I do see your point, but really, they just went for the nearest chance. They'd have to wait a whole year - if in fact a P101 S3 happens next year, we never know -, and the show needed more people. They opened up spots for actors and non-debuted idols bc they didn't manage to find enough people on time. Besides, exposure is exposure after all.

But P101 was also sold as a show for trainees, which is why debuted idols got so much hate when it started. I understand why people are upset, but at the same time if they are there, it's bc the show allowed them to, even if they sold it differently to the public. The idols are grabbing the chances they can get (specially with even big groups having problems to find variety shows to go recently), and if there's anyone to blame for trainees/rookies to be beside experienced idols, it's KBS and the production team, not the idols themselves.

NB has negative reactions for everything though lmao specially if it's popular. I'd worry more about Pann, if those knetz start getting invested on the show, there's no NB that'll bring it down lol. Regarding what they said though, abt lots of trainees - welp, there were debuted idols looking for recognition in both Produce 101 seasons, so I don't think there's smth wrong with non-debuted idols looking for recognition on The Unit. In both occasions, the show needed more people and had empty spots, so they didn't steal it from anyone. Plus, regarding the editing - while P101 was less heavy and abit more lively, Mnet also has that annoying repetitive editing that makes me freak out. KBS toned down on that and din't make it obvious when they repeated smth to give it focus. Props for that. Welp, they spent quite a lot of time today introducing the show/judges/showing Korea's scenery for some reason etc, so I think it'll go faster next week. Specially bc they don't have much time. But this also means some ppl won't have much screentime even if they pass. The only ones I'm sure that'll have full auditions aired next are Boyfriend, Hansol, Hotshot and probably S.I.S. & DIA

Hmmm same... I mean, I found him cute and all, but idk what good he'd do in an idol group. Realistically speaking, I wouldn't pay money to go on a concert and see what he did on that stage, regardless of how "cute" he is. I can watch cute videos on youtube for free if I want that. There's a difference between being cute/having that innocent clumsy aura that ppl like and being charismatic on stage. That BoA girl had tons of charisma, even though she's lacking a bit in some areas, and did that while also being talented, Jiwon from Good Day was also cute + charismatic and has talent to back it up, so idk what they were trying to do there but lol if he does get better and work hard, I'm ok with it
