The link for the dog variety show is on the first page, but it seems like the site is down right now... an alternate link is on OneDemandKorea with official eng subs, but its limited only to US viewers. hopefully the first link will be up and running again.

omg guys clearly I was joking (half joking kinda), theres even an Ines Brazil "reaching-with-receipts" gif and all. The Youngmin thing was me reaching and was another joke in the veins of intl Sungwoo stans always grasping for promo, I probably shouldve put like 3 or 4 emojis  

However the feeling of Sungwoo being ignored\shaded is NOT a joke tho, the ratio for posts with "good job Youngmin Kenta Donghyun Sewoon Woojin Youjin!" to "Sungwoo also worked hard" is like 7:1. The most obnoxious being Sewoon stans, but im not even gonna give that issue some promo. The practice gif just shows that most intl viewers once again do not notice anything about Sungwoo.

Nobody probably cares, but Youngmin has been a staple fave ever since the Be Mine fanacc rumors, as well as everyone who helped poor Mr. Park Sungwoo get some promo! this includes thirsty hoe leader Lee Youjin, Youngmin and a little bit of Kenta/Donghyun, and now Taehyun. I swear if Mr Park Sungwoo gets hate cos of this I'll never joke again!

Man this performance will be THE most iconic for Taehyun im shaking

So many people have mentioned position evaluations but I can't really comment on it because I have no idea what it's about XD I'm probably the only one here who hasn't watched season 1

There's 3 positions for the next challenge; Vocal, Dance, and Rap. Theres like 3 songs for each iirc. Each song has a different feel, so its like a group of dancers will do a cute song while another will be more aggressive-styled. Vocals will sing ballads, rappers will do a hip-hop song or compose their own raps, etc.

Some new translations!!    If anyone can translate the small bit about the age thing, I think we'll have enough make a compilation thread.

Sungwoo is probably gonna take on dance. Here's hoping there's a song that he ACTUALLY knows! All these current gen boy group songs Sungwoo won't be able to keep up. Something that doesn't have snappy intricate movements... ugh we will never get another song that fits perfectly as much as Rain's

Both sungwoo and hyunbin have some similar features with her in regards to the show but overall? Nah.

The Sohye "hardwork" comparison is nice, but I agree he's his own character right now. Like tiptoegirl said before, I agree that Seonho reminds me of Miss Sohye the most too, but even then not completely.

Some thoughts on the Be Mine teams
1. Mixed reactions on which team is better. imo I think it has to do with FNC guy's little yeunjung moments which got people shooketh. thats cos Sewoon/Jaewhan (more popular picks) > FNC + less popular main vocals >> Woojin >>> Hotshot guys. OH Sungwoo stans already know this tho, that intl fans overrate Woojin a little bit so its no surprise to us lol
2. Sewoon fans need to chill for a bit. Nobody is saying it now, but if people start saying that Sewoon deserves higher points/screentime than Sungwoo I will slap somebody. He didnt have much issues this challenge so mnet has nothing to air anyways! Im 100000% positive he'll get his much awaited screentime and rise in the vocal position challenge. Our Sungwoo will absolutely die in either dance or vocal positions omg. also I felt both Be mine teams got short screen times compared to others.
3. Youngmin's points - Mr Park Sungwoo is actually Youngmin's #1 agkae and is leading the #JusticeForYoungmin campaign himself so yes we are aware. Hopefully Youngmin rises some more in the next challenge.

Whether it makes me a bad fan or not I still want him to make the final group if it's what he wants. I think getting hate is unavoidable part of being an idol or any celebrity for that matter. And I have to admit I'm not someone who stans for talent, I think as long as a group has 1 or 2 talented members, it's enough. I would rather have charming idols with good personalities but still, I hope Sungwoo keeps improving
 
I don't think we fit the akgae term though xD akgaes are only fans of one person from a group and bash the other members which I think none of us are seeing as most if not all of us have other faves and criticism doesn't = bashing and let's be honest here, I think we criticise Sungwoo more than any other contestant

Miss Chaeyeon, despite not being as good in singing as the others, was THE face of IOI, snatching a ton of CFs, acting gigs, and varieties left and right. I do plan on making one, but theres only like 2 fully translated and 1 semi-translated testimonies so far  

1. the one from Dispatch translated by bd101 - says a lot about him being humble and hardworking

2. this small translated bit - says Sungwoo is very bright and positive

3. this testimony you posted a gist of - the intense level kindess bit would be a great if it was fully translated

Theres a few more I'm hoping for full translations of, just so people can see a clearer picture of why he's ranking quite highly among casual viewers. Especially the bit about Sungwoo having no sense of seniority, age not mattering to him, the basketball bit, etc. 

I think this'll be a good way to break that cool and collected "Song Joongki" image he has and get i-fans to see him the same light as most Knetz. I might as well add a few jokes from Knetz too, honestly I think most of his kfans see him as a kind and very goofy ahjussi and not just a cool handsome oppa.

Come to think of it... Daniel's fancam being no.1 on naver was kinda strange to begin with.. I watched it and thought Seongwoo did it better. Forgot to say

But I think we also have to accept that this show is all about the illogical biases. People sometimes don't wanna admit they're just stanning visuals or perceived personalities (we never know them personally anyway) - this show kinda makes it okay not to be rational. Feel free to like who you want, but I just get triggered when people passive aggressively criticize Chibal that it makes me wanna do a clapback lol.

 

I'm starting to think MNet airing oppa's audition gave him the ultimate obstacle. He was doing so well before that. I just told of a Haknyeon fan complaining yesterday about his lack of screentime that they should consider it a blessing in disguise lmao.

Thats exactly why I like Sungwoo the most, a lot of his army/highschool friends corroborate this cohesive image of him that I have no idea why people are shading. Its literally like kicking a puppy.

BJY sometimes kinda gets notice on my likability radar at times too, but he's not as bad as oppa in terms of dancing, singing, and fan support, so I dont think he needs 1 more fan compared to Sungwoo. also cmon wheres the fun in stanning that right  

MMO Boys are definitely the Jellyfish of this season. Let's just accept that, we can get angry and worked up but we're pretty helpless anyway. I kinda like Daniel and think Jisung has future in variety (and I loved Sejeong last season despite kinda getting an impression og how low-key cunning she was) but I'm all for being competitive in a smart way - don't get caught or at least ensure you're in the good graces of people by the time people speculate lmao. That was Daehwi's mistake, and Sejeong did it well. 

I noticed that while I did like Sejeong I actually never rooted for her... not that she needed it anyways since shes top 11 material from the start. hehe while everyone was supporting Mina or Sejong I was actually on the Nayoung train.

I actually don't have a top 11 right now tho, just a few I'm looking out for. But if I were to choose a balanced group atm

Samuel, Daehwi, Daniel, Seongwoo, Youngmin - all rounders

Sewoon, Jaewhan/Seongri(?) - vocals and not complete visual holes

Hyungseop, BYJ/Haknyeon - visuals/stan attractors - would put Sungwoo here too if ever but he doesnt dance as well as them  

KuanLin/Seonho - youngest, noona attractor

Euiwoong, Hotshot guys - rappers(?) I wanna add one of those rapper guys but I dont think Koreans will vote them.. Hotshot guys being the last resort they'll probably vote for.

also I really, REALLY still cant fathom i-fans choosing Woojin's vocals compared to Sewoon or Jaewhan   

In views YT Woojin has a staggering 400k > Sewoon at 75k. never thought I'd see the day where predominantly judgemental Knets would have more sense, Naver having Sewoon/Jaewhan at 150k+ > woojin at 80k.

Lets be honest some people are still delusional and have this "cool oppa like songjongki" image of him, which is why they cringe when he's not dancing and looking all cool. I even saw saw a few tweets wondering why Sungwoo ranked high; well that bubble has POPPED in Korea centuries ago and knetz are noticing his hard work and great personality (from those military/schoolmate testimonies), which is why he's ranking pretty high. So we dropped in ranking again. Down to 17. Be Mine isn't until next week so I'm expecting it'll probably go down a little more next week due to not really having a lot in this episode. Either way I expect he'll maintain top 30 at the very least until it gets to that point. So I'm still not stressing it in the slightest.

The only thing I havent found is this one. I'm 100% sure its not in episode 2, and I don't remember Sungwoo having a monologue in ep 1 so... where the hell did it come from???

It was no biggie honestly, in episode 2 better,faster,stronger Seongwoo said something that was a little bit off putting; something about how it would be ok if younger girls talk to him in an informal way, but if it was a guy he wouldnt be ok with it.

oh, Ong might be a bad boy, but he is THE bad boy of season 2  I swear theres absolutely no way he won't make it in the final lineup. If Mnet wants him in, they'll get him in one way or another; the whole ruthlessness thing will probably be spun around by mnet as him striving for his dreams and doing whatever it takes to win, and people will eat it up cause honestly, he's really talented and he deserves it a smidge more than the other trainees.

Bit of tension there, but while I do think oppa isnt that popular in the main thread, I also think he's not particularly hated either. The 6-7 folks who always post content for the popular trainees are pretty much the same 6-7 guys commenting on each other's posts anyways; so its more or less the same amount as the oppa fans posting over here. plus noticed those who have Sungwoo in their top11s tend to be pretty chill and don't comment as much. If only the rest of Sungwoo intl club post more over there eh? Wish I could post as often as you over there tho, I don't have the guts.

Anyways, now that younger Seongwoo is done, shall we move on to the next trainee? maybe Moonbok or Jihoon?  lmao us Sungwoonas are literally crones gossiping about those damn kids and yelling at people to get off our lawn

What really makes me happy about Chibal is while he isn't strong with OH-ers or girls on Pann, it's simply because that isn't his demographic. Most people I know in their twenties watching P101 certainly like him and his visuals. He generally appeals to an older set of people though I feel anyone younger (probably those in the same age liking Daehwi, Haknyeon & co - most likely fans born in 1997-after) who ends up liking Chibal would be an outlier in terms of statistics. I'm fairly confident nearly all of us in this thread were born on or before 1996.

Honestly that B1F4 business... feels a little bit like I'm watching the teletubbies.. while oppa is as ancient as those 80's cartoon mess  

About the MaBoy thing, while its kinda nice to have a higher rank as a sort-of ranking for intl and k-popularity, I'm personally not too bothered about the drop, mostly doing it now so my faves get the gifts. I honestly try to vote as much of the trainees I can (not only oppa) but I stop around the 20th cos I get bored. If only I can vote for everyone..

Oldie but goodie: Dispatch made another article about the messages about Sungwoo which were kinda trending before. Feels like someone in dispatch is a fan, for every pd101 article there's one singling Sungwoo out. It seems theyre not only from army buddies, but from highschool too(?) Google trans/naver trans seems decent enough... hoping for a full translation someday tho.

I was wondering, would it be okay to exchange our top favorites? That way we can see who all we joint-stan outside of Sungwoo? I know a lot of my faves are moderately popular, but not really people you'll see talked about in the main thread that often outside of a few of them.

Plus I just find y'all a lot less intimidating to converse with than I do main thread people.

Ok slightly panicking as tiptoe is giving me serious Ariyoshi Risa flashbacks its not even funny ok its still kinda funny 

Back in s1, I always thought that the final/aired performance had a lot of impact on the viewers. Even tho Sohye and Chaeyeon got a ton of flak for not being as talented in dancing/singing as the others, I always thought that both of them had great stage presence (sometimes on par or even outshining higher ranking trainees) and it really showed in their aired performances. Risa on the other hand was quite below decent during "Ah" and was a rather unfortunate member of "Day by Day" where you probably need to stand out in vocals to be remembered.

I think this gave people the idea that she's not improving as much compared to Sohye, and is why when it comes to choosing between the improving F trainee to root for, Sohye wins.

Anyways, gonna have to wait for the Be Mine performance first before actually panicking. The wait is killing me!!

i think chibal is in a very good position

wow oppa got 4th highest amount of screentime for episode one  after Moonbok(1), Samuel(2), and Ong Seungwoo(3), altho I do think sitting beside Samuel kinda helped add to the screentime, so we'll have to wait for future episodes to see if Mnet really favors old man Sungwoo.
