I remember someone requesting insight on Sung Hanbin's plastic surgery work, so here's my analysis. His appearance pre-Boys Planet and during Boys Planet are different. He lost weight from his dancing days to Boys Planet, so just keep that in mind. The shape of his ear is different, in the right picture it appears that he has a deformity known as the "pixie ear," which results from a face lift or neck lift. Since he's quite young, I would assume that this is from a face lift. I don't think he's had a jaw shave as his mandible angle pretty much looks the shame. I think he's had his cheekbones reduced significantly, so maybe that's the reason he got a facelift? I'm not so sure on why he got a facelift to be honest, but the pixie ear deformity is so striking to me. I think he's gotten a rhinoplasty, I mean, the projection of his nose and the shape of his nostrils is completely different. His nose was quite flat before. The distance from the base of his nose to the tip is completely different. Its sloped now. I also think he could have gotten a very mild lip lift, the distance between his nose and top lip is slightly smaller. Although, I'm not sure if him getting a nose job could give the illusion of such/affect the distance between his nose and lips? The first picture is quite low quality forgive me, but I also think he could have tweaked his eyes the slightest bit. They look more open, so perhaps he cut the outer corners. I'm somewhat unsure if he had his (double) eyelids toyed with but they do look bigger, or at the very least less hooded. Japan's Aichi Pref. to recognize same-sex, common-law couples with children as families That prefecture has over 7.5 million people, so even if you took a conservative estimate to how many people living there were same-sex couples, that's still a lot of people this can affect.

I think his last nosejob (whenever it was, I can't really remember) is settling more and he's gotten leaner over time. Both things contribute to his nose looking more pinched. I think he's gotten his nose done 2-3 times, but within the past year I don't think it's gotten redone, there just isn't much time for him to heal given TXT's schedule.

I never noticed the pixie deformity before, but now that you've pointed it out it's very obvious that he most likely had a facelift (agree on your speculation as to why as well, most likely due to a pretty drastic cheek reduction as this change is the most obvious one on his face imo). Really good catch with the philtrum distance. He's definitely done some subtle eye work, but it's a bit ambigious as to what. At first i thought he cut his outer corners as well, but these days i think he's just deepened his eyelid crease and that his eyes appear slightly bigger due to the reduction in the cheek area. No direct comparison picture from now because i was going crazy trying to find a photo of him showing his left side at a similar angle as the first pic asjfnjfjkabfj (he seems to favor his right side), so just posting what he looked like in july 2020 as i think it's a good picture to compare with + two pictures showing how his crease looks nowadays (clearly deeper compared to all other pre-debut photos i've seen): Edit: adding this photo from november 2020 as well I agree that he seems to look a bit more like his pre 2021 self these days (looking at his pre-debut content i think he got most of his work done in late 2020 or during 2021), i'm really curious to see if he'll go back and get filler again for ZB1's november comeback to recreate his Boys Planet face or if he'll maintain his face as it is now post-surgery without (obvious?) fillers throughout his time as ZB1. Like in this from their behind during music show promotions he looks so much like his old self (except the nose + cheek area):

today / tomorrow (since is already 29th in Japan) is ReoNa's 5th anniversary since becoming a singer! she is one of my favorites J-soloist, safe to say her decision to start a music career was the right choice so hoping for another 5 years more with her

idols probably wait way less than the recommended rest period after their procedures to re-start their daily activities because of their intense schedules, and they literally have to dance and practice everyday for a living. i wonder how much this influences and correlates to eventual irregularities, it's very sad

Welcome to the first round-up of Radio. As said by the end of each week, a host will endeavour to respond to questions and answers made during that week. Occasionally you might come across trivial rants on topics. I hope you enjoy the session. Radio host: @Lee Thank you for joining in for the first session of Radio. Earlier this week I asked users two questions, both for which responses were received (thank you!), and which I also seek to respond to today. So, to start — the first question I had asked was: Some of you did — which is awesome! Some of you may not have had the a chance to do so — and that's honestly fine too. I think we can agree that Barbie is, perhaps, one of the most overpromoted movies of this year. I saw many stores in my local shopping mall promote the movie by tying their products to the release of the film itself. For example, outside of the cinema I saw Barbie's logo appear on shirts and drinks (mostly smoothies). For myself, I have had the privilege to watch Barbie. Initially I had wanted to watch it on a Thursday, however I accepted an invitation to watch it with my family a day earlier — on a Wednesday. Where I live it's winter, and so on that particular day — because it was quite cold and windy — I remember wearing an overcoat and bringing it to the cinema. Similarly, there were many other moviegoers who had worn their puffer jackets. Sadly, I don't think I saw anyone wearing anything pink, although it might have different if I had gone to watch it on a weekend, and possibly if I went to a different cinema. I was running a bit late that day because earlier that morning I was cleaning. But fortunately, I made it there in time. On that day I snuck food into the cinema, and so I had enjoyed my breakfast while watching the film there. I enjoyed watching the film. I could sense from watching it the amount of time and preparation that was invested into their work. There were some good moments — some of which also being quite funny. Other times there were some obviously cliché moments. But overall I thought it was an interesting piece of work. I like the critique that it makes about how societies are organised across Barbieland and the Real World. For this event, some of the activities here have not been strictly based on the events of what happens in Barbie movie. Instead "Barbie" has been treated as merely a reference point. It seems to fit quite appropriately with other general areas of interest, such as K-pop. As such, having approached it in this way allows things to still be made interesting. Our next question was about your thoughts about this event. So far, so good! It feels reassuring at least from reading the responses that things are being enjoyed. It's nice to see that people are participating and trying to actively engage with the various activities. We hope to sustain your interest, and keep you entertained throughout. i feel like it was around thursdays child era when he last did something to his nose? i remember seeing him then and thinking that his nose and jaw especially looked so different. i think you're right it doesn't look like hes done anything to it within the past year, i rlly hope he doesnt do anything to it again since its more settled into his face now

Chaewon already has a v-line jaw but sometimes she edits her pictures to make her chin even more triangle like, pointy shape. I just hope she doesn't get a chin implant or filler. She is perfect the way she is right now.

Uncanny valley does not mean looking deformed beyond recognition. Uncanny valley is a feeling from seeing something or someone look human, act human, but there is just something off that cannot be described, only felt. When it’s a case of someone’s behavior that is off, it’s called a gut feeling. When it’s appearance based, it’s uncanny valley. So if people feel off but you don’t, it doesn’t mean they are misusing uncanny valley, it means you have a higher tolerance/they have lower tolerance. Feelings are not in a objective scale, it really depends on the person.

because karina isn't big chested and i find it so funny when i see comments like "omg what bra is she wearing to support them i need it !!" ... sometimes she wears padding and the difference is amazing, yet ppl would say that she wears compression bras or whatever when not even a binder would hide them like that. atp, she should just get implants, but i think her natural size is better, it's not like she's super flat anyway

they ALWAYS edit vivi until she’s barely recognizeable, her & hyunjin tend to look weirdly stiff in photo shoots but then once you see them in videos they look fine. like here they’ve been edited to the point where you can barely see hyunjins nose wouldn’t surprise me if vivi got her lips filled for the re-debut though

Is it just me or can you see the nose bridge implants from a head-on angle in this video interview of NewJeans? I see this weird line on each of their nose bridges except for Hyein ( understandably as she's the youngest so she doesn't appear to have any cosmetic work aside from the large veneers). What kind of lighting does this? I've been into kpop for 10 years now and I swear that I have never seen this--I am shocked! A picture where you can see what I'm talking about, look at the line down Hanni's nose. And this is apparent for 4/5 members in the group if you watch the video.

Man I hope Stayc's Seeun keeps her nose as is. She's mentioned her "big" nose being her main complex, but I think it'd be a tragedy to mess with her face because she's already so beautiful. Nose jobs seem so much easier to mess up compared to eyelid surgeries.

Idk when yall say idols are uncanny valley, i just dont see it. They look human but some looks like they’ve got stuffs done or looks botched but nevertheless still doesnt go the uncanny valley for me. What makes me think as uncanny valley is that russian barbie woman, but these idols look human to me.
