  1. Promo for her new movie PARKS 

     

     

    Director Seta Natsuki’s new work PARKS released its trailer yesterday. The film stars Ai Hashimoto, Mei Nagano, and Sometani Shota.

    PARKS is set to be released nationwide in Japan on April 22, 2017. Before this, they will also be releasing a soundtrack for the film on April 5, 2017.

    This film was also chosen to participate as the closing film for the 12th Osaka Asian Film Festival and will hold its World Premiere on March 12, 2017.

     

    PLOT

    This work is a youthful music-centered film, an official project celebraing the 100th anniversary of the opening of Inokashira Park in Tokyo. The story starts with the high school student, Haru’s, search for the former lover of her deceased father, Sachiko and her meeting with the university student Jun who resides in Kichioji. The two met the grandson of Sachiko, Tokio, and found out that she has already passed away. From her belongings, they found an open reel tape. From the tape, Haru’s father and Sachiko’s singing voice flowed. In this movie, Jun, Haru, and Tokio follows the struggles to comlete the song which was interrupted in the middle. Hashimoto plays as Jun, Nagano as Haru, and Sometani as Tokio.
