Momoiro Clover Z's Reni Takagi announced that she's getting married to her boyfriend, baseball player Shingo Usami! The pair decided to tie the knot after dating for two years. Reni is the first Momoiro Clover Z member to get married. Reni revealed that she will stay an active member of the group even after her marriage. Reni is the first high-profile female idol to get married and stay in the group but follows in the footsteps of dempagumi.inc's Furukawa Mirin and the members of Niigata-based group Negicco. She said that she was nervous ahead of the announcement, but the response by fans was overwhelmingly positive.

To add to what Shinki said: The standard 48G Senbatsu size is 16 members but it can vary and the 48-groups have more members than TripleS, so the Korean group might have smaller senbatsu. Senbatsu technically just means selection, "selected members" for a song.

Most popular female idols among gen Z revealed

I think Perfume (and Niziu) aren't in the list because they're not counted as idols. Milan (@seinedoru on twitter) who usually compiles the girl group lists includes them but they are often not considered idols. -
Most popular female idols among gen Z revealed

BiSH had the second highest relative increase in points since the latest ranking, only behind Momusu. I don't know if it's among idol groups or all idols, but it is impressive for a group with a long history and the collaboration surely helped. The disbandment announcement and other activities gave them more attention as well. I don't know what you've seen and I don't know if I want to but it doesn't surprise me that Wack and Alt-idols are popular among young people. The interest was even much higher among girls than boys that age. The list as a whole is not too surprising and follows what we usually see from the Nikkei Ent Power Rankings but it is interesting to see the break down among a younger demographic. The way kids these days consume media is completely different to just a decade ago so the difference in what artists are popular can change wildly between ages with the increasingly fragmentized manner in which media is consumed. Teens won't watch much TV and many adults do not use tiktok and other social media. -
The list is topped Saito Asuka, the first-generation member and former center of Nogizaka46. Momoiro Clover Z is the highest-ranking group; every member also made the top 10 of the list. Third and fourth place go to the leaders of Nogizaka46 and Momoiro Clover Z respectively, and fifth place goes to veteran idol Kashiwagi Yuki of AKB48. Nogizaka46 and Hinatazaka46 fill in the last positions of the top 10. The remaining top 20 includes multiple idols from Nogizaka and Hinatazaka, idol groups AKB48, Sakurazaka and BiSH, and NMB48's rising star Shibuya Nagisa. Top 10: 1. Saito Asuka (Nogizaka46) 2. Momoiro Clover Z 3. Akimoto Manatsu (Nogizaka46) 4. Momota Kanako (Momoiro Clover Z) 5. Kashiwagi Yuki (AKB48) 6. Nogizaka46 7. Tamai Shiori (Momoiro Clover Z) 8. Hinatazaka46 9. Sasaki Ayaka (Momoiro Clover Z) 10. Takagi Reni (Momoiro Clover Z) 11. Yamashita Mizuki (Nogizaka46) 12. Saito Kyoko (Hinatazaka46) 13. AKB48 14. Yoda Yuki (Nogizaka46) 15. Sakurazaka46 16. Shibuya Nagisa (NMB48) 17. BiSH 18. Kato Shiho (Hinatazaka46) 19. Endo Sakura (Nogizaka46) 20. Kosaka Nao (Hinatazaka46) Notes: * Shibuya Nagisa was said to be more popular among people in her 20s and above as they watch more TV. She ranked #6 for all ages * AKB48 entered the top 20 after missing out last year * Yukirin had the highest increase in interest, followed by Momoiro Clover Z and Hinatazaka46 * BiSH had a high relative increase and was said to be particularly popular among 10 - 14-year-olds * Foreign groups and graduated idols are not included in this ranking The ranking is based on partial data of Nikkei's annual Entertainment Power rankings for next year

I still like them, but I barely follow BEG and T-ara anymore. They both became inactive, and my favourite member left (Soyeon) or took a hiatus (Ga-In). Groups I didn't stand but lost interest are 4minute due to the schism between Hyuna and the rest of the members and April for obvious reasons.
