  1. I think that is because the girls, or at least the showcased ones, are filled with nice characters? All pretty much variaties of nice and sweet, like store-brought donuts (or cinnamon rolls). The big bust up between Hyosun and Hyunjoo turned out fine afterwards. We had Nari playing the bad character for Euna Kim's birthday, but that was just a prank. The girls had Serri as a potential Timoteo when she went and grab Yang Jiwon, but she did not collect every 6 and S boot, and the team did not do as well so that potential was lost. Most of the conflicts within the girls were really just nothing burgers

They are not busting up basically unlike the boys where an assortment of different strong (and rowdy) characters are assembled. Advisor Timoteo assembling the MV Avengers, ambitious Dance Machines Feeldog-Seyong-Euijin, Im Joonhyuk noted for being 'lazy', angels Jun and Daewon, cute Kijoong and Marco, sleazy Casper, Dark Horse Jeup. Heck, even Beatwin's Jungha had some character development in this episode with him corroborating Z-UK's story on Casper and then the Daewon-Lee Geon faux bust up.

I feel this way too. I kinda wanted the girls to have some type of character I could associste them with. Like, Hyosun lowkey reminds me of Baekho, with the double image (between looking strong/fierce or cute) interacting with someone that's more on the cute/innocent side (for Baekho it was Guanlin, and Hyosun has Hyunjoo). Kim Jiwon is the always-smiling machine with cute features, but if she could show some reversal on stage like Yoojung or Jihoon, she'd really get a spot on top 9. Other than that, the girls have some situations here and there, talent is recognized here and there too, but no actual character that you can obviously associate. Not even a certified dark horse like Jeup yet. I wish they worked on it a bit more for the girls.

Per example, I like Eunjin and I think she has lots of charisma, but what can I definitely associate her with? Things like that are good, and the reason why Pann had tons of posts abt P101 back then. Lots of characters to talk abt lol

I'm also worried about Hansol.... he doesn't get much story, is he not interesting enough? I don't follow SM Rookies so i don't know much about his personality.

It's like he always slay on stage but off stage he just...shut down and not talking much? It could also because of the editing.

    I personally find him too stiff, so I never got his hype, and tbh his eyes scare me a bit;;;;;
  2.

Tbh i like Her and Boom Boom team the best. Her is such a fun stage and i can't believe it got last place ohdearplz.png

Also i didn't expect KBS gonna push Feeldog that far till the point they give him angel leader edit lol. So far Donghyun, UKISS Jun and Feeldog is my favorite but i hope Donghyun gonna get a storyline soon because others like Euijin, Jeup, or Seyong will keep rising and he can't keep counting on Bestfriends to vote for him.

Please someone enlighten me why UKISS Jun keep rising in rank i dont see him getting much screentime....

#JusticeForHerTeam they were so good and fun to watch :(

I liked Boom Boom team, they had good dancers to do it, but they needed more vocalists imo

His audition is one my favorite out of all audition... he's not the best rapper but i feel like he has this charisma that drawn people in.

I didn't know much of U-KISS aside from Kevin and Eli, but Jun was a discovery right in the 1st ep for me. He isn't the best rapper, but he has charisma and features that made me remember his face even after that (and I aint that good with faces). Both him and Kanto are my rap choices for top 9 tbh.

  3. Still backtracking~ so much arguing after this ep, wow

Tonight's episode made me realise how much I want Kanto in the final lineup. I mean no offense to other rapper fans (heck even I'm rooting for Jun and Jungha) but I don't think I'll ever be satisfied if he's not main rapper, his raps got me hooked and he's got the whole visuals too :)

I actually hope for the next ep, they follow the same style ie all girls or boys in one ep, unless they're making it a special ep and air everything in one ep lols wishful thinking

On a side note, Seyong, despite his straightforwardness and blunt personality, is really baby-faced. He looked esp cute in that red jacket, kinda looked like BTS Jungkook imo or lack of sleep is getting to me :derp:

Amen to Kanto on the final lineup. He's really talented, has good visuals and his raps have good meanings, flow, everything. Combining to the fact that he's a soloist (so it's real hard for him to stand on his own in the furure), I hope he makes it. His songs are already bops, he just needs more fandom/attention, and I think he's slowly gettig it.

do you think jun will make it to #1 with the vote reset?

    He better :ohpressor:

  4. Jiwon from Good Day is a legit threat to the top 9

    God is good

I hope she enters top 9 and stays there until the final elimination, and then drop. I want OT10 Good Day, I feel like they just need the exposure T.T (and soloists/members from really underrated groups could use this debut more)

  5. Honestly, idk if it's bc I got used to the way eliminations were made in P101, but it feels like they're treating the eliminations like a normal judge visit (?)

Idk I am just not taking it as seriously as I took the P101 eliminations. I was imagining the nice seat setting they'd have for The Unit since last week, so I'm a bit disappointed. Nonetheless, I feel like I won't lose many faves this time around, so I'm good.

  6. I don't really care if Twice can or can't sing. I just enjoy their songs in studio ver. because I actually find all of their releases fun to listen and jam to, even Signal (even though I agree it could've been better, the pre-chorus/chorus doesn't let me dislike this song tho). They are idols, they're not necessarily there to be powerhouses of vocals, and while I do prefer my faves slaying in performances and such with good vocal and dance performances, since I don't stan Twice, I don't feel like it's my place to ask for it. If fans are bothered, they can complain, they buy the albums. I'm just a casual listener, so idt it's my place to judge if they "deserve the fame" or nah, and I feel like ppl should start doing the same instead of bashing for free.

Even more unpopular than this is the fact that, of all of their tracks, the only one I don't have on my phone is LOA lmao

  7. Last ep I adopted BigStar, this ep I adopted IM. Both groups are super talented and have one member that stood out and stole my heart (Feeldog & center boy - pls inform me his name, he looks like Sewoon and Wontak's lovechild)

Also, IM performed Aju Nice, and did well at it. Always appreciate nice Seventeen covers. The blonde (?) rapper is also good from what I saw in the extra vid, I hope they all do well.

  8. Honestly, I cant imagine the mess if this trainees actually get the high votes in the later ep

So what happen with the rebooting idol storyline?

    Its kind a mess up

Hopefully the other idols step up their game in the upcoming ep

They'll get hate, probably. But if they reach the final group stage, it'll also mean they have a big fandom to shield them.
  9.

Let's be honest, if these few trainees that passed the audition didn't got their chance on this show there's a big possibility they would be in the basement forever, so I can't hate on them for trying, plus at least they are talented or charismatic.

Which is why I won't complain abt Hansol. Boy stayed in that basement for years and got payed dust. Trainees also go through lots of harshness. Idk what's worse, not being able to debut and try to get your chance bc your company won't let you, or debut, have your chance, and fail. This industry is too harsh for me, I wouldn't handle a day.

"The Unit", which showed a fresh start with 5.0% of ratings and 6.2% of ratings of Nielsen Korea nationwide, had a heart-warming start to its dreams beyond the walls of cold reality. The brilliant stage of the hustle and bustle of the players has proved why there should be a 'more unit'.

Yo, the ratings are quite good. I remember P101 struggled quite a lot with ratings (specially S2), yet still got a lot of public buzz around it. But there are many factors after all. I'm also really thankful for the VLive option for us inetz lel
