    I'm curious but why do you not include 2013 /2012 in 3rd generation? It's obvious they don't really belong to the 2nd generation

      But then in 2014 there was a radical change - most companies started revealing and debuting new groups to take the mantle from their existing ones. This was particularly obvious for girl groups.

      I feel like Growl becoming such a hit in 2013 was the first step in the radical shift of generations.
