Well, maybe I got that impression because it was the only era where they didn't win. It didn't help that seniors came back at the same time with great songs (WG with Why So Lonely, B2ST with Ribbon), so there's that. Boom Boom wasn't their best comeback digitally, indeed. They were really experimenting with the transitions on that era (and while I'm on the unpopular opinion side of the fandom that loved Boom Boom, I know it was the weakest track of the certified masterpiece that is Going Seventeen). Clap is doing ok though. It definitely did better digitally than I expected, considering everything (it isn't really a public-friendly song. Seems more cattered to fans than anything). Wooo, the hair matching would be so cool! I hope it's different shades of blue bc I want blue DK/Jun making comebacks Btw the boys mentioned that the next comeback will have a sound that makes you think "ah, it's really Seventeen", so let's hope!

I don't think so. They seem to prefer their funky style a lot more. They mentioned that they wanted to make a song like Aju Nice again w/ Clap (they ended up w/ something more like Boom Boom though, lol). Even if, sales/chart-wise, Aju Nice was the weakest title track for them, it did get public's attention and the fun choreo and energy were very Seventeen-like.
