usually when kpop idols say this i'm like because there's incidents like yooa's ramen lips and the fact that most of them are never gonna admit to surgery anyway but i could see this being true considering jiwoong looks pretty much identical to his predebut pics, his older brother looks identical too and i'm not sure if his past companies would've cared to invest in plastic surgery due to them all being pretty unknown and i'm sure lacking in money (just remembered as i was typing this that apparently he was an sm trainee for a time period that no one really knows when he was like 13 but that's it). anyways, i'm pretty sure he isn't lying but i'm just putting this here because, again, kpop idols mentioning never having surgery always gets an eyebrow raise out of me, i've never seen him discussed and now i'm kinda curious if anyone actually has any opposing thoughts

on August 21 SCANDAL celebrated their 17th anniversary, during the ceremony the band was awarded with a Guinness record after becoming the longest running girl band with the same members, the members founded SCANDAL in August of 2006 and have been active for 17 consecutive years releasing songs and touring the world, the record is definitely nice but i also feel the important part is rather how this is a celebration of the group's career, is hard to explain the huge impact they have on the J-Rock scene but to put it in simple terms they along ONE OK ROCK are the most influential J-bands of the past 20 years i became a fan of SCANDAL almost a decade ago so i'm obviously happy by this news, as a matter of fact they were the first Asian artist i followed and if i was forced to pick only the discography of a group if would have to be SCANDAL also it was Rina's 32th birthday! both her and SCANDAL share the same birthday Rina has been a member of SCANDAL for more than half of her life! let's hope for many more anniversaries with the group

The recent amount of a female's chest obsession here. It must be shocking that idols who are more endowed (for East Asian standards) may want to protect themselves through binding or supporting their chest through supported padded bras while performing because of people with twisted intentions. And if "caught" with a "smaller" chest that one time must mean they were lying the whole time about their size!

Hmmm, i definitely do think i was a bit quick with my judgement, i spent way too long looking at pictures of Hanbin after my post yesterday and basically came to the same conclusion, that his ears might just be elongated and attached weirdly. But idk, i still have doubts. I also want to remark that it's mostly what appears as his left ear in photos that has the weird elongation, his right ear doesn't seem to have it (or it's not as pronounced). So there is an unevenness there. The first picture used for the comparison was so convincing that i hastily agreed with OP on it, but something about that picture is off overall imo (compared to other photos of Hanbin, it might've been touched). I'm still not sure what i think, i think it looks like pixie ear in a lot of photos (although not as obvious as in the first example OP used), but then it doesn't in other photos. However, you guys surely make a great argument for him not having pixie ear so i can definitely see that being the case as well. If he doesn't, then that's a relief, getting a facelift at 20-21 is a bit rough.

Thank you for compiling! I never noticed the pixie deformity before, but now that you've pointed it out it's very obvious that he most likely had a facelift (agree on your speculation as to why as well, most likely due to a pretty drastic cheek reduction as this change is the most obvious one on his face imo). Really good catch with the philtrum distance. He's definitely done some subtle eye work, but it's a bit ambigious as to what. At first i thought he cut his outer corners as well, but these days i think he's just deepened his eyelid crease and that his eyes appear slightly bigger due to the reduction in the cheek area. No direct comparison picture from now because i was going crazy trying to find a photo of him showing his left side at a similar angle as the first pic asjfnjfjkabfj (he seems to favor his right side), so just posting what he looked like in july 2020 as i think it's a good picture to compare with + two pictures showing how his crease looks nowadays (clearly deeper compared to all other pre-debut photos i've seen): Edit: adding this photo from november 2020 as well I agree that he seems to look a bit more like his pre 2021 self these days (looking at his pre-debut content i think he got most of his work done in late 2020 or during 2021), i'm really curious to see if he'll go back and get filler again for ZB1's november comeback to recreate his Boys Planet face or if he'll maintain his face as it is now post-surgery without (obvious?) fillers throughout his time as ZB1. Like in this from their behind during music show promotions he looks so much like his old self (except the nose + cheek area):

The BTS members have always come off as friendly, kind, and down to earth to me, as a casual observer. So it's upsetting to see how horribly and publicly exploited they've become. They're used constantly and it's disgusting and jarring. And these are just the instances we are privy to. Seriously, I can't recall Psy, EXO,and Big Bang (actually TOP was horribly abused once at the worse time) being treated like this (I know, different levels but they were still hella popular). And the kpop community (outside of Army) just kind of shrugs it off when they aren't grinning because the guys are super successful and their fandom is...loud. it feels like it's time to, idk, give them some kindness or, at least, turn down the negativity some. And join the protest when they are bullied (I know Minho will ring my doorbell carrying a bag of cash and a cheesecake before this happens. ) This opinion might sound basic but put yourself in their shoes and really think about how you would feel to be used constantly. How do the offenses not add up and change or even distort you? Idk, it feels like we could be heading down another bad road and people don't care . They are humans.

stanning big bang in the year of 2022 is at least... odd. i will never understand how grown people have this weird obsessive attachment with whatever it is they were fans while growing up that even when it's proven the person who created it is a horrible human being (or in the case of bands, the people they were fans sucks) they'll continue to be blind fans for the sake of nostalgia. it's the same situation with harry potter, like, c'mon. grow UP! time to move on! in a world FILLED with artistic content everywhere, this insistence on stanning this ONE group/piece of media forever and riding this hard for people who are literally just bad people is sooo wild to me lmao why don't we spend our time supporting great art done by at least somewhat decent people? and don't even try to tell me something like harry potter is just that good that u just can't help but to defend jk rowling on the internet bc when you were 10 her books gave u comfort... girl! you're now 30! move on with ur life and expand ur tastes a tiny bit more lmao
