I just thought I’d update, but Kevin went to a second Beyoncé concert, this time the one in LA with some famous gay fashion designer called Jeremy Scott? I also know Kevin said before he bought Beyoncé tickets for his whole family to go, so unless that concert already passed I’m assuming he will be going a third time as well?8 points

Interesting, I never thought there would be a jo1/ini post here. I've been a fan of both groups since debut and I have a quite few takes regarding them. JO1: The member that it's likely to be part of the community is Ren. Months ago he said on a program that "He wanted to live with someone he trust, no matter if it was a man or woman". I have a hunch regarding Yonasho, mostly because he has always been supportive of male fans and also hanged out with Ryuchell. There was a quite interesting video of something Ryuchell said about Yonasho back when they debuted that it made me go (he was telling Yonasho always commented his posts with "how cute", inviting him to meals, etc) Ryuchell was married at that time though, so that's something to consider and also they had a friendship group from Okinawa. INI: I've been more updated with them since they're my ultimate fav jpop group and Fengfan definitely is interesting. He posted the next post on pride month: And also, some INI members went to a radio interview and talked about social issues, Fengfan talked about lgbtq issues and also gender issues. To be honest keeping up with the receipts it's difficult since most of the content is behind the paid wall (and jpop fans are very jealous and dont like to share paid content) and a lot of content also is not translated. But I bet they have more interesting to content that got lost and I don't remember .5 points

I know that they aren't technically Kpop idols, but since they are idols kind of created using a kpop system with Produce, does anyone have any thoughts on JO1 or INI? Both groups were formed through the Produce Japan shows as permanent groups, and I've gotten into them lately (mostly JO1 due to their cover of Super). Since they're still popular idols, I doubt we'd get anything major compared to major musicians in Japan (like Ayumi Hamasaki), but some things have been fun to check out. There was the time some members went on a gay radio station and tried to guess the most popular member among gay men. I'm waiting for the day this happens in Korea lol. They did have a photoshoot in a gay club apparently (not sure if it actually is but that naked man in the 2nd pic makes me think yes). But it is just a photoshoot. Their leader Sho is someone who seems supportive at least. At their recent concert he gave a fanboy a hug. They apparently have quite a few male fans, especially gay men (I guess Produce JP was popular in that demographic), so it could just be a Jiwoong situation, but in either case it is still nice to see male idols being affectionate to their male fans, since they could totally get by without doing so. There was this moment at 10:28 when they were bowling and he said "from the boyfriend's perspective" and quickly changed it to girlfriend. Lol I remember hearing "Kareshi" and taking a double take. One of the covers he's done recently was Elton John's "Your Song." He also seemed to be good friends with Ryuchell before they passed away this year. There are other moments and thoughts on the other members, but for now thank you for reading my thesis.5 points

the way i knew it'd be peder elias before clicking the link. i also think eunwoo could be bi with woosan, i'm not that much into ateez, so idk.. it can be that they're actually hiding in plain sight, because anything affectionate they do will be named as fanservice, it could be that they themselves decided on fanservice, or the company does it for more exposure or just for content.. and depending how much you're into them, you'll think different things.. this entire thread is heartwarming. kevin went through the true fan experience, like deobis do for them. he waited 13 hours.. and the way kpop fans do longer than this.. i'm glad he was able to vibe with the people around him, and that he got barricade.. like yas good for him!! i think kevin would be good at youtube. he said he's working on a vlog but i assume that's on tbz's channel. i think it would be great if he could do more like i enjoyed when he was on get real also, he said they said his name is trending on twitter, so i wonder if he told them he's from a kpop group3 points

Last round already?! We should totally have a longer fashion one, maybe one that’s once a once a week or twice at most, so that more people can participate and accumulate scores.2 points

Welcome to the second round-up of Radio. As previously said, by the end of each week a host will endeavour to respond to questions and answers made during that week. Occasionally you might come across trivial rants on topics. I hope you enjoy today's session. Radio host: @Lee Thank you for joining in to the second session of Radio. Earlier this week, once again, I asked users two questions about whether outfits or general trends in fashion can change our perception for how it is we can go about our day-to-day interactions. As directed by the first question: Deciding what to wear can be quite difficult. However, for me personally, I've usually based my choices around the weather. That is to say, for example, during winter I would usually wear jumpers. So I agree completely about a need to dress comfortably. When it comes to colors, what we wear is also determined culturally. Where I live, it's very common to see many people wear shades and colors are more in neutral in tone — for example, black, grey, white, brown. Although I also have seen quite often people wearing fits that are brighter. Clothing has always been more of a personal endeavour. I believe much of it will always comes down to preference. I've seen people put a lot of focus on their outward appearance. I suspect it's not so much because of a need to "impress" others but actually because what you wear physically can actually set a lasting impression, at least before people can get to sit down to get to "know you". So, to reinforce, clothing isn't just treated as an aesthetic tool; it's also way to make sense of the reality that is happening around you, which leads us nicely into the next question: Regardless of the walk of life in which you find yourself most personally engaged, feeling inspired by what others have said or done is going to play a big part in the decisions you make for yourself. In my opinion, the same is especially true for fashion — for instance, from just deciding what to wear, most of it is already taking place at an unconscious level. I didn't realise much of it before, but I would say from looking again at my own closet, the clothes I have in it seem to be mostly varied — with different colors and patterns to suit different occasions. While I do think that what I "change" into becomes less important, I will say though that "variety is the spice of life", at least for me. When it comes to clothes, this has always been true; although that could also say more about my own privilege in deciding what I want to wear. My dress sense is "regular". Outside of the logos and colors, my choices of clothes have been pretty standard. In my opinion, nothing stands out as flashy, which is typical for people who are more introverted. My wardrobe is mostly filled with clothes that were pre-owned, although some of it were also bought directly from the retail outlet. I don't typically follow fashion trends, but I do observe what others will wear. Sometimes interesting fits and designs come by, even if it might not fit my personal preference. On a side note, I also sometimes visit op shops because it allows me to reconsider and potentially spruce up my choices. Another reason I visit these places is to surprise myself at looking at how many things people actually had and to see what people no longer want to keep in their own homes. Even with your existing clothes, there's still ample opportunity to try different combinations and colors. I do believe you can always surprise yourself from making these little choices, and it's something I would encourage anyone to do. Thank you for joining in today's session. The next set of questions for Radio will be posted soon to the thread. So be sure to check that out if you haven't already.2 points

Hello everyone. What is your unpopular opinion? Also, please explain your theory behind your opinion. I'll go first. I think ChaEun woo is bi Explanation: Chaeunwoo in an interview being asked how would you like to meet someone? and him saying 자만추 which means 'naturally though life's circumstances' and it's a pretty new gen word that the older people didn't know what he meant so he said and I am putting this in the literal translation 'Man or woman, I would like---[someone interrupts him and he starts his sentence all over again] Man or woman I would like to meet them naturally' He says the same thing twice because he got interrupted the first time and in both instances he very clearly says 'Namja' Jimin is sus with either sungwoon or Lee Saeon. One of them.2 points

I know R U Next has just finished, but I was wondering if it would be possible to discuss the final members of the group (+/- eliminated members). This was my first time watching a survival show where I felt as if several of the participants had noticeable work done. My prime example would be my fav Yunah, who I suspect has had (at minimum) a rhinoplasty.1 point

I found this VERY suspect... Jungkook showing up with this hickey on his neck after a night out of drinking with jimin... There's no heterosexual explanation for this https://twitter.com/kmagust/status/1692302407676412361?t=94K6bPrYgU86IEawKKjc3w&s=191 point

His Veneers do not fit his mouth shape at all and look uncomfortable. They're way too big. it kinda gave him an overbite too. I understand K-pop is about perfection. But his snaggle tooth had charm. Apparently, Jiwoong trained at SM a bit before he debuted in INX. Which thank god he did because SM hates square and broad jaws and would've made him have a jaw shave.1 point

Something about him being melancholic about bp while being in quarantine but also being thankful to the people that are by his side while attaching a photo of centerz on his first post shouldn't had hit me so hard. Everyday I'm glad these two found each other while pursuing their dreams.1 point

with new groups we will only have to see. It's hard to tell. I mean I was in a straight relationship but I turned out pretty gay and not to say that everyone who is in a straight relationship is gay secretively it's just that we can't be sure.1 point

Sohee too. He was pictured going to hunting bars. There's also an older rumor (from his neo days) about Sungchan having dated a female trainee. But real or not, I've always thought Sungchan and Shotaro were straight anyway. Tbh I'm wondering if Riize could end up being SM's "straightest" boygroup.1 point

A facelift at the age of your late 10's/early 20's is insane to think about. Especially since a facelift is something you have to upkeep for the rest of your life. It's actually pretty sad. I never noticed his ears either.1 point

idols probably wait way less than the recommended rest period after their procedures to re-start their daily activities because of their intense schedules, and they literally have to dance and practice everyday for a living. i wonder how much this influences and correlates to eventual irregularities, it's very sad1 point

I'm still curious about her jaw shave. It happened right before ICC era right? But up until Dec 2014 she still had her old jaw while performing Happiness in Gayo events. ICC happened in mid-March 2015, which means they started shooting/preparing for it in Feb at the very least? So does that mean Wendy had only around 2 months of healing after a jaw surgery? How did that even work and she's also the group's main vocal which mean she has to use her jaw a lot more than other members. And I hope the slimness of her face afterward is just a result of her extreme dieting and not because she touched her jaw again. Like there's barely anything left there T_T1 point

i feel like it was around thursdays child era when he last did something to his nose? i remember seeing him then and thinking that his nose and jaw especially looked so different. i think you're right it doesn't look like hes done anything to it within the past year, i rlly hope he doesnt do anything to it again since its more settled into his face now1 point

Chaewon already has a v-line jaw but sometimes she edits her pictures to make her chin even more triangle like, pointy shape. I just hope she doesn't get a chin implant or filler. She is perfect the way she is right now.1 point

I think there was definitely a bite, jimin's ear even moves a little because of it, but i haven't seen the videos with the "saliva" edited in It lol1 point

definitely, he's had stuff done to his nose a few times (3 times possibly??) i could be wrong but hes def touched his nose more than twice1 point

i’m glad he’s proud of it but one thing i do hope is that zeroses don’t go overboard with it. we know how kpop fans can run things into the ground one girl did the mother pose at kcon, one did it as their dream stage ending fairy, and another made a sign with it in the crowd and they responded but once people see these people getting their moment, everyone starts to do it thinking they’re funny as iconic as mother is.. i know it all too well as a fan of btob where minhyuk even had to say can y’all stop the soobin comments and when it comes to eunkwang, it’s always give up1 point

omg you're never going to let that go. try to do a phone detox and maybe you'll realise that the "actual people" are literally changing everything about themselves in concerning amounts and time we've never seen before they're like stitched frankestein monster. totally UNCANNY.1 point

i think one time he retweeted some namjoon fanart if thats what you're thinking of?1 point

some of the pre-debut pics you came across are after she had surgery already (pretty sure she had her eyes, nose, and probably some jaw work done before entering SM) and some others where captured in motion when she was pulling her face down a bit to make it look more oval shaped ig. But i think it's pretty obvious that she had a jaw shave. maybe other stuff on top of that but her change was way too big for no jaw shave imo. like, she has a whole new face shape now. before: now:1 point

How so? I am going on the fact Jisoo is dating a man. No wishful thinking there, I don't give a damn what someone's sexuality is. Might want to look at the guy from Everybody Hates Chris (don't recall his name) who wrote a great article on why speculation can be damaging. Who said she is straight? Just that Moonsun is clear BS. Also, shame their support doesn't extend to POC!1 point
-
No one is saying idols aren't LGBT. But headcannoning idols as such based on silly things like watching a film etc is dumb. That's the problem with threads like this. Jisoo is just in a long line of examples of people deciding she isn't straight because they think she's hot. It is of course the same with morons who won't entertain the idea of idols being gay or bi, even ones like Key who have made it pretty clear they are not straight. Also, it's opposite sex, not gender. That feeds into the homophobic "hearts not parts" crap so popular these days.1 point

It saddened me to see these K-pop idols with secondary to tertiary rhinoplasties. Because of undesirable occurrences like infection, deformity, and shrinkage, they have no choice but to change their nose again even if they like how it look already.0 points
