Pledis seems really confident and is not backing away even after investigating further (probably with lawyers). The fact that they're protecting him so seriously and going all out is what gives me confidence on his side. Pledis never really took many risks before - even when their main bread maker was on stake - unless they could actually do something, so this change in their approach definitely gives me hope. And even though they did plenty wrong in the past, I have to respect them for what they're doing now. My hope is for this statement to finally finish this case for good, or for this to at least get us closer to the truth, not just some vague shit. Y'all, as much as our heart are heavy and it's hard for us, as fans, to cope with so many rumors going around and people talking about it, I think that we should focus on another things. Specially if you're having trouble with real life stuff bc of this: just take a while away from the internet, do your best to focus on your duties. You need to focus on doing something useful, it helps you to get your mind straight and also doesn't let you fail at uni/school/work. We can't do anything right now. Those who want to unstan, hate or so already did it. Those who want to shield already decided to do so. A great majority, both us and the general public, is waiting for more stuff, and there is no simple way to deal with this. Pledis is working for once, let them do their work. They are actually multitasking rn, taking care of the other 2 groups while also working on this issue. Let's respect them for that, wait for them and lawyers/police to do their job, and just hope for the best. If you have more free time and a less heavy heart, go write some positive comments in their social media, maybe even only the other four's if that makes you feel better. Stream their songs/MVs and go do something else as well. There is no point in worrying about it now, the best news we could get is that Baekho denied this (there is always the possibility he could've confirmed) and that Pledis is working on the case. Let's trust in their efforts and wait. If you're a LOVE that is coping with everything in a better way, please keep giving strength to others, specially our new ones. We, as a fandom of all the 5 boys, need to be strong and help each other out more than anything.

You'd be surprised. People that grow up with you sometimes are the ones that can backstab you the fastest. It's a really difficult situation to sort out: we know they know each other, we don't know how much. We know he COULD have done that, but we know he also could've NOT. It is supposedly 8 years ago, conveniently just some months before his training time to start, when he was being monitored by Pledis, so there is no actual way we'll know the truth unless one of the parts admits it. It's all hard to dismiss, and this is the worst part of this whole thing. I'm praying for this girl to pull a Youngmin anti and just say it wasn't true. Sure, it'll be a harm to his image nonetheless, but it's the best outcome if indeed it is false. And if not, then a sincere apology and some reflection time should be enough, but I doubt it'll happen since he's saying it is 100% false

Honestly, my heart is heavy atm. I was sleeping, then I woke up, then BOOM. Tbh I was happy with NU'EST succeeding bc it took away my attention from the hate Seventeen was getting online bc of the exact same thing: rumors that can't really be proven true or false. The main problem with a sexual harrassment accusation is that people are way less prompt to forgive or defend the person being accused. The person who claims to be a victim generally gets less flack bc as a possible victim, people don't want to hurt them. But they don't really think about the other side - what if it's fake? People will call this on the accused person forever. Even if it's proven fake. It sounded to me that he did know her, but that it made him very confused. If she was contacting Pledis already, wouldn't he know that she was up to something? Why would he respond to her so calmly? It looked like he wasn't afraid of her when she first contacted him. But as soon as she brought up the harrassment accusations, he tried to call her out of the blue - she wanted to talk via text instead bc she wasn't ready for a call that she could record. He tried it again, multiple times, probably realizing that she wanted proof. When the call happens, he probably already contacted the company (or is doing that on the very moment) and is trying to know what to do. He was still in Jeju at the time, so maybe this is why they all went back quickly to Seoul?? Pledis might actually being blackmailed, I'm not saying this just as someone who is a fan, I really think this whole thing looks very staged and aimed to take him down. The statement Pledis released regarding bribing doesn't help. What makes me more upset is that there's not much you can do about it, because even if it's fake, antis will never shut up about it. Also a shame since they actually worked their asses off for years and even humiliated themselves, all of them were as clean as water for legit more than 6/7 years, and then smth like this happens. It'll also be frustrating if the rumors end up being true bc it'll mean smth he did when he was 13 will take away all of the work and improvement he had as an artist and person after that. It's very sad that this had to happen. I hope things turn out in the best way possible. But I really don't believe Pledis would be so quick to stand behind him if he was indeed guilty or if this wasn't expected *specially since Pledis is never quick on anything and never did anything to protect NU'EST like this (or most of their artists, for that matter)*. Seventeen must be really happy for NU'EST, really. They've been promoting their songs pre, during and after debut, not just bc they're their sunbaes, but because they actually like their songs. Hoshi, Jun and Dino are the most shameless ones lmao. Extra happiness that Hello is the song charting a lot now, bc they kept singing/dancing that every time lmao. Currently still backtracking (so much backtracking to do on this thread I'm emo ) and yeah, Pristin will probably come back around the time W1 debuts. Pledis might put them a week earlier or so (maybe a week later idk) so that they can have their own hype, since it's a bit early to expect wins (but it still doesn't hurt to make an effort, right?) They're still on that phase when Pledis will just answer like "we're preparing. It'll be around xxx time. No dates confirmed yet". I'd expect beginning of August, then 2 months of promos and then a NU'EST comeback right after it. Also, it helps that Seventeen will be away on a world tour... Pristin and NUEST can comeback safely and give 17 a time to rest, prepare for a comeback and do it right after NUEST. Pledis is gonna be rolling in money by the end of the year lmao I wish I could go back in time to 2014 and tell them that this would be their future, but I feel like no one would believe me
