SANDEUL YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO LOOK SO GOOD. UNFFFFF

THE ELUSIVE FOREHEAD. HE NEEDS TO SHOW IT MORE. IT MAKES HIM EVEN SEXIER

Omg that surgery seemed serious. That could have been really bad had he not got it checked out. I'm glad they did both knees to. I feel like B1A4 should be called the Surgery-dols. Gongchan and Sandeul both had surgery, and hasn't Jinyoung, Sandeul, and CNU had a stye? I know that doesn't require surgery, but still a medical issue lol.

I are sad. As a Gongchan bias, I wish he got more appearances on shows and stuff. It seems everyone but him does.

I do too. That is one of my wishes. Sigh. He needs more.

Attitudes about homosexuality have been fairly stable in recent years, except in South Korea, the United States and Canada, where the percentage saying homosexuality should be accepted by society has grown by at least ten percentage points since 2007. These are among the key findings of a new survey by the Pew Research Center conducted in 39 countries among 37,653 respondents from March 2 to May 1, 2013. The survey also finds that acceptance of homosexuality is particularly widespread in countries where religion is less central in people’s lives. These are also among the richest countries in the world. In contrast, in poorer countries with high levels of religiosity, few believe homosexuality should be accepted by society.

21 percentage point change for Korea! Way to go! Still have a long way to go. Majority still thinks being gay is wrong but a 21 point jump is good.

  3. someone i follow and talk to sometimes on tumblr posted this. (she lives in korea)

oh also my (bi) friend raged with jokwon at a queer party in itaewon last night at the club where our other (gay) friend works

just in case there was still a human alive who thought jokown was straight

also i don’t consider this outing someone against their will cause 1) i am providing zero evidence even though my friends likely have photos i’m just not asking for them 2) him being at a gar bar doesn’t necessarily prove anything, i brought straight friends to that same club this weekend and 3) he’s pretty much already out i mean come oN

edit: OH I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS WAS ONE OF THE OFFICIAL PRIDE PARADE AFTERPARTIES

  4. yeh. Once I moved out I didn't give a f* lol

They are still the type of out of sight out of mind people (pretty much as long as im not checking out a girl or kissing in front of them they are gonna act as if they don't know).

Lucky for me my mom is really open (shes the one who asked me straight out and was pretty chill when I told her the truth. Of course I think my mom was a bit bi-curious back in her college days so that plays a part lol)

that's how my family is. i compare it to DADT. they don't ask and i don't tell. it's just that thing, that in their mind, doesn't exist. they know i live my life but they delude themselves in to ignoring it.

  5. Question! Scenario: You are in a relationship with the same sex and things are going very well between you and your partner. There is just one problem, your partner isn't openly gay, bi, lesbian etc. When you come around their family and friends things are completely different and even at times walking while holding hands becomes an issue. They say they will come out soon but it feels as if they will not. How long would you wait for that person to come out? How would you go about approaching your partner about it also expressing your feelings towards it?

I don't know tbh. It depends on the situation. I am willing to date someone who is in the closet. Although from experience it can get annoying. I wouldn't deal with it forever but would put up with it for awhile.

Not being out to family I would understand and be more easy going with. Not being out to friends is harder for me to swallow and I would have less patience with.

  6. guuurl u srs?

i have a brother named atticus who we call atty

yeahhhh i've led an interesting life

i think i've met one other atticus in my whole life. my best friend's boyfriend started calling me atti and it just stuck. now most ppl i know call me that

    ahhhh ok.
I feel weird for asking but I just didn't understand.
That's interesting! I've yet to meet any transsexual people so i'm not as knowledgeable about certain things.

I like that mindset of just going with the flow and being with someone you like regardless of gender.

it's alright. i don't mind answering. most people haven't met someone who is trans so i don't mind answering questions.

it took me awhile to get to that point.

  7. :wut:

I hope this doesn't come off rude or stupid, but im confused.

So are you straight or gay male?

Hahah not rude. It can be a bit confusing.

Actually I prefer the term pansexual male. If anything I have learned to just go with the flow and like who I like without worrying about things like gender. I've only really dated girls so far but I have done sexual stuff with guys before. I just haven't been in a long term relationship with one yet. The whole trans thing can make dating a bit harder.

  8. ^ Everyone knows Destiny's word is law lol.

Hi I'm Jarad, I'm 20 and I have a cat. Wait, I mean I'm gay. Like freshly discovered I am. I've been saying I'm bi but pretty sure it's just gay.

Welcome! I'm Atticus but you can call me Atti if you like. I think I already said hi over in the B1A4 thread but welcome to this thread.

I went through something like that but the opposite direction..

My whole coming out process was quite a long and complicated story. I came out as a lesbian in high school. I was your standard butch lesbian. I always had gender issues growing up but I didn't know there was such a thing as being trans until college and things just clicked and I was like oh. Then after I came to grips with the whole trans thing and accepted myself and started taking active steps in changing my gender that is when I realized my sexuality started changing and I found myself being attracted to guys. I'm still not used to it even though it has been a few years. I've only been in long term relationships with women so far.

  9. Hi~

I'm new here, but I actually used to go to the old hallyu, so I know many of you *not a stalker ><*

my name is Kinda~ and I'm Jinyoung biased, sandeul is between no1 and 2

    this kid ;__;

it's nice to meet you here :D

Hello! Welcome I am Atti and I'm a Baro bias. :)

B1A4 "Our Fans Are Like Our Moms"

    75434-b1a4-interview.jpg

Idol group B1A4 compared their fans to their moms, revealing their grateful hearts.

B1A4, in a recent interview, said "I think our fans have the hearts like our moms. The desire for their sons to do well. We saw our fans crying

with us when we got 1st place at a music program. I think that's why we cried more."

B1A4 received 1st place on MBC "Show! Music Core" on May 17 with their new song.

awwwww yes babies. That's true. Lol. Motherzoned  :hurr:

Haha i'm glad you finally joined us here. Hi kinda! i'm elle, baro biased~ post more!

LMAOOOOOOO. That is funny that they know. That is why I go around calling them my babies.

  10. Actually, no.  That is what I meant when I said "most ppl think there are many more gay ppl than there actually are".  10% for the overall population is way high.  The study that generated that statistic included all people that have remotely veered from complete straightness, but those sorts of thing don't make people identify as gay/bi (even to themselves).  I don't think even it being the entertainment industry would boost it to as high as some speculate.

(The comments on this article are mostly safe to read, I think, and have some additional insight.)

surveys asking people they identify as glbt are unreliable. a lot of gay people won't publicly admit to being gay because of homophobia and a lot of of people are in the closet about their sexuality.

^ i agree that the ten percent figure may be too high. but i doubt it is low as 2. being lower in older demographics would most likely because of unwillingness to admit to being gay. young people are more accepting of gay people and so thus younger gay people are more willing to publicly state they are gay

  11. Does anyone else speak drag fluently? I speak drag so much that its even started to rub off onto my teachers.

I don't really do it publicly. Well that is mostly bc I'm really quiet. It's rubbed off on my online speech though and when I talk to my friends. I don't say everything but a lot of it has entered my vocabulary.

OHH! i definitely want to see the Jim Carey one, i'd enjoy a good laugh and Were the world Mine too :33

were the world mine is one of my favorite gay movies. the plot and acting is so so but it combines two of my favorite things..  shakespeare, and musicals.

  12.

I have seen someone put out a list of who they think are gay/bi, and like 50% of some groups were on it.  Unlikely, even in the entertainment industry.  Obviously not everyone in the thread thinks the same.  I don't know why you think I assume you all do.

re: crossdressing, why do you have to wonder when I was responding to this when I said that. >.>

it is said that gay people are supposed to make up 10% of the population. factor in that there may be even more than that in said kpop industry, bc it's an entertainment field and that kind of field tends to have a higher instance of GLB people.

let's say the average kpop group size is 5. even by just going by the average of 10%, the math says that in every two groups there would be at least one gay person. but also figure in that some groups may have a higher instance of gay people while others may have zero in them.

  13. I feel like I have the opposite situation from you guys. Where I live there are a bunch of gay peeps. And im like the center of the gay circle lol (well not really. But majority of my friends are gay).

i live in the suburbs but yeah it's pretty much the same for me, except it's like half and half. half straight and half lgbtq. although all my straight friends are pretty much bicurious. i think every one of my straight friends have either made out to done sexual shit with a person of the same sex.

  14. Have you guys been to Keyseop tag on tumblr? I'm so ashamed of this fandom sometimes... The tag is a fucking mess. I don't have anything against people who oppose to them, but there are some who go over the border, like some saying that "hyeongseop is taking advantage of key". Like, srsly. OTL Key is a 5-year old that doesn't know how to wipe his butt and has a predator taking advantage of him like he could do absolutely nothing about it if it's true.

that is the same line vips use about john lee. bc oppars aren't grown men who choose who they want to hang out with. noooo.. they are being corrupted by the evil gay. this conflating of being gay (if hyeongseop and john lee are) with perverted men who hides in the bushes and corrupts male idols is really insulting and homophobic.
