Obviously being friends with a gay person doesn't automatically make someone gay but it's definitely more relevant than eye contact or skinship.

I could see that being Kevin Woo since he's moved into Broadway/the American entertainment industry and has also been openly supportive these past few years or the other Kevin if/when The Boyz disbands in 5+ years or so as he mostly has a international fanbase anyways who already see him as gay. Despite Key being pretty obvious and outspoken in some ways in other ways he very much tries to be the traditional Korean filial son plus he's still very conscious of the image of Shinee as a group so I don't see him being the first idol to come out barring very dramatic circumstances.

I don’t get any queer vibes from either of them. Maaaaybe Ricky a little, but Gyuvin seems straight as hell. This whole dynamic is giving me “Hey, bro, wouldn’t it be funny to mess with people by calling each other boyfriend?”. That, coupled with the fact they have seen how other members have gotten more popular by being shipped with other members, so from a career standpoint it makes sense for them to create a ship of their own. They seem like besties having fun and capitalizing on their friendship to grow their careers, a win-win situation for them.

This interaction has been brought up here A LOT lol. Honestly, yeah I think they're awkward but I don't believe it's a BIG deal. I'll say what I said the last time; Jaehyun probably had (has?) puppy admiration (puppy admiration as in "my hyung is so handsome and talented and kind" sort of thing) for Taeyong and the members knew/know it. Could there have been some sort of romantic and or sexual attraction between them? Probably and we may never really know what goes on in their mind so we shall speculate and speculation is the reason we are all here. Dang I must be out of touch with the Hollywood scene because all those names surprise me. Especially Hugh Jackman since he’s been married for like 26 years or something. _____ Anwywho, people talk about how no Korean celeb would benefit from coming out, but as people have said, nearly no celebrity in the world really does. People certainly don’t come out to make their lives easier lol. I can see someone coming out to draw more attention to their cause, and to encourage others that it is okay to be queer. That was partly the reason Shinjiro Atae came out not long ago. Coming out would be major, but even celebs openly supporting LGBTQA+ charities and organizations would be cool. That said, Korean celebs, and celebs in Asia in general, have more to lose than celebs in the Western world. When things like protections, domestic partnerships, and marriage become more common, we may see more happen. Who knows though? I didn’t think we’d ever get a gay dating show in Korea and it ended up getting 2 seasons so no one can truly predict what may happen lol

I remember someone requesting insight on Sung Hanbin's plastic surgery work, so here's my analysis. His appearance pre-Boys Planet and during Boys Planet are different. He lost weight from his dancing days to Boys Planet, so just keep that in mind. The shape of his ear is different, in the right picture it appears that he has a deformity known as the "pixie ear," which results from a face lift or neck lift. Since he's quite young, I would assume that this is from a face lift. I don't think he's had a jaw shave as his mandible angle pretty much looks the shame. I think he's had his cheekbones reduced significantly, so maybe that's the reason he got a facelift? I'm not so sure on why he got a facelift to be honest, but the pixie ear deformity is so striking to me. I think he's gotten a rhinoplasty, I mean, the projection of his nose and the shape of his nostrils is completely different. His nose was quite flat before. The distance from the base of his nose to the tip is completely different. Its sloped now. I also think he could have gotten a very mild lip lift, the distance between his nose and top lip is slightly smaller. Although, I'm not sure if him getting a nose job could give the illusion of such/affect the distance between his nose and lips? The first picture is quite low quality forgive me, but I also think he could have tweaked his eyes the slightest bit. They look more open, so perhaps he cut the outer corners. I'm somewhat unsure if he had his (double) eyelids toyed with but they do look bigger, or at the very least less hooded. if you go to page 2, someone made a huge analysis post about kibum. But here are some things off the top of my head. Other than that, he has never been interested in women in his 15 years of him being an idol.

The first time I posted on this thread I tried to convey this thoughts with my poor English. To be honest since I've liked kpop for so long I've seen a lot of scandals where newly debuted idols were caught in dating news and I always wondered why they risked their career like that. As I grew older and also had a few professional experiences I realised that the majority of kpop fans view their idols as someone who can't make their own decisions , that all idols are "tamed" and follow the rules strictly. While I know some really respect them, it's most likely the majority do date in private and take the risks to get caught. It's important to note that compagnies hide their idols relationship if they haven't been caught even though they "broke" their no dating clause if they have one. When we add sexuality in question it's a bit harder but at the same time I do think it's easier for idols to date when they are gay or lesbians, because at the end of the day, majority of their fans would call it close friendship and they know it. Because they think they can't be gay as it will ruin their career. But they seem to forget that idols are just like you and me, they feel the same way as us, and you can't decide for them that they will never try anything if they like someone just because of their contract. Like I said in a earlier post, not only in the music industry but others too. You don't know what people can do for love ( or anything else really) because you are simply not them. If your coworkers break the no dating policy in your company, idols can too. It's a matter of hiding it well.
