So to the people who literally a couple pages back were saying that a ship (Suho and Irene) made out of two people who are colleagues, work in the same company and because of that see each other once in a while (receipts such as standing next to each other during music awards) is more "real" than a a long time relationship between Suho and Donghwan who have the same friends, spend holidays together, know each other families, call each other soulmates... Are y'all for real? Like I get that some shippers are dense but honestly this is almost laughable

Someone here was asking about Edawn before so him and Yanan did a vlive recently, they were chatting with the fans and there was this moment edawn: i fell for a girl once. it was at hwasun, i was taking a bus and fall asleep, suddenly there's a girl who woke me up thinking that i might missed my stop. i didn't see her face though bcs it was her stop, i only saw her back. at that time i fall for her kidness universe: it might be a man though? a long haired man edawn: wait a minute.. i suddenly got a shock edawn: He was literally so struck by that question and he didn't make it into a joke or anything, he legit looked like he was considering if that could/did happen

Yep, it gets me everytime when people paint Seungkwan as this thirsty gay boy crushing on his "straight" friend, when in fact it's Vernon that was always even more questionable than Seungkwan and has more proofs that he's queer imo

Oh yes I've heard about it but it's more of a case who wears that shirt and that kinda makes a difference, Kino speaks english, he knows western trends when it comes to music, film and fashion, plus most importantly has a ton of receipts, it's very likely that he's gay himself so even though he may not be the one who purposely chose this shirt (he was wearing it during a showcase) I'm pretty sure he is not clueless when it comes to the meaning of the rainbow.

I've been a fan of Pentagon since their pre debut days and from what I know and observed throughout all this time I'm pretty sure Kino is gay, there are so many receipts, things he likes (he is so deep into the whole queer music scene, he follows both lgbt artists that are more known like Years and Years and Troye Sivan - btw he said he shares the same emotions with Troye, but also for example, Le1f who is an openly gay rapper - he wears wigs, talks about gay sex and love in his lyrics), the people he hangs out with (not only is he friends with Vernon, who is speculated to be queer as well but also Kino before the debut was studying dancing at the uni, all of his photos are basically him with his female friends, in high school as well, don't get me wrong it's not like in Asian culture straight males and females cannot be friends or something but you all have to admit there is a pattern here, also he knows Minhyuk from Monsta X, however I don't know how close these two are and Jamie from After School Club who seems gay friendly, they went to high school together) and lastly his whole mannerism (Yanan said in an interview once that "there is something feminine in him (Kino), when talking about who suits Violet concept the most), the way he behaves around guys, plus I don't remember where but there was this interview or something right after they debuted where Kino himself said he is probably the one who "acts" (as someone he is not) the most in front of the camera/on stage out of all Pentagon members. E'Dawn is a very interesting character, I wish he was as easy to crack as Kino tbh. From what I know he is at least a very open minded and chilled guy, he calls himself a pacifist as well. Some of the things he does make me question him, that's for sure but I feel like a lot of the times he is seen as this "odd" guy that lives in his own world, for example he doesn't really have a lot of friends outside the group, he even talked about it in one of the interviews. A lot of the people who question E'Dawn also links him with Hui and yes they are definitely good friends, have nice chemistry but I don't think there is/was any romantic link between them (attraction maybe?) He also has this tough rapper look on stage but in reality he seems like such a soft guy, plants flowers etc. Tbh in my opinion he is most likely bi, plus I think if anybody knows about Kino and vice versa it would be E'Dawn, they are also pretty close friends since pre debut. Lastly, Hui is questionable as well for me, dude loves skinship, he sometimes says things out of the blue (during one of the pepero games he outright said for the two guys to just kiss each other and not in a joking manner, or the way he said that one day he might even kiss Jinho (they were talking about how close they got etc), the whole "fake story" about the Chinese female dancer that turned out to be a male dancer (E'Dawn spilling the tea). Plus he seems like an open minded guy as well. These three in my opinion are pretty questionable (except Kino, he is the most obvious one). I mean a lot of the boys do skinship during their vlives etc, but most of the time you can easily tell it doesn't mean anything, I was thinking about doing a master post on Pentagon members or something but honestly apart from skinship and some rare questionable moments most of them just don't ping me at all (still sad over the fact that my bias Yeo One is most likely straight...)

I know both Kyungil and Yijeong from History were discussed here before and a lot of people agreed that there is a high possibility that these two were/are a couple (?) I gotta say after the disbandment of History and Kyungil joining the army I kinda stopped following them but lately I stumbled upon Yijeong's instagram and I'm kinda confused, both Kyungil and Yijeong no longer follow each other (they both pretty active on their instagrams tho) and what I find even more interesting is the fact that Yijeong still left a lot of pictures of him and Kyungil, even with the same captions: https://instagram.com/p/BFOGmK8RcHZ/ https://instagram.com/p/BA7mZ3lRcOJ/ https://instagram.com/p/35iWKBxcMC/ while Kyungil deleted all the pictures with Yijeong and even other members of History... Or maybe the whole thing/crush was more from Yijeong than Kyungil (that would explain why Yijeong left the photos). There is also a possibility that they just broke up. So many questions, not enough answers...

I mean just because they're exposed to gay people that doesn't make them allies and supporters tbh. I'm not implying that every idol is homophobic, that's not what I was trying to say at all, but as an Asian myself living in a pretty similar country when it comes to lgbt rights (Japan is a little bit more progressive than Korea but still have a long way to go) the kpop music industry is not some kind of paradise for gays (where a huge majority of idols are these super open minded and supportive people) as a lot of the western people might think, this is not some kind of attack, it's just from what I see even in Japanese entertainment.

I think we should all remember that a lot of these "sweet, pure image" idols who do a lot of aegyo, asks their fans 5 times a day if they ate well, do a lot of skinship/fanservice and say how much they love their group mates wouldn't think twice of turning their back on them the moment one of the memebers would say that they're gay. Facts are that the majority of idols are straight and a big number of them are also homophobic. Just becuase an idol doesn't say anything openly negative concerning lgbt that doesn't mean they're an alley, they mostly share the same sentiments as majority of Koreans, sad facts.
