your thoughts on jihyo calling people "attention seekers" on vlive+?
Mees Madds replied to pinkpanda_spirit's topic in Random
It's weird because I do want idols to speak up more but they should do it more carefully for now. I'm sure there are people in the vlive chat who are fans of other girls and have no issue jumping on her with accusations. And she probably feels the most comfortable there because it's supposed to be private and filled with their own fans. -

I'm sure she was thinking of those who were using that issue to be provocative and start shit. But. I don't really get why she would address this particular issue. By saying it's bc she was sick she's denying/dismissing feeling bad because her loved one just had had a really tough time just the night before with some worrying words being expressed. It's okay to feel distressed when your boyfriend is calling out to be saved by the dark thoughts in his mind. And also...she went back to Korea faster than the other members. Why go back to Korea at all if you're sick when the next day you have to fly back to Japan anyway. Just stay in Japan and recuperate. This is why she shouldn't have addressed it. It's just opening up the issue to more questions. -
And I'm telling you the investigation was over by the time the award shows period even started. The guilty parties were arrested months ago. They are during trials now. That's why fans are upset, these award shows knew from the beginning what the deal was. They knew the guilty people were arrested. And they still nominated X1 and waited until after the show to say they didn't have a chance in the first place.

You don't seem informed properly of what happened. The show ended and literally the next day people saw that it was rigged because the numbers were clearly fake. People who watched the show and especially fans of other trainees who didn't make the final group demaded an investigation. Shortly after a special investigation team was formed and they started looking into the issue. During this time X1 debuted. And some months later PDs and other company men were arrested. So it's not a conspiracy. Just people having clear proof of rigging after 4 years of speculations. So please stop implying things that are not true.

They have no excuse for including them in the list of candidates if they didn't intend on even looking at their acievements in the first place. Just wanted the attention and dgaf about the fans. So fucking tired over how the groups and the fans are the ones who still have to suffer. You don't fight unfairness with more unfairness.

BIG BANG and Epik High to perform at Coachella 2020
Mees Madds replied to Gene_e's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
Can Armys and Blinks chill their paranoia for like 1 second and let us have this in peace? Is it that hard? Like, I'm truly tired. It's one good piece of Bigbang news we've had in years, have some consideration and go rant about your personal issues somewhere else. Edit: Thank you, mods, for cleaning the thread. People have every right to feel however they want to feel about Bigbang. But keep it in the appropriate threads. ------------ Anyway, I'm just over the moon because this means TOP is still in it, still willing to go on stage. I was afraid he was giving it up. I hope he is strong enough for this though and isn't pushing himself for the good of the group or the fans.- 93 replies

(CONFIRMED) Heechul & Momo Are Dating
Mees Madds replied to zella's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
Yep, had a feeling it was true even from the first rumour. I don't think this is a recent thing. -
I don't know if you have ever seen the his full reaction to that EXO performance but it's worth every minute. Bobby is someone who enjoys music with his whole body haha I miss idols having this kind of animated reactions tbh. How can you sit still when amazing performances like EXO's are happening in front of you?

I didn't watch the performances besides this one I saw on my tlist and I was amazed at what they did here. In a 2 minutes special stage of 3 idols, one of them gets completely edited out, not one single close shot of him. You could not guess he was in the performance if you only watched this. Anyone know what Yugyeom did to KBS to have them do this to him? Cause this was more than 'bad camera work'

Recently, EBS program Tok! Tok! Boni Hani‘s cast comedians Choi Young Soo and Park Dong Geun received heavy criticism for harassing a minor K-Pop idol group member Busters‘ Chaeyeon on the show. Choi Young Soo, whose video of him allegedly punching Chaeyeon went viral and ended up igniting the current situation, appealed to the public in an interview — claiming that he didn’t abuse Chaeyeon, he didn’t deserve to be fired, and that he didn’t get a chance to clear his name. The interview, however, continues to only further upset Korean netizens… "How did it come so far? I can’t believe this. I feel this is unfair. As soon as the petitions began getting signed and the official complaints filed at the broadcasting station, I was let go. I was supposed to shoot today. But as I was getting ready to go on set, I was notified of my termination. I said goodbye and left. Boni Hani staff members were crying too. What have they got to say to me? I don’t even have anything to say. But I should have been given a chance to explain — on the program, or at least through the Boni Hani live broadcast. Even if I didn’t do anything wrong, I should have been able to say sorry for creating a situation that could have been misunderstood. I should have been given a chance to apologize and promise to reflect on my actions." — Choi Young Soo "People can be so scary, I wonder how we’re even supposed to create contents. Maybe since Pengsoo on the rise, people are paying more attention to EBS. But all my life, I’ve been good here at EBS and on Boni Hani. Why is the world doing this to me? I didn’t drink and drive. I didn’t gamble. I didn’t commit any crime. If I had, and gotten fired, then I would’ve understood. That would have been my fault. But this isn’t. To be honest with you, I was more worried about Chaeyeon. Me? I’ll just go back to my hometown. But today, Chaeyeon cried so much asking if I had been removed from the show because of her." — Choi Young Soo Some even argue that Choi Young Soo “does not understand the depths of his wrongdoings” as he claimed in the interview that he was removed from the show when he “isn’t [at fault]”. “I am so baffled by the fact that he does not seem to understand what he did wrong.” “Why is it so hard for him to realize that even pretending to threaten a minor on a children’s program is so very wrong?” “Don’t you dare use Chaeyeon as your shield. You’re not worried about her.” “Just the fact that he raised his hand at her makes this entire thing violent. But he’s not going to understand that, is he?” “And to think this is on EBS for kids to watch and learn from him…” EBS has since released an official statement and apology, but it did not make much difference to the growing online frustration. Meanwhile, netizens have found more alleged “evidence” of Choi Young Soo habitually being abusive on set toward Chaeyeon — and with that, some viewers are requesting the program to be shut down for promoting violence. Source He's truly nasty. Why does he need to go on air to apologize? He could have done it in this interview. He only mentioned Chaeyeon to further play victim. He has no fault in this apparently. I'm worried for Chaeyeon though. If everyone on set is on his side then things could turn even worse for her. I don't want her to lose a job but I don't think remaining in that environment is healthy for her either.

I'm so confused by your comment. Or it's you that is confused? The name in which the donation is being done is only symbolic, people don't really believe the artist made the donation. And these donations are usually done by gathering money from hundreds of fans so they have to put it in a common name. Like one of the tweets said, Daniel told fans to make the donation in their name, Danity, rather than his. Fans wanted to show they were inspired by him. We all say we want to help out by giving money to charity but how many of us do it right when the thought comes to us? In my experience, you need a motivation and an opportunity to donate. And Daniel's birthday provided both.
