  1. Slaytips is #11 right now on Melon. I think the song is stabilizing in the Top20 and just needs a bit of an extra push to pop it back in the Top10. I honestly think that even, if the visual concept is a bit different that this comeback has been a success so far. The only thing that I miss is the album intro.
  2. Oh wow, they are going to be pretty active this year again. If, they do release two more albums, I hope the next one comes at the end of June/early July and then the last one in November, so they can have some breathing space. I'm a jpop fan mostly, so I'm actually really excited for this group to cross over. There's been a few 2ch posts about them, so there's something. If, they're serious, Source needs to get some of the members to be at least proficient conversationally and the #1 thing is to show that they are putting in effort in their work, it'll will seriously help to endear themselves to that audience. A solo concert, well about time, I can't wait for the fancams. I hope they release the official colours and lightstick by that time.
  3. Also, does anyone know, if Boku wa Ashita, Kinou no Kimi to Date Suru did well in the box offices?
  4. I'm excited for his future projects. I'm really glad he's getting more roles outside of the romcom genre. The cat movie and To Each His Own sound very interesting and will help him to expand his acting chops as well.
  5. She's a good singer and she can actually dance well. I hope Avex gives her an album or mini to promote after Totsuzen.
  6. Grateful that this thread exists. Anyway, I'm amazed at his achievements so far. Him and his agency are really good at picking interesting roles for him to play.
  7. Her voice sounds so good here. I really enjoy listening to the growth in all their voices this era.
  8. Oh, I really like their iggy title tracks and b-sides. Under The Sky remains in my top 5 Gfriend songs, but if I had to choose someone else it would be e.one, Hong Beum-Gyu or maybe sweetune/monotree.
  9. I will need a photoshop wizard to create a Fingertip mv version that has them doing the Tang!Tang!Tang! finger gun motions towards the face of their impeached president. Smells like a gfuture viral hit in South Korea in the making to me.
  10. Wow, after watching the cultwo performance of Fingertips, I found out that Umji was the one doing the Aws. All the girls have really improved in their lives, but I'm always surprised at the versatility of Umji's voice.
  11. So much content today. I need to pick a day this weekend to take my time and watch everything.
  12. Tokyo Tarareba Musume and Totsuzen desu ga ashita kekkon shimasu
  13. I hope they can sneak in a Crush performance as well somewhere in this promotion cycle.
  14. oh wow, they killed it. I love those stages and the girls look so confident this era.
  15. The bass slaps in Fingertips' bassline are heavenly and the mixing with the electric is amazing. Gfriend's instrumentation in their music is kind of next level and is just really refreshing to hear.
  16. Hi, I'm new to this forum. Nowadays, I really only listen to japanese music out of the asian pop entertainments, but I've been following this group from the beginning. There is something special about their music and their personalities that holds my attention. I know some buddies are disappointed by the Melon chart ranking(even though dancing around in the top 20 isn't bad), but I think a lot was achieved in this comeback. It took a lot of guts to comeback with a concept video that is entirely different than what the rest of the industry is putting out. It's incredibly brave and refreshing to see them tackle and excel at new genres. That's musical growth. They are able to do pop ballad, nudisco(amazing!), new jack swing, deep house, dance pop, etc... without losing their sound. Not many others can claim to do this and do it well. Their album sales aren't bad at all right now and all the girls look so healthy and confident. I think their packed variety schedule will help this song rise and achieve some sort of longevity. We have a lot of things to look forward to in the present and in the future, so don't get too down.
