  1. It's glorious! I love it hahahahaha ~ I just thought Wenjun was just hangry and tired Xiao Gui speaks weirdly in general (he's just weird). First the mysterious accent for someone who was born in Fujian, how he keeps trying to rhyme things and his speech flow sounds like freestyle rapping lmao Click here to view the Tweet lowkey father and son Ziyi's like "kid, you're going to fall off your chair it's too high" I don't really believe the part in the article (linked earlier in this thread) that said that all the members were noisy except for Kun. Ziyi seems like a responsible dad. He's so chill, many ISEEs call him a Buddha because he's all about that zen
  2. Since I mentioned that some people have really thick accents & they need subtitles, I found the English language equivalent lol Can you guys decipher what he said?
  3. There's tons of people on Douyin and Meipai and other live streaming/video sharing sites trying to get famous being an online idol (singing song covers etc). I wonder if some of those people were amongst the pool of people who initially auditioned for IP.
  4. I saw this on Twitter, I want this lol Click here to view the Tweet potato quality but Nongnong's face hahaha Click here to view the Tweet Not sure if this has been posted already, Ziyi also joined in the dance (in another fancam)
  5. Click here to view the Tweet Multilingual king (speaks 3 languages)
  6. Also an update about Nine Percent's endorsements, on Weibo I saw some cute pictures of fans eating at Pizza Hut, they even brought in banners, headbands, led light boards and those canvas signs because they're extra It's rumoured that Anessa (Shiseido brand) also has an endorsement deal w/ them. I wonder how much they are earning from these endorsements Nong Fu Springs Phone game Ido Innisfree KFC (?) Pizza Hut Mercedes Benz Fendi (3) Wei ke zi flavoured milk Anessa sunscreen (?) FCC going to an LV event Olay (Yuehua 3) They are also returning to Suzhou on the 9th to film the second part of Keep Running (I wonder what activity they had in Beijing for them to fly back for one day). https://www.douban.com/group/topic/116767959/ schedule
  7. The last paragraph of the article says (roughly) "because of the entertainment boom in China, there's been a trend of young artists coming into conflict with their entertainment companies because they have more choices and demands (about the direction of their careers). This could be due to incompetency of their brokerage company. On the other hand there's also the concepts of professional ethics, honouring the contract and their personal pursuit of better opportunities in developing their careers. These are new challenges" Xukun is hardly the first entertainer to have a dispute with their label over a contract. The article states that "it's becoming the norm". He was only mentioned because his case was relatively high profile and recent. The official state publication didn't "condemn" him, the "condemning" part of the article was a statement from SWIN management's lawyer (obviously you know what they'll say when interviewed ) Why would they chose Xukun to be a representative of young people in China if they had something against him
  8. Zhang Jie (singer) updated his Instagram with a picture from yesterday's filming Click here to view the Tweet He also followed all 9 of the boys on Weibo Click here to view the Tweet
  9. I hope he gets opportunities to sing OSTs, don't waste talent! Is this the same song he wrote while on IP? I think he sang a bit of it during the elimination episode Xingjie has a crush lol
  10. Well that sucks for child stars, especially the ones who have stage parents who may not have their best interests in mind. Not saying that Xukun's mother is abusive or anything but there should be something in place for child stars who reach adult age, to decide for themselves whether they want to be in the contract their parents signed for them/an opportunity to renegotiate the terms. For example, the scenario of a 15 year old's parents signing a 10 year contract for them. By the time they are an adult (18), they might want to do something else with their life. How would they get out of the contract? Wait until they are 25 for the contract to end? That's a long time... Or they have to pay a massive fine like Xukun :( By the way that article was from April & although it's an influential newspaper, it's not a legal decision made by the courts. The author of the article doesn't know the full details of the case because it's an ongoing issue. The article is more of a commentary on the legal proceedings of the lawsuit (back and forth arguments from SWIN's management company and Xukun's legal team) and the entertainment industry - their business relationships with young stars. Xukun filmed a video last week for the same People.cn official newspaper that was featured on their online homepage, so it's not like there's some personal beef lol http://3gtv.people.com.cn/ShowMobileVideoPortal/pages/relatedIndex.jsp;jsessionid=FD8D2C615C4C9BD4906D07F9B3A21E1D?id=29967358 The video is on this thread (posted yesterday) & Ziyang also filmed one. I think it was a piece on "youths", their lives, aspirations, influences etc.
  11. Ling Chao's taller so Lu Han needs to tiptoe some extra when they're in the same frame I'm impressed grandma made it so close to the van they were in, there were lots of people Click here to view the Tweet Why is his neck so long wtf
  12. https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/ofkXf8U1hc-FqKuOvEnPvQ Essay written by someone who went to the fanmeeting (unfortunately not translated) found this part translated on Twitter lol Click here to view the Tweet Thanks to fanchengsquare on Twitter for translating this uwu material for everyone Click here to view the Tweet
  13. As a part of their mission, everyone had to record and send a Weibo story (which is like a small video) asking fans to help choose special items but Ziyi's Weibo story is less than one second --- basically a jpg of him standing there He's such a noob, I can't believe he edited the BBT videos. Whoever helped him record it is also hopeless hahaha
  14. I would try searching on Weibo for fancams. Just go to their tag and click the videos tab. Bilibili also had 1080p fancams but I don't have the link, sorry :(
  15. Filming "Keep Running" --- huge post (will be updating) Click here to view the Tweet You can participate if you have an Weibo account~ Click here to view the Tweet Everyone else under spoiler since it's getting long Nongnong w/ Deng Chao Chengcheng w/ Li Chen Yanjun w/ Chen He Justin w/ Angelababy Ziyi w/ Zheng Kai Xiao Gui w/ Wang Zulan (Cho-lam) Zhangjing w/ Wang Dalu (Ziyi will meet him lol) Zhengting w/ Lu Han ------ I'm dying The ad for when you open the Weibo app random photos under
  16. I just saw an announcement of 9% promoting Mercedes-Benz cars and I'm done lmao I'm 100% sure that Nongnong, Justin, Chengcheng etc can't drive https://m.weibo.cn/status/4237042387418132 They filmed all of the videos for these announcements in LA on the same day (hence the same outfit) Click here to view the Tweet It's like all the people who went to the 2 fan meets flooded out onto the street at once. There's probably also Lu Han fans in the crowd. This is terrifying. Click here to view the Tweet
  17. I just want SM to focus on developing the 18 members that we already have instead of rushing to debut new members to create hype. There's so many members who don't have long term fixed units, it's difficult to be a fan when you don't know if they are going to comeback regularly or get parts in their comeback. I don't know what the Dreamies are going to do when they age out of the rotational system or what's going on with the teased "NCT Japan/China/SEA". I can't imagine them having 40 members under the name of one group. SM will be spread so thin. They have to stop at some point because there is no way they can provide enough attention to each member and give them a fair chance at success. If NCT China debuts under SM's rumoured Chinese subsidiary, I hope that it wouldn't be a "name only" subsidiary but a fully functioning management team specifically for Chinese promotions, so that will take 5+ people off SM Korea's plate. That's the best scenario for members like Renjun.
