Apparently they announced last minute that only the top two girls would be decided by fan votes and the rest would be chosen by the judges/company and they made it so that kvotes counted for 70% and then had an additional round of live voting that only koreans could participate in (despite the show having basically no buzz over there) which meant that the lineup was guaranteed to have the visual members that the kfans liked and than whatever the company wanted (which was other teenage visuals/dancers). Honestly it sounds like they would have been better off not doing a survival and just releasing a predebut show since they clearly had a vision from the beginning that did not match what the audience ended up seeing.

I remember someone requesting insight on Sung Hanbin's plastic surgery work, so here's my analysis. His appearance pre-Boys Planet and during Boys Planet are different. He lost weight from his dancing days to Boys Planet, so just keep that in mind. The shape of his ear is different, in the right picture it appears that he has a deformity known as the "pixie ear," which results from a face lift or neck lift. Since he's quite young, I would assume that this is from a face lift. I don't think he's had a jaw shave as his mandible angle pretty much looks the shame. I think he's had his cheekbones reduced significantly, so maybe that's the reason he got a facelift? I'm not so sure on why he got a facelift to be honest, but the pixie ear deformity is so striking to me. I think he's gotten a rhinoplasty, I mean, the projection of his nose and the shape of his nostrils is completely different. His nose was quite flat before. The distance from the base of his nose to the tip is completely different. Its sloped now. I also think he could have gotten a very mild lip lift, the distance between his nose and top lip is slightly smaller. Although, I'm not sure if him getting a nose job could give the illusion of such/affect the distance between his nose and lips? The first picture is quite low quality forgive me, but I also think he could have tweaked his eyes the slightest bit. They look more open, so perhaps he cut the outer corners. I'm somewhat unsure if he had his (double) eyelids toyed with but they do look bigger, or at the very least less hooded. this is the origin of the meme if you want to know, op was dancing to Heize VingleVingle and used a bunch of hashtags to find gays on twitter, he did it for weeks before this tweet went viral on korean twt, not just k-gay twt. it has become a really popular meme on korean twt that if you search 빙글빙글 on twitter it's just filled with kpop stans making jokes about it with their faves. i don't think they are necessarily on k-gay twt but they're definitely chronically online and follow bunch of korean kpop stan accounts seeing how fast they referenced it when the meme was just birthed on early august and that vid uploaded on 15th August lol.

SNSD were just really good at fanservice compared to WG and KARA at that time, which earned them a lot of fangirls (aside from being gorgeous and having bops) and people loved to speculate about their sexuality. The only two members with gay rumors are Yuri and Taeyeon (Jessica just has a lot of fangirls and she's friends with Hong Seok Cheon, she's just really cool with gay people) I've been a kpop fan since 2009 and i was so into SNSD, so here are some of the gay rumors that circulated back then: -In 2007, pictures of Taeyeon from 2006 spread in Cyworld. She was seen with an older woman walking around Cheongdam-dong and Hongdae, there were pictures of them holding hands, carrying shopping bags and there was one picture of her being picked up by the said older woman with her car. I can't seem to find the pictures now since it was so long ago and i can't find the blogs anymore, but around 2008 Taeyeon was not spotted with the older woman anymore and her dating rumors with Junsu started. -In 2009? 2010? rumors about two SNSD members dating each other circulated. An SNSD manager got drunk at a bar and started rambling about the two members saying that them dating was giving the managers and the management a hard time (SNSD has like 10 managers so no one can point out which one spilled the beans) Fans speculated it was Taeny (they became really touchy and clingy in public which is very unusual for someone so reserved as Taeyeon) some said it was Yulsic (because the two of them were spotted at a gay bar together at the same time this rumor came out) and some said it was Taengsic (because months after the rumor came out they stopped talking to each other and people guess they have broken up) - Not really a gay rumor but so-called insiders said that Yoona gets asked out by more than 10 people almost every week, and she gets asked out by both males and females. Same goes with Jessica, who, as what we know, is VERY popular with the lesbians. -In 2011 The blind item about the Yuri, Son Ye Jin and Han Ye Seul started. Son Ye Jin got Yuri's number through Im Seulong who was with her in the drama "Personal Taste". Han Ye Seul was also said to be so into Yuri that she used her connections in the industry to score dates with her. Son Ye Jin flew to Japan and France just to see Yuri (SNSD were promoting at Japan that time and SM Town went to France for a concert) It was said that Yuri chose Son Ye Jin in the end which made Han Ye Seul so upset, in fact she was so heartbroken that she left for the US in the middle of filming her drama "Spy Myung Wool". Han Ye Seul's representatives said the reason why she left was because of poor working conditions but months after SportsSeoul released the blind item so people eventually connected the dots. -When SNSD went to Australia in 2011? 2012? Yuri and Jessica were spotted at a gay bar there. Those are the only ones that I can remember at the top of my head.

Moonbyuls case is really eyebrow raising cause 1.) Its an annual post shes done it for the last 3 years now. 2.) Only the first one mentioned "love is love" the others have been just her reminiscing about herself and relating to fans. Her struggles and trying to love herself and be a good person and even saying her and fans go through similar struggles. It feels less like a lgbt ally letter and more of a letter to herself and her gay fans in the closet that she can relate to us we're in this together. 3.) She posts it in the part of fancafe where it can be shared so everyone can see. Because their company banned fancafe posts to be shared but theres a part where the members can tall to fans where it can be shared and she posted it there. 4.) With her lingering gay rumors gossip she still did it. Even a day after the company suing lesbians that have been harrasing her and her sexuality and her being butch and the media twisting it to make her appear homophobic she wrote a letter on coming out day telling fans to not listen to the media and how shes there for us and things like that. 5.) The first letter was in 2017 when the hate she got on her sexuality and her butch appearance was at its peak. And all those trash twitter lesbians trying to out her and harrasing her to come out and calling her a hannam (trash korean man) butch. LE and her stylist is one of the most obvious wlw kpop relationship we got. I dont think anyone can deny they were un a relationship and velvet isnt a song about lesbian sex.

After Irene's friendship with Jennie was discovered, YG made Jennie change salons (Irene and Jennie went to the same salon, that is how they met) Just gay Mamamoo of course, this can also explain why Mamamoo became close to RV immediately since they do not care about rivalry SM did not want RV to interact with Mamamoo since they were from a small agency Twice's Mina Blackpink Lisa I don't know who this is but I've seen this rumor a couple of times. I was only into SNSD at the time, but there was a korean forum under the radar at the time who allegedly spilled all the tea on them GGs and BG until that solar/moonbyul paparazzi thing happened it was taken down for good and someone who worked for dispatch was one of the adms was fired and threatened(?) it was a mess From what I can vaguely remember it had SNSD taeyeon (the baekhyun thing), yuri (the thing with the two women interested in her) 4minute members except Jihyun, T-ara Hyomin (hooked up with boys and girls in the past). There was more but i really don't remember. Rumour has it 4M was seen at a gay club after cube united concert in 2011. Could be truth or not, it has been years after all. lol It is Yuri. I was at the first LChat thread when someone was translating it REALTIME. I even posted a screencap that when I search Son Ye Jin in Nate, Yuri's name (and some HYS) popped up. It proves that many are also searching it, and even the k-netz are typing their names, not just the initials. K-netizens and the translator at that time think it's just about Yuri-Son Ye Jin and HYS was just somehow caught in the rumor because there's no really connection found in HYS except that she had a breakdown. It's also true that after a week (or days, I forgot), the articles were removed. The searching recommendations(?) were also wiped out. It was also funny because only LChat and no other gossip sites knows about it at that time. It was really kept under wraps AT THAT TIME. When Yurisistables in soshified and twitter caught up, they banned and threaten (seriously) anyone who talks about it, explaining that it was a harmful rumour. We're also baffled when there's a picture of SYJ in a fanmeeting, it has a tag and obviously photographed by a Yuri fan, like they know (and accepting it?) something that we're not. I would also like to say that MANY were surprised when Hee-nim and DongHae are with SYJ in a picture. The issue died itself months later. There were (2?) fanaccounts of SYJ-Yuri date, not sure if true though. Also, conspiracy issues erupt in LChat because the threads, the entire board actually, were deleted. It was funny remembering it now, a new thread and hundred pages when I woke up because the previous soshi thread was deleted.
