You should! Perfume is #1 among jpop artists for songs I like. They have a 20-year career with different sounds for most albums and very few misses imo. I couldn't get into Hinatazaka's music but Nao is certainly pretty! I would recommend AKB or NMB for better songs but if I'm honest none of the 48G or 46G release great music anymore imo. Historically AKB, Keyakizaka and NMB have lots of quality songs though. I don't like the groups' business model but it's hard not to like some of the members and they have much more subbed content than other jpop acts.

This group has a lot of ridiculous songs, it's sort of what they're famous for alongside the members being nerds/misfits.

I'm happy that they are back with a song like this after some calmer releases! I really thought it had gone too far when I first heard the start but I love the song now.

I hated the start but the song is so over the top and catchy. I want to hate it but I love it.

Do the people who criticize her know more about dance than she does? How are they so confident that she got it wrong? Was it that obvious, or are they missing something?

Garam was the most talked about member before their debut and during their debut. Based on the k-netizen comments and what Crescent wrote in this thread they used CG to edit her out of shots that are in the documentary, which in my opinion is much worse than just cutting her scenes, blurring her face or changing the focus away from her. I'm not saying fans can't enjoy the series or that it is completely fictional, but the extent of the editing makes it less valid as a documentary imo.

They could have removed all scenes with Garam instead of using CGI to pretend like she wasn't there. Or acknowledge that she was part of the debut preparations. By digitally altering the shots the "documentary" shows a highly altered version of events that goes beyond just selective narrative focus.

A documentary is supposed to show what happened. By completely erasing someone they're not exactly doing that. It's like editing Michael Jackson out of a documentary about the Jackson Five.

They should call it "pre-debut fantasy" or "pre-debut story"

I don't think they should have edited her out. What kind of "documentary" is that?
