  1. When it comes to kpop idol comebacks in March/April, I usually see light-hearted dance-pop songs/concepts become popular. Gfriend has that in spades. A song like Crush, One Half or Gone With The Wind could fit here. I'm more curious on what their image concept for the next comeback will be. I read rumours of a light/dark duality, but anything really could fall in those two categories. I'd be cool, if the future "light" concept will be a fun, out of the box concept with a Gfriend touch or a high class european aristocrat concept that has a bit of quirkiness.
  2. If, their tour starts in late February and goes on for a few weeks than a possible comeback could be in late March or early April. This could work, if Source gives it their all in promoting the comeback a few weeks in advance. I would greatly prefer a comeback in early February, but there's no sign of promotion for it right now and I don't want a quick comeback, if there's going to be no promotion. What I want to see happen from Source is them sending the girls onto variety shows and events in February to showcase their hardworking and fun personalities. Moving onto March, I want to see positive articles about the concert tour and then finally I want Source to pre-release a single from their future album that showcases the classic power-innocent concept+sound like Hear The Wind Sing or Rainbow a few weeks before the real title track and mini or album gets released. This has worked in the past for older 2nd generation kpop groups. This way you keep the girls in the spotlight and appease the general public and fans.
  3. Really happy to see a rise in fangirls in the fandom. Every fan is important, but I've noticed in kpop, fandoms with a nice amount of women tends to be more stable in the long run.
  4. A lot of moving the goal post is happening. First they said, Source is poor because their clothes this era is cheap-looking in their eyes and now they are saying that Source can afford to buy views? Like, which one is it then? Some people need to learn how to relax and see that not everything is a competition.
  5. Yt views, charts, sales, are all amazing. Now, I just have to pray for longevity, but everything in this era has fallen into place beautifully. Their show champion stage is going to be lit and attract more people to listen to them.
  6. Oh my gosh, this is wonderful. I'm so glad the reception has been good so far.
  7. If, I had to pick one b-side from every album it would be Neverland, Under The Sky, Trust, Fall in Love, Crush, and Ave Maria Honourable Mentions: Water Flower, Gone with the Wind, Hear the Wind Sing, and Falling Asleep Again Yerin looks amazing with this dark hair.
  8. I still wish it was one of the b-sides they would have promoted in the past. The song is the ultimate cheer up song and screams Gfriend.
  9. The MV has a very dreamy quality, like something out of a Studio Ghibli movie. After calming down, Love Whisper kind of sounds like, if Crush and Glass Bead came together and birthed a song. It has equal parts of calmness and pep to it. I agree with some of y'all about the choreo. I very much like the choreo, but the transitions are not as smooth as past dances. I'm worried that the hopping parts might hurt their knees at the end of this promo cycle. The clothes are fine to me. The green outfit feels like a call back to what they wore during MGT and the fake, blue romper outfit is cute to me. I'm still not bored of this album, so this is good.
  10. Yes, I saw that as well. It's a very fitting motif for this group.
  11. Yeah, I'm worried a bit that they'll slip, if they perform in water. Do you know who the choreographer was for this comeback?
  12. Ah, that's cool. Neverland was the song that made me pay attention to them, but I fell in love with the group after hearing Under the Sky. Under the Sky is one of my favourite kpop songs and never gets old to me.
  13. Ah, funny enough Me Gustas Tu is ranked the lowest for me out of their title tracks to be honest.
  14. I love that this group continues to grow. I've listened to this album a few times and I don't feel that any song here is filler. The way the songs transition to each other flows better than what happened on The Awakening. Yeah, sorry I'm a bit too excited and chattering too much, but I'm really impressed by this album. I can't wait to see their stages.
  15. Oh, can you please tell me where you ordered it? I want to order a few copies for me and my sister. edit: sorry for the multiple quotes Just ordered.
  16. This video is so beautiful. I'm not a regular kpop listener, but I have to say Falling Asleep Again is one of the best ballads I've heard in kpop in years. I'm so dang proud of them.
  17. God, I love that Iggy kept their signature guitar riff near the bridge. I have to watch the video now. Hopefully, this appears on spotify soon. I hope this song has longevity on the charts.
  18. It's been so long, since I've logged in, but I LOVE THIS SONG AND MINI! Love Whisper sounds like Fall In Love's sister. Ooh wee, the girls did it again. I feel so refreshed after a hard night at work!
  19. Totsuzen had low ratings, but she acted well in this drama. She had good chemistry with the flumpool guy that played Nanami, their kiss scenes were probably some of the best I've seen in a jdrama in awhile and she good rapport with the rest of the cast. Avex better do their job and promote this girl in all entertainment fields.
  20. They've been busy, but I'm really excited for their appearance on Immortal Song 2.
  21. I hated the blonde hair at first and was legit praying for him to go back to dark hair, but now I really like the blonde look. I'm trash. I'm patiently waiting for episode 8 of Tokyo Tarareba rn. I think his acting has come a long way and I hope he continues to get good roles. I loved his awkward turtle of a character in Juhan Shuttai. Anyway, I know he played a villain in one tv special called mohouhan, but I think it'd be cool, if he played an anti-hero in a future movie/drama.
  22. Avex would be the better choice imo and they'd probably be churning out new albums every year(though I don't want them to get tired). Sony Music Japan doesn't have a great history of uploading videos on YTube. They are big, but they seem to have a very limited interest in international fans outside of Japan. At least with Avex, there would be some videos uploaded.
