So about Kino, I have done my research and been saving receipts for some time now: 1. In one of the episodes of Private Life of Pentagon, pretty recent btw, they played some games and the winner team would get an old school record player, so they talked about their favourite music, which artist's cds some of them have etc and Kino said the artist he likes is Mura Masa and he has his cd... For those of you who don't know who Mura Masa is, he is a british electronic music producer, he is a part of lgbt, performed several times during pride weeks in States and also the mv to his most known song 'What If I go?' features quite explicitly a gay couple: there is also a lesbian couple in that mv too I already posted about it earlier but let me remind you how during Pentagon Maker Kino chose to perform Fools by Troye Sivan, who is an openly gay singer. The whole performance was very emotional and meant a lot for him. 2. Also, when asked a question about his ideal type for kpopstarz interview he just said "someone who smiles a lot", I mean it's worth mentioning that most of the Pentagon member used female pronouns while Kino's answer was very vague. 3. His predebut photos from school? 90% of the time he posted pictures with girls (and no, not that kinda pictures when the guy is a playboy in school and has every girl), more like those photos when you're a gay kid, (writing from personal experience) and feel much safer and have more in common with girls than your regular straight "bros" in school. 4. I think it was in one of Pentory's episodes, someone asked Yuto what's Kino like and then Kino just... It's interesting how Kino naturally wanted to say "boyfriend" but then in a matter of seconds realized his "mistake" and changed to girlfriend in order to make this whole thing more heteronormative and less suspicious. As you can see I didn't really put anything "shippy" or fanservicy in this post because I'm not a huge fan of those but he has some moments like that too. Honestly I still have some more things on Kino but for now that's it, maybe I'm gonna do part 2 in the future. And just for laughs...

I don't know if Seo Kang Joon was mentioned here before but I was reading a transcript of one of his interviews (for The Star Cupid I think) and the MC asked him a question about his ideal type, this was his answer... "I always just reply with whatever I think of when I hear the question in an interview, but in reality I don’t have a particular type. I like people who I can have good conversations with, who are wise, and who laugh a lot. The most important thing isn’t whether they fit my ‘type.’ It’s whether I fall for them." People, they, them... He is playing that pronoun game pretty well, also his desirable traits aren't very telling either, someone who is wise and laughs a lot? I've seen tons of interviews with actors, the question about "the type" happens often and it's interesting to me because most of them usually talk about appearance first and use female pronouns.

I was rewatching Pentagon Maker and I think I found something interesting... I've seen Kino mentioned here (I do believe that it is very likely the boy is actually gay) so I wanted to share this. In one of the episodes all the members had to compete in a battle and their task was to choose whatever song they like, sing that song, make a choreography to it etc. I find it pretty interesting that from all the possible songs that Kino could choose he picked Fools by Troye Sivan which is not only sang by an openly gay artist but also features a gay relationship in a music video and is generally very much connected to lgbt community... like for sure he had to know that when they had time to prepare themselves and pick their own repertoire.

About that article tho, am I the only one who feels kind of dissapointed with Heechul's answer? Don't get me wrong, I'm not delusional and I do understand that for basically all the idols coming out is almost like a death sentence but I can't stop thinking that with the way things are going and how incredibly deep in the closet they all are we will not see any out celebrity in the next 10, 15 years or even more? I mean we all here see an article like that and think "yeah, yeah sure, what could he say to that, of course he is gay, just can't come out", but an average Korean would read something like that and be "right, I told you so, the guy is straight, just open minded, all those haters can stop discussing his sexuality"... My point is that all those "gay things" Heechul does and as obvious as he acts means nothing. As long as an actual idol won't stand up and say I'm gay/bi/lesbian there will be absolutely no visible lgbt representation. At the moment lgbt people for Koreans are almost like non existen species anyway, basically zero out idols/celebrities, rare appearene in tv shows/series. As optimistic as I am, this still doesn't look good.

This is not a chinese series, it's from Taiwan... Nowadays in China they could never air the kissing scenes - they have banned any gay content in their series.

I can't believe you're actually discussing Jungkook's sexual role preference... like who cares honestly, why is it so important? Even if he is gay or bi, or pan, this is not a fanfic, but real life and stuff like that should be only JK's and his future partner concern.
