Idk, he might as well be an all-rounder. Most in Seventeen during pre-debut were trained in everything they wanted in order to find the thing they wanted to follow specifically, so there's that. I don't think it was a fail though. I mean, they got a MAMA award for the collab, right? It wasn't a "hit", but it also wasn't a flop :v

I heard he was really good in performance and rap. Maybe Hiphop Unit. I am used to the current members and I think they ended up with this formation for a reason, so I wouldn't change that, but it's indeed a pity that they couldn't debut together since they're so close and Sam is hardworking and talented. Heard he's going to participate in P101 S2, definitely going to support him if it's true.

Amen to that. I didn't think it would happen, but honestly RPPP became my fave cover that they did. I think I like it even more than the Adore U one. Now I can't listen to the original song without remembering their voices and choreo x.x I really want the teasers, and I look forward to special times like midnight or 10h to see if it'll come out, but just having the debut date already is amazing.

It's a pity that Samuel even left. He and the members were super close, and he never wanted to leave in the first place. He had fights with his mom, because she just wanted to go back to the US with him and continue with his normal life, but he really wanted to be there and continue training. And even when he was forced to go back, he continued to train until he could debut anyway. I think his style is a bit more mature, he'd be a maknae like Dino (who's more mature???), but his age would definitely delay Seventeen's change of style to something more adult-like. I'm happy they still get along :') I saw these interactions minus the comment on the repack picture, so cute.

I think Samuel's mom took him back to the US because he was too young for the group or smth. People thought he'd be back, but then he was dropped completely (I remember reading about it in the first pages of this thread).Most of the others were upset bc Pledis kept pushing back their debut. Doyoon realized he wanted to act more than be an idol, so he went after it. Samuel debuted but apparently his group also disbanded. Now he's lowkey solo. MingMing is believed to be soon debuting with Acemax Black. I still don't know why Dongjin left though, he was so close to debuting with Seventeen D:

Woah these are harsh statements. I only know about the Aron thing and heard a bit about Minhyun. But the Baekho thing, I kinda want receipts for it since bully-in-high-school accusations are kind of a trend nowadays, lots of idols are being accused to it even when it's not true. So it's a bit harder for me to believe. Also, Pledis has 3 chinese artists under their company, isn't it even worse (regarding MH) of him to say these things?

I don't think it'll happen to Seventeen though, since they make their own stuff, the style always matches them naturally and the fans feel closer to them. Their fanbase (not only in Korea, but also Asia) is solid and only grows. The only groups above them on sales are the two biggest boy groups of the current generation. If Pledis manages to ruin Seventeen, they really won't be able to prosper anymore.

I wouldn't mind something full of style like the ones from their profile teasers. I also personally love their Rum Pum Pum Pum outfits x.x

For some reason, this reminded me of Orange Caramel?? Maybe because it's colorful and playful. Wouldn't mind a retro concept for Pristin though, the Hi!Pristin teaser pic seemed a bit retro-ish

If there's a way to do so via OH app, pls teach me your ways D:) Tbh I always think Woozi is too busy to do stuff, but he made I.O.I's Downpour mid-promotions with Seventeen, so I wouldn't be surprised if he took some part into Pristin's debut mini album(?) or even left some song to them before going to Japan. Either ways, I know Pristin is in good hands in Pledis regarding music production. They have been releasing bops after bops in recent years (unfortunately NU'EST albums lowkey flopped last year, but the songs were amazing. Still bitter). Hopefully, the girls will have some self written/composed songs featured too! They have so many talented members in this group that it'll be a waste if they don't showcase it to the public right away. Self-producing is something people are going after these days, and it's more rare within girl groups to have a say on their stuff so early, so it'd be a good idea. Those are.... some of my fave ggroup bops.... Tbh Pristin and LC are my two fave ggroups, and the latest songs of LC were so amazing, that if the same producer is working with Pristin, then my worries are all gone. Can't wait to be slayed. Take over, queens.

Ahh, jieqkyul is the real MVP! I am thankful for the translation :') I'm so happy that people seem to be generally hyped up for this. It's good that they seem to be appealing to fangirls too, and tbh I'm impressed with the age majority :0 so many ppl in their 20's. Usually, new groups attract younger people?? I'm glad they're appealing to older fans too. Overall the public responding so well is amazing and I feel like people will really gain interest in each and every one of the girls after they debut.
