TVXQ debuted before I was born and people are still discussing which members like dick13 points

I've identified as gay for a significant part of my life, and I firmly believe that Joshua is also gay, regardless of the numerous rumors circulating within the K-pop community. Perhaps they're just close friends for crying out loud. My track record in correctly identifying individuals like Lee Pace, Richard Armitage, Luke Evans, Kirsten Stewart, and Chloe Mertz as LGBTQ+ hasn't let me down yet. It's a source of amusement for me, really!10 points

Id like to say that, personally, I believe the reason people move on from a song after a week and there is no excitment is because we are facing a time where overconsumption and lack of attention span is on a high rise. We're actively participating in burning ourself out with that is supposted to be a fun hobby, that's why we also see a rise with the "detoxing myself from screen time/social media" on youtube or tiktok. I haven't been involved in kpop fandom wise for a while and stopped caring about records long time ago and I noticed that after a good break from kpop alltogether, it improved drastically my enjoyment over songs and kpop in general. I think we all need a slow paced time in kpop to recharge.5 points

hao continues to wear the necklace hanbin gifted him but also a ring that was given by a chinese haobin fan (they gave a set of matching/similar rings but apparently the one that hao wears is one that was specifically in a box for hanbin lmao). wearing them both while away in china.... maybe it wasn't intentional but idk let's enter delulu land, it's fun5 points

Not strictly PS but could AKMU's Chanhyuk have had double jaw surgery? Or am I reaching? Image: His chin looks less recessed than it used to but I can't tell5 points

Rather than saying that that's a better translation of the clip I would say it's just a different translation and in my opinion the one that's going around sounds more correct. In this translation the whole part about 회사에서 I disagree with. Even the original korean post that was made to spread this interpreted it as the company telling them not to come out. I haven't seen the full video but I assume the clip isn't edited to take out some words or anything. Personally I think the clip is funny and Gyuvin to me seems like the biggest ally (edit: or who knows, maybe he's queer, none of us truly know)4 points

Lol that makes it more interesting to me actually. Because now after 20 years, the DBSK/JYJ members had ample time to give the public more than a glimpse of their true selves hiding under the idol facade. After all their scandals and controversies, no one still sees them as the innocent and pure boys they were when they debuted. When you read old speculations on this thread it's funny to see how fans were naive and thought the idol personas of their faves were their real personalities. And ngl I sometimes get the same feeling when I read the current users of this thread writing about their own faves being gay kings or great allies because it was the same way former users used to talk about men like Heechul or Seungri (not that both are on the same shitty level but y'all get what I mean).3 points

I have zero context for this clip, but being raised in America, Anton would probably know the meaning of the limp wrist gesture. This is likely nothing, but he’s been mentioned a time or two now. One to keep an eye on as we see more from the group.3 points

So a rapist being drunk receives a lighter punishment than someone who does drugs? What an awesome law they have in Korea. The worst is that he raped his groupmate not once but at least three times. I guess it's a relatively unknown group and that's why the identities were not disclosed. I hope the rapist can't work in his entire life and the victim receives the help he needs. When murder or rape are involved I can't understand how is allowed settling with the victim instead of going to prison inmediately.3 points

In china their entertainment board put out a statement about removing “sissy” men from tv. Jackson being him, could be trying to stay within the Chinese market.2 points

That's why I chose to focus on other interests. I've ignored what other fans are saying and just like what I like. It's better that way. Kpop shouldn't be taken so serious. It's a music genre. I've been a fan for 11 years and I still enjoy some of the music. Are my ult fave group coming back ever? No but I learned to appreciate the music they put out and enjoy other artists.2 points

It was posted on the topic, but i'm to lazy to find it, lol. So many, really ? Jaejoong admit several times he had many relations ship with girls celebrity in the past, and i don't think he lied. Also, does that means he isnt gay ? I don't think so. I heard several stories about gay men who accepted the fact of being gay, but who decided despite that to get married and build a life with a woman because it was the easier way. In my country (where gay man are globally well accepted), there is a known celebrity who is gay, he was married to a women for nine years, he was in love and happy with her but he said his relation couldn't last much longer because he was gay, (so he could'nt hide his attraction for men anymore). Recently, he stated he was very sad to see that he is gay, because he thinks having a serious relationship is more complicated when you’re gay than when you’re not. So, for me, being gay is not incompatible with dating with women. I think Jaejoong try many times to build a serious relationship with a woman, but for unkown reason, it never worked. Maybe simply because he is gay ? Lol. I heard about that as well. But this prove anything for me... I cannot see Jaejoong said to his stalkers : "because of you, i cannot have a boyfriend !" Com'on ! It was real ? I was thinking it was photoshoped. Yes, and i will add to all this : I always saw Jaejoong blush when he was in the presence of men who please him, but never with women. Really, I think she did a very good job ! You're welcome2 points

My opinion about BTS ( even though no one asked lol ) Well i think this will cause a little controversy Taehyung - there's this thing with him and jennie but i still think That he's queer, maybe he's bi or pan... He has already worn pride clothes before, is obsessed with call me by your name, and honestly he pings as hell too lol Jin - i think he's just straight honestly J Hope - bi or just a straight Ally Namjoon - bisexual... There were those rumours about him and that other Guy, has used the bisexual colours in one of his MVs... Suga - bi/pan... His verse in cypher pt 3 And this is the controversy i was talking about... Yes... I do believe that jungkook and jimin used to have something going on Do i think they were dating and all this stuff like these Crazy shippers like to think ? No Do i think they possibly hooked up or experimented with eachother at some point ? Why not ? There was that whole ear suck thing, and It was not the angle, jungkook literally sucked his ear, It is very clear in the video, this goes Beyond fanservice lol imagine someone that you're not intimate to come and suck your ear, you feel repulsed just thinking about It, and jimin didn't show any rejection or repulse to that , so maybe that wasn't the First time this happened There was that time jungkook showed up with a hikey on his neck after a night out of drinking with jimin and they gave the most ridiculous excuses lol So that being said i would say: Jimin: bisexual/pansexual leaning towards Men Jungkook: bisexual/pansexual leaning towards women ( since he has shown genuine attraction for women )2 points

TVXQ's Yunho? The one that got caught at a brothel during the pandemic and tried to flee the scene when the police barged in? Yeah, I don't think he's gay...2 points

I agree, i always end up praising their ability to find good comparison pictures because i could literally never lol! It's one of the hardest parts about making ps related posts imo, and they kill it everytime in that regard2 points

I do agree with there being a stagnation. IMHO, the only new group that can get everybody and their mama interested in a comeback now is NewJeans. I hate doing this sort of thing, but let's compare their Lollapalooza debut with adjacent label mate's TXT. They were both happening at the same time, but the only one I saw talked by people I didn't even know cared about K-pop was NewJeans. The only reason I can come up with as to why they're so popular is that there's something fresh about the way they present their materials to us. 3rd generation plateaued Kpop because that was the generation that took everything from the previous ones and perfected it. 1st gen was about creating K-pop in its purest form, 2nd gen defining the sound and globalization. Where there is no innovation, there's stagnation. If companies are still making money from fans with outdated methods, why should they progress the genre?1 point

Just a bside but SOTY istg, there are other songs i like from the album as well, and overall i think the songs fit the vibe, there's also the narrative of he getting to know the girls dating and ended up marrying her *chef kiss* this year i do remember liking very popular songs (meanwhile i mostly vibed with nugu releases more), so the most memorable MVs i can think about... she looks STUNNING! and the song and choreo the way i only know wonho from this group and idek if he was still here by this time, but this might be my fav monsta X release The fact that this was f(fans) disbandment song and the girls couldnt even film it 2gther... sick in my stomach I think in general the songs i vibed too are pretty well known, sans 2 or 3 exceptions so ill post them under spoiler Overall i dont really remember this year fondly idk why (might be because i cant believe i shared some songs with my a*s**** ex and ofc f(x) unofficial disbandment1 point

Usually I don't think much about idols with pride flags because they're thrown at the stage and they end up picking it up for a few secs but this... Ningning was the one to go for the flag and she seems to hesitate for a split second if she should really do it, it's very telling. She also had the right side up, could be a coincidence or luck but I used to think all Aespa members were straight but maybe not so much anymore... after the stuff with her model masc friend and now this. Didn't Ning also like the sapphic couple from that k-drama that got famous?1 point

While I agree kpop procedures can go overboard with what she thinks people have done, I find the photos she selects very helpful because she always shows photos with a similar expression and angle, as well as cropped close ups. It makes subtle differences easier to spot and avoids confusion from simple angle and expression changes.1 point

wait so at this point who in SVT hasn't had veneers done? i hope they have access to top notch dentists because stories i've heard stories about people regret getting veneers. i just don't get it, is it peer pressure or what? also about kpopprocedure, do you guys think sometimes they go a bit much with the speculations (about what kind of PS were done on the idol)? like idk if the idols just got really good subtle work done that i can't really tell but kpopprocedure has hawk eye that can see thru all of that, or if they make mistakes with their assumption sometimes.1 point

The recent amount of a female's chest obsession here. It must be shocking that idols who are more endowed (for East Asian standards) may want to protect themselves through binding or supporting their chest through supported padded bras while performing because of people with twisted intentions. And if "caught" with a "smaller" chest that one time must mean they were lying the whole time about their size!1 point

Yeah, this is kinda a strange topic to me. I don’t think that the original poster has actually seen that many Asian women lol. There are indeed Asian woman with naturally larger busts, and they do exist That being said I think that there are definitely idols who are suspicious of getting breast implants (Jessi and recently Hwasa), but this is not because of the size of their bust, but rather the way the breast sits on their chest. Karina and Jihyo don’t have that unnaturally high sitting breast that you see in breast augmentation. They just wear ill fitting bras and padding.1 point
-
I feel like Jihyo does use pushup bras and padding but you also have to consider that she might be using sport bras during concerts to be more comfortable. But her chest seems absolutely natural to me. If she had implants you'd notice them in that pic where she's wearing the green top. Also, her chest might have grown since debut, I went from a c cup in my last year of high school to a d/dd when I finished university. not people pointing out the very visible surgery scars and his fans just ignoring it or saying that actually those aren't scars. But it's not the first post like this I've seen. So either people are super unobservant and don't notice the changes or we've all being brainwashed into thinking that it's perfectly natural for half of your features to randomly change. "It's not surgery, they just glowed up. When will I"1 point
