i dont know that much im still learning this finance and accounting stuff so correct me if i am wrong. but from my understanding a stakeholder is anyone with an interest in the company, but not necessarily a direct influence on the affairs. for example, we are also bighit's stakeholders as we are the customers, so we are interested in how they run their business, similarly, suppliers and any public group that is affected by the way bighit runs things is a stakeholder so over here it does mean that they invested in stocks. and IPO means you just issue stocks publically on the market, even without an IPO a company can have stock and shares and issue them closely within the company or to close firms etc
