I’ve always wondered to what extent these idols parents know or are involved in their kids ps. I know in Korea ps is quite common where even some regular people are getting it but isn’t there a limit? In my mind I’m imagining them being okay with a finessed nose job and some eye work but when it comes to bone work I just can’t wrap my head around it. I wouldn’t be surprised if for at least some idols who are of age hide or don’t mention some of the things they get done, this goes double for international parents who don’t get to see their kids that often.

It's a known fact that Yoongi knew Adora and June for a long time, possibly longer than Yijeong and yet you can see that he's way closer with Yijeong. He was also the only one Yoongi introduced this way. El Capitxn was also a guest on Yoongi's Apple Music Radio and the episode is finally subbed (Yijeong enters at 7:20). What's more, Yijeong retweeted and liked a video of him & Yoongi yesterday. He liked videos of Yoongi's hands before and honestly even BTS members Yoongi is close to don't post or like photos and videos of Yoongi as much. And one more thing I've just realized: Yoongi added Dear My Friend to the setlist for the Final and it's one of two songs that were chosen by Yijeong as his favorite productions he did with Yoongi. Of course it might be coincidence too because the song was one of the most liked among K-fans so there's a chance that Yoongi heard about this. If you look on twitter there are many threads proving his innocence. Based on the evidence and the contradictions that other users pointed out I think he's most likely innocent but you can choose not to belive that if you dont want to

The "evidence" was suspect because the Facebook layout in the screenshots of the alleged comments did not match up with what it should have been based on when they were said to be made. That plus the timestamps for the comments did not have the dates and just the "3h ago" thing. Either someone who knew him took screenshots at the time and sat on them to use them against him later (which is weird since he wasn't even a trainee), or someone made a fake profile and staged the whole thing (given the inconsistencies, likely).

they ALWAYS edit vivi until she’s barely recognizeable, her & hyunjin tend to look weirdly stiff in photo shoots but then once you see them in videos they look fine. like here they’ve been edited to the point where you can barely see hyunjins nose wouldn’t surprise me if vivi got her lips filled for the re-debut though

Idols during the 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen used to get plastic surgery little by little trough out their careers. This way the public couldn’t catch up on them until they were already 7 years into their careers which meant that at that point it would be a bit “ridiculous” to complain about it. This however was during a time where idols were allowed to have “awkward” visuals the first few years of their careers. Nowadays however, people expect idols to debut with the same visuals that took 1st till 3rd gen, 7 years to achieve. That’s why companies (like SM and HYBE) been giving their rookie idols all these obvious surgical enhancements. They probably also know that fans will defend these idols till death as most of these surgeries were done before debut and as most idols nowadays are underage or barely of age it could be perfectly disguised as “puberty”.

I think its a bit of a grower compared to the last few releases. I'm excited for the mini album though

the instrumental is so cunty, and the overall vibe is right up my alley (it's a million times better than whatever girl gang was). + the visuals slay as usual, SM needs to steal whoever's in charge of that for aespa.... as mentioned above the lyrics are very corny, but I doubt that will ever improve so we move!

The visuals are on point, as usual. Unfortunately, the lyrics make me feel like they raided Urban Dictionary and Twitter for all the slang they could find, no matter if it was out of date or not. The music is just there. There's no build-up or stand-out moment. Very monotonous. Both pre-releases musically have disappointed me so far, and now I'm worried about the rest of the mini.

I went to check out SM's new boy group, and I know SM hasn't been subtle with their surgical enhancements for a while now but man... SM idols used to have incredible glow ups due to very small, but effective changes to their look. Where did that subtlety go? Also: me when I lie

I don't think there are any changes besides the brow shape. The jaw shape fluctuation might be easily attributed to the change of camera lens, which makes sense bc she's a YouTuber. Updating the filming equipment is a crucial part of their job

Taking a short break from my current analysis series to post this gem of a video for everyone who is into the history of plastic surgery: Turns out fillers, nose jobs and jowl fat removal were already a thing over a hundred years ago, and not just for reconstructive but actual cosmetic purposes as well. Closed nose jobs and jowl fat removal through incisions on the inside of the mouth to reduce visible scarring are essentially still performed the same way today. And using wax as injectives kinda blew my mind.

I know I've seen them mentioned a few times here (not as much as the other Loona members) but did Heejin, Hyunjin, and Yeojin have any work done considering I see a lot of people say their natural

The bottom side-by-side pictures especially show the difference. If you cover the top half of her face (if you're on mobile, simply scroll the page so it's covered), the lower half of her mouth looks like two different people's. It's quite stark. In the first side-by-side, her face looks kind of... taut in the right one, almost like it was pulled or stretched back. Is it just a lot of Botox (plus filler?) that creates that effect? Sidetracking a bit; I remember the first time I saw an idol's face (j-hope, pics below) looking very tight, I didn't really know much about plastic surgery back then and I just kept thinking "Why does he look so weird? What happened? Why is his face pulled like that?? Why is no one talking about this??" lol

i would say karina's eye cutting she did this year because her face changed drastically.i also think she got buccal fat removal because her cheeks are less puffy than before( its not weight loss). before: after:

wow this thread used to be so active i could barely keep up...thought i'd post since i rarely do and this was an unexpected procedure i thought i'd never see oh my girl's yubin got her lips plumped! im a stan and i closely monitor the group's every schedule and activity so i immediately noticed. it doesnt help that her 2 fansites edit the hell out of her face but, the first (from left to right) was 230512 and the second was 230516, then the third/last was on 230527. i noticed immediately on that second day, and every fanpic thereafter, her lips and lower half of her face looked really diff. mind you, i look at omgeol everyday! and when i saw that her fillers were noticeable in the comeback teaser's then it lowkey revealed when they started shooting those pics lol since i could date them based on yubin's fansite pics and appearances an unedited iphone fanpic from 230711: and here are side by sides of her in 2023 before may vs during may-now: (left = pre may; right = may onward) ---------- more pics post filler in spoiler in case you still wanna see how she looks recently: i cant help but assume that the frequent use of filler by yooa and mimi (and minor use by arin) may have eased yubin into making the decision since (as far as i know) yubin has never gotten anything but praise for her visual since debut! especially in the past two years when she grew out her bangs and let go of the bob, she's been blooming visually! but in terms of like the "why?" since she def didnt need it and wasn't really ever talked down for her visuals, i feel like she may have just wanted a change for the comeback! (which btw it still boggles me how idols can be like "ooh lets change my "look" surgically (or non surgically, just speaking in general here) for this promotion period!" nothing wrong since its their body, im just saying its crazy that that's an option for us humans to do~) people also often say she resembles seventeen's joshua! as a stan, im aware that yubin's has been one of, if not THE LEAST, popular member of oh my girl, at least in terms of hype, popularity, followers, articles, etc. but since this year, and especially these past couple of weeks, she has been getting so much praise for her visuals on twitter and for like the first time, the likes for HER teaser pics for the comeback surpassed arin and yooa's (the group's most popular members, esp on twitter). so im sure she is loving the attention and i think she is happy with the change which is great! i can tell she has been a bit more confident too with the amount of posts, tiktoks, and selfies with her lips being a focal point lol: anyway, i sometimes feel like i cant express myself well in words so to reiterate: this isnt a hate post. i love my girl! just was so shocked to see this change since she is the last idol i expect to touch anything bc she looks practically flawless imo. tbh it was a bit jarring when i first was seeing it in may but like most idol's visual changes, i got used to it and think it actually looks not too bad on her! curious to hear your thoughts! and i had a lot of fun making this long post lmao. reminded me of the old days of lurking on onehallyu back in 2016~

i don't remember the consensus about eunwoo but looking at his past photos and present... i think one of the main 'refining' minimal changes done was honestly an epicanthoplasty; his inner corners are way more visible, sharper and wider/longer. his eyes look elongated as a result and his proportions look more "balanced" and "harmonic". it's done VERY tastefully, very naturally, but i find it rather clear when comparing his earlier photos to more current. i know there's the stuff w his jaw and masseter muscle, but when looking past that he still looks different overall. and i think it's his inner eye corners doing the work.

(1st pic: as a trainee, 2nd pic: before becoming a trainee. fullsize of the bottom image/gif) I don't know enough to name exact things but I'd think he made the base of his nose narrower and the profile taller: the tip is different and it's unfortunately kind of uneven. The flatter/square chin is gone. Clear lip filler as well but I mean every idol's done that at this point. Don't really know about the jaw area...some pics it looks softened, some not so much. Maybe he didn't touch it; it just looks softer because of the changes made to the chin. I think he kept his eyes largely natural. The nose stuff is particularly apparent here... is it contouring or is there some sort of implant in there that's crooked in the second/third pics?!
