  1. i'm obsessive and partially? insecure. i honestly dont how or why i am like this but like.. i have the need to know everything, to see everything. i need to make sure of everything. from time to time i also have thoughts of "what if my girlfriend cheats on me?"  or "does she really thinks im pretty?" and shit. my girlfriend is bi and sometimes i cant help it but to be afraid she's gonna leave me for some girl. normally i wouldn't think of this but she basically almost dated her close friend but at the time she didn't wanna date and this was few months before we met. i know they dont have feelings for each other anymore but they're really close and this messes up my head sometimes. i try very hard not to think or remember about this but it's hard. because of my obsessive behaviour im also really jealous so everything is basically a cycle.

i also have a hard time giving space to my girlfriend and this caused some fights between us, and this sounds stupid but sometimes i really hate when she takes too long to reply. i'm know im wrong and i am getting better at this (slowly) but it's a hard thing for me and makes me feel like shit.

LOL Well, I hope someone can find it useful.

I'm not too familiar with GKS. Is there any contact person maybe you could reach out to for specific guidance? Looking at the requirements, it mentions a GPA above 80%--is there a way to convert your system into showing you've got an average of over 80% of course totals?

    Best of luck!!

Yeah, there's a way to convert but since the system here is completely different, it gets kinda hard. And unfortunately I don't have anyone to reach out. I'm just looking into FB groups and YT videos.

Okay, the first thing I would suggest is looking for local scholarships. My city had a local scholarship for a select number of students. You'll want to know when the deadline is, what the requirements are, etc.

Next, if you know what school (or schools), you'll be applying to, see if they offer any scholarships. Most do and will have a page listing them somewhere on the website (they'll provide the type of information you need to know).

Also, it's likely that your state (assuming you're in the US, but even if not, you might be able to find like provincial-level scholarships or something equivalent) offers some type of scholarship. Mine provided two we automatically qualified for depending on our grades--I would strongly suggest looking into this.

Other than that, be aware that there are websites that list a vast number of different scholarships and can help you find the ones that are available in your area. If you're able to make use of any minority scholarship (race-based, LGBTQ+ identification (be aware that some of these would require coming out, if they apply), etc.), I'd recommend it.

Scholarships have different requirements. Some will be strictly grades-based, while others might want to see a history of achievement in a certain field. Others might want a whole package and even look into charitable work that you've done, etc. Get really familiar with the requirements of the scholarships you're looking at and don't be afraid to start applying. If you end up with a scholarship award amount that exceeds your fees every semester, the amount should be refunded to you by the university (which is a nice incentive), but do be aware (at least if you're in the US), whatever isn't used for necessary expenses (like tuition/books) will count on your taxes. Don't let that scare you, though! Scholarships are great for minimizing college debt, and you'll really thank yourself later for applying.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for writing this! But I'm talking about the GKS one. From the Korean government. My fault for not specifying, sorry.

The GKS one is mostly grade-based since you need to have a very good GPA (and where I live we don't use that) to apply.

Also, I'm not from the US, so schools here doesn't have any type of scholarship. That'd be possible only in University and because of the virus things got delayed and all that..

  4. don't know if this is right place to post this so srry in advance

i'm thinking of applying for the undergraduate scholarship but i need to do so much stuff that i feel confused, so i wanted to know if anyone here tried to apply and if u have could u share some tips? what to do/what not to do.... thanks
