noontime's post is killing me lmfao. This debut has messed up my bias list. Listening to Rhythm Ta made me question why Bobby isn't my bias. Then I listened to M.U.P and how can anyone not have June as their bias when he's sounding and looking so good. But B.I looks so good in the Airplane MV too. Speaking of looking good, Yunhyeong is serving visual teas in the RT MV. Jinhwan sounds so much better and he has my favorite personality. Donghyuk keeps improving. Chanwoo... is there for now. I can't choose. I am slain.

yep. When My Type was released I was bothered by the OTT hate but now I'm like.. lol ok. Just going to sit back and watch the kings do their thing. There's so much to look forward to.

I don't understand the "cringe" comments about Rhythm Ta. YG, let alone K-pop, has had much worse. Yeah B.I's hair is all kinds of cringeworthy but other than that it's literally a typical K-pop MV which is why I don't like it too much. Like, I didn't even feel like they were trying hard to look hep hap? I'm so confused.

The only thing I'm disappointed by is the MV for Rythm Ta. It could be much better but yass @ everything else. M.U.P is the best song in the album for me.

As long as Ikon is relevant and no bullshit reaches the casual Korean audience, we're good. I'm really curious about M.U.P. The intro too, since B.I is the main composer on that one and only had help from Rovin. October come faster

^^Agreed. Great summary. It's not even just NB, go into an Ikon thread on here and you'll find completely objective (lulz) bashing posts from people who are just -observant, not haters. Apparently you're a butthurt delulu if you can't see why these people bother to come into Ikon posts that aren't for discussion about visuals/vocals and voice their very serious concerns about those things every time.

Speaking of NB, I made the mistake of reading an Ikon topic there and someone actually posted a screencap of this thread's title (when it was "the kings arrive") as proof of Ikon fans' cockiness and it killed me. lmao. This thread always delivers entertainment in one way or another. <3

Junhoe helped with composing? Is this real life? I'm feeling so proud rn. This makes me have hope for others. I hope they've all contributed in some way, especially Jinhwan. I want to see his name in the credits. Yeah, PK's songs are usually on the slower side so I'm guessing this one is slow as well. Since #4 is circled in the tracklist, I'm hoping it's the banger and it's going to be the title track they focus on.

Anyway, positive vibes... uh, I'm happy that it seems like B.I had help from a variety of producers in composing. I admit I was a little disappointed with My Type but it's a really smart strategy to let people know that Ikon isn't limited to just hep hap from the beginning. The mellow sound suits them. I hope the upcoming slow song has an R&B sound and the fast one slays everyone.

Man, they've really gone through every possible scandal scenario before even releasing their debut album. What kind of ikonic pre-debut/debut era?? Stanning Ikon is so stressful but it'll also be worth it in the end. <33 Also I don't buy the sajaegi thing at all. There's nothing to indicate foul play on the charts. This too shall blow over. I don't mind slower songs, Climax & LTNS are their best songs so far. Mellow isn't a new or unexpected direction for Ikon like some people are saying so my problem isn't the songs being mellow. I want the songs to be special. My Type was a nice song and I can see why it was chosen to be the pre-release but ngl I wanted something much more memorable. I think that if Junhoe and Yunhyeong had more parts/sang the chorus, it would sound much better so it's not just about the song but also about the line distribution. Double B are my biases but they need to stick to rapping, especially B.I. Gonna wait for the full song but I don't like that snippet. :( Welp too much negativity, I'm sure they'll deliver lol. They're Ikon.
