Short comment: I don't see why you'd be against interracial relationships. I think it's only for the good as long as the relationship is sound (no violence). If people's thoughts on race are enough to stop a loving relationship between races then we have moved backwards.
Is there really some "black chain of thought" or "blackness" as Ghettoe says? I highly doubt it. It probably has much more to do with how you're brought up.
From my experience people supress themselves just as much or more based on the social class and upbringing of the person they speak to. Atleast early in life, it might change later as people are able to change class and distance themselves from their roots.
I rarely hear people make black jokes, and when I do it's almost always from black people I know. Especially a mixed guy who makes jokes about blacks, whites, asians and jews all the time. Most of the time they're more awkward than funny .
