I get what you mean. He approaches things with a little bit too much intensity and he doesn't have an overly pleasant aura like Bobby either. He's been like that since WIN. I remember being surprised that this 17 y/o kid was being so real and not making any effort to look more agreeable than he is. So I definitely get that some people might find his attitude off-putting and rude but accusing him of bullying, ostracizing and even sabotaging the newbies? That I have a problem with. Like, he isn't some makjang villain. Aw, sorry to hear that m&m left such a sour taste in your mouth but then again that was the case for almost everyone. I was really disappointed at how everything turned out as well. I hope their debut makes up for it. Jinhyeong was my preferred +1 but I loved Hongseok too so I hope all the best for them.

...dead thread. So here's Hanbin with his mom: I love his smile. His mom is so pretty too. I can't wait until he debuts. We know he's been working on songs for a while now so I'm really looking forward to hearing his work. Also I'm so glad that the shitty survival shows YG put him through are finally over. Seriously, he was ready to debut back in 2013. It's so funny how some people ignore that the unnecessary pressure he was put under could have easily ruined him. The other boys obviously went through the same thing but we've seen how much more work Hanbin has to put into things. Just bc he's YG's "favorite" doesn't mean he has it easy. Not gonna lie, I'm still not over some "open-minded" Ikon fans implying that he's "sort of a bully" bc he called Hongseok out. And when it was voting time, they tried to convince people to vote for Hongseok saying that the boys were actually close and it was the editing that made it seem like they weren't, but obviously Hanbin "bullying" Hong was completely real. smh

I'm so glad, no matter the outcome, that horrible shitstorm is over thank god we don't have to read ridiculous physiological analyses about certain members and how they're manipulative bullies or smth Opening for BB's dome tour is like getting 2 years worth of training in 2 months so I'm not worried at all. They'll be ready when they debut. I hope we get to see them having fun without worrying about survival in IkonTV. We deserve it after this mess.

I love this drama. Kang Ha Neul should always wear glasses. He looks so good in this. Siwan and Kang Sora are great too. I love the whole cast actually. Going to watch episode 6 now. I know this is a pretty realistic show and all but I wonder if the constant yelling and scolding are really that common in corporate life. It just seems excessive to me but then again I don't know much about Korea's business culture.

That schedule definitely confirms OT6 if it wasn't obvious already. I need Jinhyeong in Ikon but Hongseok would be good too. God damn it YG.

It's been like that since day 1 imo. I don't see how even the worst possible case for Ikon aka Chanwoo joining would suddenly make the rest of the boys untalented but apparently that's what's going to happen. lel @ them trying to paint Jinwoo as this underrated, actually good singer in that thread. I feel bad for Jinhwan. Sure his place is secure but it was sad to see him cry after losing two consecutive times, even though his teams were the best in both rounds. In both battles he made sure to give members equal lines and the dance performance in the last episode was just awesome. He may not be bubbly and overly friendly like Bobby and Yunhyung but he's always sensible and nice. You can actually tell that he's a mature person. He's a great dancer. He's also a pretty good vocalist, I don't think I've ever heard him mess up. It's so unfortunate that all of this gets ignored just bc he has an unpleasant tone. Like.. I've seen people complain about him being confirmed or in the group at all and that's ridiculous. He balances the team. I wasn't aware that I liked him this much when I started typing lol. I may become a fan.

I've been seeing the "I don't want them to be like Ikon" thing in this thread a lot and that's so amusing to me because this group is looking to be their female counterpart. Jennie has also already been promoted exactly like Double B. I'm not sure how anyone can expect anything different at this point.

I get that the girls getting equal opportunities would be good and all but realistically it's not going to go down like that lol. We've already seen YG give Jennie the push he gives his favorites. Heck the featurings Jennie got in 2013 was even more in-your-face promotion than the other favorites. I don't mind that he focuses on one member to be honest. I guess it's unfair but I see why he's doing it and it works. Jennie might not be as talented -in rapping- as I expected her to be but it does seem like she's well rounded and she has that unique image that would catch people's eyes. If she was trained to compose on top of that, ofc she's going to be the favorite. Idk why some people who are so bothered by the way YG does things still wait for this group and expect them to be different. I can already tell that it's going to be all about Jennie and maybe Jisoo.

This thread has become so depressing with the constant pity party for Hong and over-analyzing of B.I's leadership and personality. No one should take this abomination of a show that seriously. Ot5+JinSeok would be ideal but if we can't have that I hope it's ot6+Jinhyeong. I can't wait until this show is over and the boys can start working on their debut. I'm going to act like M&M never existed once they debut tbh.

Wait, Donghyuk is magically better now? Hongseok performed poorly and he did look very out of place but everyone has bad days. It's only natural that Donghyuk dances and performs better as he has more experience but that doesn't mean he's a better choice for the final line-up. He still doesn't stand out and he still sounds too much like Jinny and Hongseok still has way more potential as a vocalist. I'm not sure why everyone is acting like Donghyuk showed something amazing lol. He only looked better bc Hongseok was a nervous mess. One performance doesn't change anything. Also, even Hayi sounded pretty bad in Let it Go so yeah... Terrible performance all around. I wouldn't mind if Donghyuk got to debut with Ikon though. As long as Chanwoo isn't in and Jinhyeong is. That kid has so much potential. I was surprised by his performance. He's the best dancer out of the three as well.

Yeah, 8 weeks lol. YGGR and Iron's song were the biggest hits out of SMTM3 I think. omg @ the 8 votes Chanwoo got. I feel bad for Donghyuk but I can't vote for him after seeing how much more Jinhyeong and Hongseok can contribute to the group. I know they need to improve on their performing but vocal/visual wise it seems like they're already more marketable. They also have a lot of potential to improve while it looks like this is as far as Donghyuk's vocals can go. Not to mention he's already at a disadvantage bc of his voice tone.

BE I had 401,074 downloads in the first 4 weeks. I'm guessing YGGR#Hip Hop will sell more? It charted better iirc.

I laugh everytime Chanwoo is on the screen. I have no doubt whatsoever that Jinhyeong and Hongseok are going to be in the final line-up. YG has big plans for this group and I don't think that he'd let Hongseok join so late if he didn't see the potential. The reason Chanwoo doesn't get scolded like them is because he's basically fodder. Hongseok and Jinhyeong are getting the Team A treatment. They're going to make it. And I can't believe that there are still people who actually think the audience votes are going to matter or that this show isn't completely scripted/rigged.

YG is great at creating groups, he won't keep Donghyuk and Chanwoo while Jinhyung and Hongseok are there. Jinhwan's team>BI's team>Bobby's team. Jinhwan's team was so good, even Jinhwan sounded great. Hongseok is just great, he wasn't even awkward even though he's really new to this. I hope the "you're in danger" speech for Hongseok is in line with the one Winner got in WIN. Really liked the episode.

All I know is that the generation shift is happening and YG is going to miss out on it if he doesn't debut the girls by the second half of 2015.
