im a gay man so im absolutely have no insight to offer here lol but even i always assumed karina would wear fitted sports bras (or in rare instances, binders) for performances, and padded bras for other appearances like red carpets. and at the airport, she'd obviously be wearing her own bras. like, it's not a difficult concept to understand... just because her chest looks different from day to day doesnt mean she "got implants", she wears different supportive clothing based on her schedule and the circumstances. im not saying its impossible that female idols can get implants (because some have), but it's not that easy to just "get" implants. and like you said, the implication that some people make that asian girls cant possibly be anything other than flat chested is just low key racist. >_>

One thing I find ironic about Aespa is how the Korean line is pushed as the visuals, but the foreign line looks the most natural. All of them have work, sure. But Winter and Karina can verge into uncanny (especially Karina). Ningning and Giselle look like more refined versions of their predebut selves.

As an Asian born and raised girl who got her nose done as a teen, I have to say its just really regular and common among even non-celebrities to get work done before becoming an adult. Some parents even set funds aside for ther teens to get work done. Many girls in my high school would come to school with a plastic tape over their nose which they used after a nose job. Cant speak for everyone obv but among the majority its just not that moral issue which westerners think it is cause there is just so much cultural difference in that regards (but unlike American teens parents allowing them to date, dating in high school could be a problem for many Asian kids, lol) For the most part kids dont rly grow up regretting getting a nose job either. I have heard things like "I wish I chose a better doctor or asked for another model" but never "I wish i didnt do a nose job". It's probably both that and the fact that they seem to be desperately chasing plastic surgery trends. While cosmetic procedures are pretty much always a reflection of current trends I feel like in pre-Aespa generations there was at least an attempt to have each member look distinct and work with their individual features (at debut at least, what happens later on their careers is a different story). Either way I can't get over how different rookies look nowadays compared to ~10 years ago.

I feel like all of Itzy got something done in that big break between Cheshire and Cake. They're all looking way more worked on than ever before to me. Yeji's nose profile is looking tweaked to me? I'm always on the fence about the '"four members sing the chorus" schtick in some of SNSD's songs. On the one hand, it isn't the whole group so I guess it counts as lines but on the other hand it kinda feels like a copout. And you know, gotta acknowledge the fact that other group fandoms, like Onces (especially Jeongyeon stans) would NOT accept that shit as compensation lmao.

This a lie. Fans actually like the set photocards. They have a lot of photocards because they are a large group. They have 5 random photocards for each member, same for Red Velvet and Itzy (5 random per member, Itzy also have set photocards unlike RV). TWICE also have set photocards, which aren't random, so every fan will receive the same photocards without having to purchase more of the albums. So it's 15 photocards per album (10 set photocards of each members + group & 5 random photocards).
