I don’t think any idol will come out any time soon. Maybe if/when gay marriage is legalized a retired idol may come out to announce a marriage, but I can’t see it happening until then. There is zero incentive for a working idol to come out.

tbh, what is the benefit of k-idols coming out? in their perspective? it satisfies some ppl’s curiosity but what else? esp if they can act how they usually act and are fine without saying anything explicitly

I can readily identify several names, such as Joshua, Seungkwan, Mingyu, Key, Kevin, New, Changmin, Hyunsuk, Lee Know, Felix, MJ, Minhyuk, Heongjun, Seongmin, Jungmo, Keeoho, Hao, Hanbin, Sunoo, Ten, and Im Swian. Conversely, there are names like Jaehyun, Wonho, Jacob, Eunwoo, Hyunjin, Jiwoong, and Hae In, which could go either way. There could be more names, but I'm currently pressed for time.

i could see an idol coming out if they were a foreign idol and left the industry or they were a korean idol but they moved out of korea and also left the industry (although it may be harder for them to completely disconnect from it as i know ex-idols tend to move on to variety, switch labels and still work in kpop, promote in korea in general etc) just because it would likely be safer to do so but even then these instances seem rare so that likely wouldn't happen anytime soon

Kino and Yanan are considered gay (or sometimes bi in Kino's case) by most Unis that I've seen. Kino is more based on vibes, mannerisms, and taste (from what I've seen) and Yanan based on his thing with Jun and stuff like this. I've also seen Shinwon brought up as potentially gay/bi but not as consistently like for every person who thinks he's queer another person thinks he's straight. Yuto, Hui, Wooseok, and Jinho seem to all be considered straight and a few of them have had dating scandals related to that.
