I am so sad I could not go to Raina's concert nor see E-young band. I doubt I will be able to do anything fun while in Korea. We are adviced to stay on campus or go to the closest town and that's it. The closest thing I came to AS was seing a Misha shot of Nana outside of the Misha store. I was not allowed to enter the store.

Yeah that kind of stuff is probably the thing I hate the most about the kpop industry. I know there are many fans who do that kind of stuff and I think it is so disrespectful. My and my friend were once debating outside of a concert venue after the show ended if we should go to sleep or party. The group we watched exited with almost no security around them. Did I run up to them and started blabbing? Nope. did I take out my phone to take a bunch of pictures? Nope. The members smiled and waved at us before getting in their car and I smiled and waved back. I wish every idol got that kind of treatment from their fans rather than the kind of fans who run after their idols. I think this is also why I am not engaged in fandoms anymore but prefer to sit back and buy albums. I am so going to hunt for more albums because my 4 Escape The Era albums never reached my mailbox. I heard rumours about an upcoming comeback so hopefully they will have events in the sothern area of the country too. While the festival seems great it is on a Sunday, about 4,5h away one-way and I need to be back in my dorm by 23pm. I doubt it will be possible but maybe. Or I could try the mega concert instead. I will see what happens during my first week in Korea before I can decide. I unfollowed a bunch of accounts recently so now it will be easier to be on the lookout for 7 dreamers updates.

Thank you! I went through my twitter list and found out that I did follow some fansites after all, but they have been inactive since last year. :O This is a good start. The fancafes! I had forgotten about their existance as well, I might try joining it once I am in Korea. Kind of humiliating knowing I have been a kpop fan since 2011 and used to make voting tutorials for music shows and such. Now I have forgotten how the industry works lol. And thank you very much for the list of events! Trust me, I am NOT and I repeat not the kind of obnoxious fan who stalks their favorites. I am used to meeting idols I like in Japan and I think it is important to be respectful at all times. To everyone from audience members, staff and of course the idols themselves. I have seen my far share of fans breaking concert filming rules and such and trust me I am very far from that kind of fan. I don't even think I would dare to take a picture of them at a festival unless it is very obvious that it is allowed and everyone are doing it. Also I will live so far from Seoul so maybe I won't even be able to see them at all. If I do it will be on early announced events such as the festival and I will definitly not have much time to use my the internet to methodically stalk their schedules. I just want to go to see them once, even if I will be so far from the stage that I will only hear and not see anything. I think most fans in my position would want to try and see them if they had the oportunity. I don't even know what kpop define as unofficial schedules but if it is not an event that is announced early such as a festival or music show where it is clear you can buy tickets/attend it I am not about to travel 8h for that.

I used to be more active but planning for my trip, working 11 hour shifts and such made me a bit distant. Their official twitter I follow as well as the members of course. I had almost forgotten about fan cafes existing, I have pretty much forgotten how to kpop. I guess I could joining once I arrive in the country. Maybe stalking some fan sites might help too

October seems like a good time once I have settled in, but I think I might have mid-term exams then. It is also problematic to go to Seoul. I don't think I can be there on any weekdays. Maybe I won't be able to attend one after all. :( But thank you for the tip, I can try and see if I can fit it into my schedule. Hopefully I can go to one show.

That would be a good idea, except that I don't know any fansites for DC at all. I am not really into kpop much outside of 2-3 groups so I have pretty much forgotten how to kpop lol.

Thank you! It is going to be a big lifestyle change for me, I will only be gone until the year ends but it is still quite huge. Maybe I can even see a music show during their comeback.

Hello and welcome to the playgirlz world With 6 days left until I move to Korea I am not sure how much I will have time to be here before or after the move. It is all a bit surreal at the moment. I won't go see E-young's band on the 28th. :( I have an x-ray and a bunch of other stuff to do. Hopefully I will get another chance. Seing Kaeun on Produce has been so great, sadly this episode is probably the last one I will have time to see. I hope she will do well and I wish that for all current and former AS members as well. I will try to move over to the new forum once it has been made and I hope I will see many of you there. For now I am off to relax, have fun and study hard!

I missed Jungah's Birthday! Sorry Jungah, happy belated birthday! I need E-young Band's BOY in full version. I hope they will get more gigs in the future because right now there are so few who films videos of their shows. Which is clearly a sign that I need to attend an event and try to rectify the situation. So close yet so far, can't go to Raina's concert, can't go to the next E-young gig nor the 9M fanmeeting. So frustrating. She has liked him for years and she talked about him on Music Access with Aron and Aron is not a fan lol.

Ofc they had a great discography there too but the best part of their Japanese activities towards the later years for me was the dvd content we got, all the live shows and that they sung live. Good times Really loved these outfits too!

I miss DTK/DTS. I really loved both Playgirlz and DTS, I wish we could have gotten more concerts from them.

I think my only chance would be E-young's band or Kaeun P48. I don't think I will be able to be online much though so researching events might be tricky. I can't exactly fangirl over yourube videos when I live in the same room as 4 other people either. :( Hopefully info on twitter will be enough. Seems several AS songs are misisng from my phone. I better fix that before I leave so I can enjoy their songs on the plane. I don't think I have made a single plane trip since 2011 without listening to AS.

I am going to miss being a playgirl, but since I will have no private life until December I won't have time to fangirl... :( Except for when I travel to places and maybe getting a chance to see one of the members.

I just don't have the time. I am moving in a week and the days when I work night shifts in a row I only get 3h in a day when I am not at work or sleeping. Once I am finally done with my last shift I have to wake up at 3am the next day for course selections and the day after that I am moving. The day after I move I will start working at my other job andmeet up with everyone I won't be able to see until next year. Once I am actually in Korea I thing I will have even less time to be online. No idol videos, no time for music etc. I would love to have some time off but today was my last day off for the month.

I can look for her version. Will probably be early September once I have settled in and know more about how my schedule and such will look.

The irony of the the very dateable Jupal being on undateables Happy now that I arrived Seunghee? lol Probably not going to be able to stay. Working 11h per day and am now preparing my pc and laptop for Korea. While doing so I realized that First Love does not exist on my phone and I have commited a sin. Speking of First Love I will visit some kpop stores for sure at some point. So if anyone wants a specific member ver of that album I can try to find it for you.

She looks exactly the same here so I am quite sure. Hoping she will focus on her academy and writing some original material with her band. It is my goal to try and see her band at least once when I am there if I can. I have dreamt about seeing After School since 2011 and while it won't be the same it will make me very happy. It is possible but I really doubt it this time... If you compare her hair in the new pictures to the one from Italy. She likes traveling but she has the same outfit as she did back then and is in the same location as last year. I really think this picture is from August of 2017, it looks just like the others she uploaded for her birthday last year. Wouldn't be the first time she uploded a selfie so long after it was originally taken. E-young's band will be preforming on the 25th of August if I remember the date correctly. I will be in Korea then but I won't be able to go. #Bitter

It has been a while, my life is a bit of a mess to say the least but I still like seeing all this support for Kaeun on twitter. I did not plan on watching but I might watch the first episode. I have already seen some Kaeun clips, her words hurt so much. She waited for so long... I think this season of Produce is a bad idea, as a 50/50 kpop and jpop fan I am sceptical about how it all will end up. While not an AKB fan I recognize the differences in the industry and am pretty sure the members will be wrongly treated. Feels so odd but so is having an AS member on the show. AS should have been so much more, done so much better... stupid neglectful companies! It is fun seeing Kaeun use her Japanese again. Regardless of my feelings about the show I hope she will do well. It is nice to see the members supporting her too. E-young gave me some hope for AS covers with her band, I really hope it happens. Lizzy has been blessed with Pledis grad, all her latest IG updates are stunning! I don't know how good the translation is. Not really linked to AS but it is interesting that E-young liked it. Pledis will always be Pledis it seems. (Btw translation in the comments on the post)
