I'd love it if they released anything close to Reboot's quality

A 30cm long cucumber came out of a woman living alone...
abra replied to Mrs. Morale's topic in Current News & Events
I just want to know what she had planned on doing with the cucumber later -
rip indeed Maybe you recognized one of the other participants on PD48: Shiroma Miru, Murase Sae or Kato Yuuka or maybe the girl who did the outro for the individual PR videos: Yoshida Akari (who just graduated from the group). Sae will graduate from the group in a month though to focus on her fashion and modelling career. I like that song a lot too

You're saying that but this sounds even less contemporary

Can you stan idols who you don't think are that attractive looking?
abra replied to deliriousness's topic in Random
Is the plastic surgery on his shoulder going to make him not attractive to you? On topic most of the idols I like I haven't found that attractive -
You're welcome! It became a bit longer than I expected but I thought it was better to give a bit of an explanation and introduction to one aspect of the group than to just mention some members and songs. It is actually a friendly rivalry! NMB has a good team spirit and comraderie going on, and Ayaka and Cocona have known each other since their early teens. They're from the same generation, are in the same team and since recently are also together in a 3-member subgroup. There's no strong rivalry between them and I think they feel like they'll lead the group together, but they inspire each other to improve. I'm surprised you recognize her... this was the only thing she did on the show: Her performance was maybe the worst on the show and she quickly withdrew. She was supposedly one of the girls hit in the drone accident and that's why she left, so that could be how you know her.

I only follow some members on twitter and listen to their singles if I'm honest. It's mostly NMB48 and AKB48 for me. AKB is the main group and NMB has always been my favourite sister group + they have a great new generation of members. Like many people who follow these groups I mostly follow individual members because the line-ups aren't constant and I'm conflicted about the business idea. NMB is currently going through a bit of a generation change with Yamamoto Ayaka and Cocona Umeyama expected to lead the group in the future taking the reins from Shiroma Miru. I can also suggest this twitter acc that posts gifs and videos of Cocona. TeppenSubTeam translates NMB content. My favourite member is Shibuya Nagisa but she's very active in TV/comedy and might not be in the group for much longer. One thing to know about NMB is that they've been defined by rivalries between the top members. Cocona (17) and Ayaka (18) are the main candidates to become the face of the group in the future. They joined the group at the same time 4 years ago and Ayaka was quickly recognized as a future star due to her skill and professionalism. She was given a ton of spotlight at age 14 only a few months after joining, as you can see in this short mv. Cocona on the other hand is shy, quiet and didn't have performance experience. She joined Produce48 and dropped out almost immediately. Since then she's worked hard and Ayaka has praised her saying how impressed she is with Cocona's work ethic. Her popularity also exploded and she quickly became one of the group's most prominent members. So one of the key aspects of today's NMB is the rivalry between these two very different members. They even got to center their first single together I would also suggest this unit song from NMB's latest single. It's very good and has some notable members AKB's state is a bit less clear. They have switched centers a lot during the last two years with between a couple new members and a veteran or two. Their singles usually have top members from their sister groups in the line-up. This is their latest single It has a somewhat comforting retro feeling imo. It's centered by Yamauchi Mizuki, one of their top young members alongside Oguri Yui. But my favourite members are: Muto Tomu, the general manager/captain of the 48-groups Mukaichi Mion, and former general manager Yokoyama Yui. Yokoyama Yui and Muto Tomu are on the older side so might not be in the group for long. Both AKB and NMB also have great older singles

They've always been at the bottom of my 48G ranking but I can see them climbing to third. I currently like Miku and Hana, so with the IZ members back I'll like twice as many members.

I remember her being kinda adorable, so good taste. I don't have a favourite member but the closest was probably Yena or Chaeyeon during produce. I also started liking Sakura more when she did her gaming videos When Nako returns to HKT I might actually start paying a bit of attention to them (I will check out their mvs)

I thought it was Yena or Chaewon. I always considered Nako to just be a bit cute but she looks truly beautiful here. A completely different style than what I'm used to. Thank you!

From what I saw the predictions said Trump only won the vote among white people (pretty much all demographics) and latino/hispanic men based on polling. Trump apparently also gained (a little) support in almost all demographics but lost (some) support among white men. The main difference I assume was that more POC voted this time.

Being born into a very wealthy family with a business empire helps. But I'm not here to argue his intelligence. He had close to 0 political experience however, and his behaviour is not what I'd describe as diplomatic. And rioting I'd say hasn't been political from a left-right perspective but rather about race relations and policing. The riots did not happen because people were opposed to lowered taxes, it's because they felt targeted by society in general and the police in particular.

I haven't watched much anime but Full Metal Alchemist BrotherHood and Neon Genesis Evangelion both lived up to my high expectations and are short.

I'm not, but the US presidency affects almost everyone on this planet so I keep up a bit

From what I've heard he's been more of a hindrance for the international policy of the administration. I will also say that a lot of the peace deals and talks are not that significant, especially with regards to North Korea. But I would like Biden to be careful around international conflicts. And to make serious environmental commitments.
-
I'm not so sure I'd credit Trump for any international achievements. By all accounts he has been very incompetent personally and his staff have had to do a lot of heavy lifting by handling his impulsiveness and lack of planning. Now that is not to say that everything he's done is objectively bad. Conservatives will enjoy his policies against abortion and gun control, the filling the pockets of the rich and the special relation with Israel. Which is why a lot of them ignore his very blatant flaws. And a lot of his supporters vote for him as he has enabled their bigotry.

He seems to be pretty middle of the pack in everything, so don't expect anything special but rather a return to previous presidencies
