imma be real and say I have no fucking idea My best guess: If NCT U remains the main Korean branch / main unit / center hub / whatever of the NCT project, then I expect at the very least Johnny, Yuta, and Hansol to be added to the NCT U lineup. But if NCT U remains just this one time thing, then yeah, I guess it would stay the 6 of them~

Yay! Welcome~ NO!!! Definitely not!!!! Being a part of NCT is permanent, but the members chosen to promote / perform certain songs depends on the songs (this is probably the best way to understand it). The reason the 6 members of NCT U were chosen was because Taeil / Jaehyun / Doyoung worked best for Without You and those 5 worked best for T7S. But all 15 revealed members are now officially a part of NCT (as of the end of May) and will stay a part of NCT~
