 3 years already, now he is gonna be the first ever k-act to headline main stage on major US festival! Who is even doing it like him? Living breathing Legend! It also means that we are finally gonna get new music from him! I am so fcking excited!
  9. Kiss Me More is amazing, Doja definitely deserves the award much more. I am just a lil bit scared that bighit will continue to push that high pitch poppish trash trying to win a Grammy since they didn't get again this time, I am so tired of it, really hope they'll finally give up on it...
  10. The Little Mermaid moment is seriously gold! Indeed what can be inconvenient about not having legs while you are with a prince?) I mean, of course, it can be just smth like 'walking around' but I am pretty sure if that's what was on his mind he'd say it straightforwardly then. What did Jimin say? Do you have a video? Honestly speaking I don't think it means much cause half of guys are pointing at Joon. If anything then it tells something about both Joon and Jimin. And thus we got 3 members popular with dudes: Joon, Jimin judging from this video and Jin who got flowers from fellow classmates while attending all-boy school)
  11. I just went through comments under this tweet and they are saying it's a mistranslation, do you know if it's true or maybe it's some of those nuances which one translator can translate in one way and another in slightly different way? One of his recent receipts is that he bought lgbt-themed shoes. What is interesting about this is that people were trying to say that it doesn't mean anything (as people usually do when smth lbgt related going on regarding members) but apparently those shoes were from some limited collection which you could buy only by coming in person to the shop which implies that he indeed knew what he was doing and for what he went to the shop. At least that's what I read on twitter so correct me if somebody knows better and I am wrong.
  12. Oh, yeah, this phrase! Such an interesting one. When I saw translation of his phrase I also immediately though about lgbt and I even watched dkdktv video about this speech (cause they are Koreans and I trust their explanations about Korean nuances) and they also assumed that it was related to this) I am gonna be honest with you here, cause assuming that it's indeed about lgbt the most interesting part in the whole phrase for me is that he used word 'learnt', cause it's like he wasn't aware of such before or he wasn't aware about such in some close proximity to him. Imo both are possible, no matter how most people would think about the first option as about a crazy one, but no matter what he definitely showed his support to whoever it was addressed just in general or more personal. About flamboyant thing. Obviously nothing can be completely fake, Hoseok is very multi-layered person, there is so many sides in him, yet according to his own words he is actually very serious and calm outside of work, but even at work nowadays, when Jin also started to be a clown of the group and it's not only Hoseok's role you can see how he shows less and less flamboyancy. I honestly don't really see mannerism when he is not on his extreme hyper or clown mood, but that's just me.
  13. I see. Well, personally I definitely see that Hoseok is attracted to women, he can be bi, of course, but I don't see him a gay tbh. Ppl don't pay attention to vhope simply cause taekook is too big now, in fans' mind Tae is 'occupied' by Kook, so no matter what vhope do now fans will just not focus on this. About recommendation. Idk, never really put a lot of weight to the fact that Tae recommended it exactly to Hoseok, always thought that Call Me By Your Name was just so important for Tae at that moment that he just wanted to share about it as much as possible. Also I think that ppl don't pay attention to this much due to persona of members, cause in Tae's case who consumes a lot of lgbt-related content this recommendation just looks like another suitable piece of a puzzle, while in case of Hoseok, who has never been connected to anything lgbt-related much and hasn't recommended anything like that as well, it just doesn't mean much. Honestly the only thing (correct me if I am wrong) I can remember from Hoseok which is related to lgbt is him recommending Brockhampton song cause one of members is lgbt, but, for example, if I wouldn't be on this thread I wouldn't even know about this fact cause I don't really care about musicians besides their songs, maybe Hoseok knows about this fact or maybe he is like me - if it was Tae who recommended it I would assume the first but since it's Hoseok I lean towards the latter. I think other people think kinda like this too and indeed brush it off. And it's not like Hoseok doesn't do fanservice, he does it, rarely but does, but tbh his fanservice is so no-homo or he turns everything into smth comedic especially when fanservice is initiated not by him but by other member. The bolded part is exactly how vhope conspiracy theories were back then) I feel nostalgic tbh
  14. You are probably a new fan, right? Cause actually due to Rookie King and all the shenanigans Tae has done towards Hoseok vhope was CRAZY popular when BTS just debuted, it started to loose popularity cause Hoseok 'cancelled' it at some point (you know, it's kinda hard to ship hard when one of the sides basically runs away from the other with any given opportunity and cuts skinship and overall fanservice as much as possible) but it still was kinda holding up to +-2015/2016, the craziness was literally comparable with nowadays tae/jikook just the size of fandom was smaller. Hoseok 'warmed up' towards Tae again only recently when Tae said that he for years has been working a lot to get a praise from Hobi. Btw, I am obviously talking only about public content for fans, cause they still have had nice relationship behind the cameras anyway. And their relationship and particularly Tae's contribution to it were discussed here on thread too, from what I remember people were actually more acceptable to the idea of vhope being a possible real-life couple in comparison to how they feel about said tae/jikook, also there were ideas that's it's one-sided thing due to Hoseok's attitude. As for vhope content from recent years then I am not sure if anyone posts it here, but probably someone does (maybe I posted smth too, tbh don't remember already what I have posted here), but also it's probably kinda hard for people to consider such content seriously as anything related to mlm considering how 'cancelled' this dynamic is cause no matter if person here is a fan of BTS or not they still mostly absorb BTS content through the prism of fans' perception since that's where the information about BTS comes from. As for "man shares a picture of himself with another man in the middle of the night during rain storm while they are on vacation together on their break" I doubt it implies to anything. But ngl I am kinda surprised how secretive they have been about them being on vacation together, I mean, they are members of the same group, nothing strange about them having fun together, instead the only thing that came out from it was only Tae posting some blurry pic of them both. Maybe they simply just wanted to keep smth to themselves.
  15. Well, nobody knows what exactly is going on in Tae's head and it all indeed can be just a coincidence and an example of some chaotic energy messing with ppl's heads at 4 am. I just can give my personal opinion. I still do think that all his actions were not random and he knew what he was doing (honestly maybe even him deleting randomly staff before was to kinda prepare ppl that he can do it easily and it's just for fun so he can show glimpses of smth what actually matter but ppl would have a right of a doubt now ). As for a pic with Kook. Hm. Honestly I only now found out that some floating thingy there is apparently a Kook, for me it's always been and still is a pic of a beautiful view with half-naked man as the most acceptable form of having an image of half-naked man publicly when you live in a country like SK. I still think he uses it as 'confirmation' of lgbt innuendo from previous post. Be it morally correct or not but he indeed might use this exact pic of half-naked man cause fans (and more importantly shippers) know that some floating thingy there is Kook thus he was purposely diverting narrative to this direction. Maybe he did it to protect himself cause obviously company wouldn't like their cash cow and fangirls attractor to suddenly make a coming out at 4 am while giving a content to shippers who will become even more obsessed and threw even more money into them will be very much pleasing. Or maybe he was pleasing shippers due to the order from company cause few days ago dumbasses were trending shjt and were demanding 'to respect taekook and their relationship' cause the ship in that Chakho webtoon was not taekook but namkook. Or maybe he just forgot that some floating thingy on a pic is Kook lol It can be anything tbh, but imo the main point is lgbt actor + half-naked man with a love song as bgm.
  16. Wait. What happened with caption? I didn't catch info about caption, can you, please, tell? And yeah, I agree, it was totally on purpose: to show his interest, but cause the interest isn't appropriate to delete it in few secs like nothing happened while knowing for sure that fans will catch it in 4K regardless.
  17. I just wanted to post about it. I was wondering if the reason why he deleted was due to country politics (cause movie is from Hong Kong) or due to actor being an lgbt, but right after deleting this Tae posted his fave photo of a naked man, so I maybe it's as an answer as it could be He really deletes a lot, I don't keep a track on such posts tbh, but now I wonder if there are some similarities in such deleted posts. Also I guess Tae really was impressed by this actor (either by acting or by personality and openmindness or by both), cause he loves to do this dance a lot
  18. Since you're talking ot without using spoiler, I guess I can do it once too. Idk why Hoseok's excellence as a musician and him being on par with Namgi is bothering you so much that you keep on quoting me with some 'trust me dude' arguments. So to end this totally off topic pointless discussion in this thread let me remind that I mentioned rapline's expertise in musicmaking just as an explanation to another user about mixtapes, bighit's involvement in them and why it takes so long for vocal line to make them, so let me bring us all to the starting point: no matter on what you personally think about Hoseok's skills none of vocal line is even slightly on his or other rapline members' level of skills so that's why it takes them so long but unless the content the 4 are making has some 'not appropriate for image' thing (like Tae's gay song) bighit won't interfere or cut them off. Sorry to the thread readers, I really didn't mean fir my explanation about mixtapes to go into this.
  19. Yeah, you might be right too, like I said it's nothing serious actually. Well, it might be rude or might be not rude, cause that's just your perception while we have no idea about their actual relationship besides what is shown on camera where they should be professional, so maybe such things, such lil 'outings', are ok between them even on cam (especially cause they know for a fact that fans would write it off as a joke anyway, just like you did right here) or, just as an example of opposite theory, Kook might have some tendency of being kinda rude towards Jin so he doesn't see anything rude in such lil slip/remark anyway (we can go even farther to another opposite and very dark theory, where Kook is a homophobe and he intentionally being rude towards Jin exactly cause he knows he's mlm). You know, as it usually is for every situation there are a lot of possibilities actually. I haven't found anything rude about it before you brought it up, cause regardless of my wish to discuss it from sexuality point of view I personally read it as a lighthearted harmless joke anyway. Yeah, I noticed that about Jimin too, he really enjoys such things) Agree Kook was so casual and nonchalant about it, but probably it should be expected from 'what's tasty in Busan' guy lol Perhaps it was indeed just a joke, although it's still an interesting one imo. In terms of this discussion the ace example is interesting btw, there are probably could be very good physiological discussions about the matter, like what sex jokes ppl make or don't make depending on their sexual orientation, wishes, preferences and fulfillment of their sexual life. Gonna clear this thing up, but under spoiler cause definitely ot
  20. Want to say some thoughts about spoiler in spoiler. under a spolier too Also under spoiler lol I actually came to post this (but got stuck on checking recent pages lol) 'Invite someone to eat ramen' is, from my knowledge, quite common line to invite for sex in SK. In my opinion not only Jimin giggling cause he indeed got this association, but also Jungkook telling it exactly with this innuendo in mind. So what do you think it means in terms of members' sexualities? Does it mean that Kook said it cause he knows for a fact that Jin actually can invite a dude for sex? Or has Jimin laughed cause he found it funny how truthful this phrase is in terms of Jin? (If I am not mistaken Jimin also made some fake fanfic/news page/couple page about Namjin as a joke long time ago) Or did he find it funny cause of how truthful it is about Kook while he's saying it about Jin? Or does it tell smth about Kook (or Jimin) himself rather than Jin, cause it's Kook (or Jimin) who thinks 'invite for sex' line can be applied towards men? What do you think? I don't really think it's some very serious receipt, but I think it's interesting to discuss. I personally lean more to the thought that it tells smth about Jin rather than Kook.
  21. Whenever I see ppl talking from a personal experience about gay aesthetics in SK here it's mostly about how muscular they love to be there (and I always see images of Jungkook from BTS, Jongkook from Running Man and Wonho in my head while reading that lol). It's really interesting cause in majority when discussion goes about lgbt male idols mostly the sus ones for ppl are exactly the feminine gracile ones. But it's probably never a black & white situation anyway and the truth is somewhere in the middle when it comes to idols. The first link opened out of curiosity and I already see Jo Kwon))))
  22. Idk, when I watched his vlive what I've described is exactly what I felt. He didn't sound lonely for me, he was just calm and relaxed not in that bubbly role he plays for a group, that's how he is when he is only by himself so there wasn't anything too sad or unusual about him, just normal chatting with fans. He can be lonely of course, after all he has a lot of pressure and responsibilities, his life is hella stressful and not really the best environment to build relationships in ease, I just didn't feel anything like this in that particular vlive. I haven't seen korean fans talking about this, I've only seen international fans spreading this. He is not the eldest, his sister is older than him. Tbh every korean family have expectations of their children. I agree that he seems like the most traditional among them all as well as Jin. I wouldn't be surprised about anything about any member tbh, we know way too little about the status of their personal life so anyone can be in relationships right now and get married as soon as army service ends, for example. Anyway, it's getting too off topic, so I'll try to stop here
  23. I think Hoseok has some antics which can ping some ppl, but the thing about Hoseok is that his attraction towards women is just way too obvious, has always been. He can be bi or bi-curious, of course, but gay? Nah. But the thing about him wanting to settle down is misinterpretation: in the context of what he was talking about he said smth along the lines "it's nice to be loved by someone (fans), even love of one person is already special". I don't remember the exact translation and I am lazy to look for it or to rewatch vlive, but it was smth like this. Tbh Idk what is it about Hoseok's lives that ppl always misinterpret them, the mess which his latest vlive caused I don't even want to remember
