Who is clowning you? Yes it is, anyone who binds should know this. You shouldn't bind for more than 8 hours (which in this context Karina probably wouldn't be, but some idol schedules do definitely last that long) and heavier excercise and/or more intensive physical labor shouldn't be done in very compressed chest binders. Its also very easy to bind in a way that can be very detrimental to you. Anyone thinking about binding please remember to always bind with your nipples angled upwards, not downwards! I think people who are not trans/baby trans or who do not bind daily are much less likely to know this and accidentally damage their collarbones.

an add on: Also very important, even though it is depicted in media quite often, do not bind with bandages! proper binders have gotten a lot more accessible, it should be easy to get them, especially from the internet. That being said, they should also fit you right, as in they shouldn't be too tight, and you should be easily be able to breathe in them.

i find that filled cheeks or a clearly done nose is never the thing making someone look uncanny. i always find the eyes to be the defining trait. if they're opened too much (idk the procedure), it can look frightening and weirdly not-human, which i associate w 'uncanny' – this is why i also found eunseok slightly uncanny; his eyes, like txt taehyun's, are just open in a way that feels unnatural.

Even though I get what you’re saying, people can look uncanny valley without the weird proportions, there are idols that to me look uncanny valley ? There are( and I’ll not say their names cause I think it’s rude) but sometimes this forum thinks that anyone with certain level of ps looks uncanny valley, it’s complicated to say the least, because I feel a mean spirited nature in some comments around here, but at the same time it can all be perspective, maybe I’m more accustomed to seeing faces with ps so I don’t think anything about it and maybe other people are not that familiar with that or maybe they just don’t like the look ? What’s uncanny valley to me maybe it’s not for you, but, again, I can’t negate that sometimes this type of term seems to be used just to blow someone’s appearance or slightly shame the amount of ps that the person did.

When it was announced that aespa would perform there many fans expressed concern about the potential sexualization of Karina's body/breasts (which is an issue that probably concerns her and her team quite a lot). It's very obvious that they tried to bind down her chest for that schedule.so yea. they probably did all that to hide her breast

Well, she'd already had a jaw shave in 2014, which is considered Wendy's prime (visuals-wise), so we shouldn't blame that for ruining her look. I think she removed her buccal fat removal around 2015 and that caused her face to look so different

because karina isn't big chested and i find it so funny when i see comments like "omg what bra is she wearing to support them i need it !!" ... sometimes she wears padding and the difference is amazing, yet ppl would say that she wears compression bras or whatever when not even a binder would hide them like that. atp, she should just get implants, but i think her natural size is better, it's not like she's super flat anyway

Sm is so interesting to me because I can never really tell to what extent their idols are forced to go under the knife. You have idols like Chenle who claims to not have gotten anything done and there’s idols like Kai and Haechan who probably only had a few procedures. They stand in contrast to the “sm look”. Common sense tells me that idols can just turn down requests for ps but looking at how far some idols go I just can’t buy that external pressure wasn’t a part of that. I wouldn’t put it past sm to mistreat idols who refuse ps. Chenle is currently getting zero promo and I wouldn’t be surprised if him being Chinese wasn’t the only reason.
