The bottom side-by-side pictures especially show the difference. If you cover the top half of her face (if you're on mobile, simply scroll the page so it's covered), the lower half of her mouth looks like two different people's. It's quite stark. In the first side-by-side, her face looks kind of... taut in the right one, almost like it was pulled or stretched back. Is it just a lot of Botox (plus filler?) that creates that effect? Sidetracking a bit; I remember the first time I saw an idol's face (j-hope, pics below) looking very tight, I didn't really know much about plastic surgery back then and I just kept thinking "Why does he look so weird? What happened? Why is his face pulled like that?? Why is no one talking about this??" lol

I saw a TikTok yesterday that compared EXO's photos from 2013 and 2023, and the changes are really subtle. Mostly small eye tweaks, like epicanthoplasty, and fillers. Probably some nose refinements as well but it was hard to tell from the angle and the quality of the pictures. I'd say they got most of their work done pre-debut and judging by Baekhyun's or Chinese line's pre-debut pictures there was a LOT of it Someone here has to have a full list already or the free time to analyze all of the members

I would love a follow up, they are my favorite group and I’ve tried to look up people commenting about their procedures but there’s not much( most of the analysis are kinda old too) I’m rather curious because as you said they didn’t really changed that much or at least doesn’t feel like at first glance

wonyoung's before after side by side comparison is kinda crazy. i hate when others say that because an idol is young, its impossible for them to undergo surgery.... even leeseo the 14-15yo has gotten some tweaks (though she was always pretty): im gonna say she got her inner and outer corners of her eyes cut, double eyelid deepening, nose implant, lip filler, cheek filler, botox to the mouth area, and either she got a mini v-line jaw procedure or like botox to the jaw cuz it looks completely different. i think she's happy with the results and she knows she's pretty.

I rose up from the dead only to post this about WooSan from Ateez. The scene starts at around 2:10. Wooyoung starts dancing "sexily" and goes member to member to include them in his dance, grinding on them etc, but he skips San. As an avid believer that WooSan definitely has something actually going on, this left me quite interested. The explanation I came up with is Wooyoung knowing that San would be actually "into it", or maybe he just felt shy to do it with San. They've done worse things on camera to be fair. Anyway, what do others think? I know I am quite biased.

I don't remember if she was super active between the time IZ*ONE disbanded and IVE debuted, but she did have a long break when the Produce rigging scandal happened. Like the entire group laid low for months so it wouldn't surprise me that she (and some other IZ*ONE members) had something tweaked up during that time. I hope every idol who had works done would be given appropriate time to rest.

I dont hate them but I am soooooo over kpop and their fake sales. Would it kill them to be transparent about the actual status of their career? This "let's pretend every random big 3 company kpop act is selling numbers and getting number ones" is a false achievement at this point and has no merit to it as it did in the past when sales were authentic. Fake success means you were never meant to "make it" imo. Thats why kpop stars dont leave a legacy behind them and fade away fast. The Real legends achieve success on their own. MJ, Madonna, and Prince didn't need to fake it! Whoever is investing in them must see the BS at this point. This is their version of payola

I know, right? It’s so refreshing to see that they don’t care about the public’s opinion and they find a way to even show more their bond and how special they are for eo. I found kinda funny how people (myself included tbh) thought they will stop after all the daily hate both get :(,:but they simply don’t care and somehow got bolder every time and I love that for them. Also the sandwich photo next to the selfie, Hanbin knew what he was doing with that post.

Doing my part to revive this thread, since I used to be quite active for a bit but then keeping up with most groups became too tiresome: Does anyone else think that the Exo members' faces stayed surprisingly constistent over the years and their procedures quite subtle compared to other SM senior artists? In honor of their recent comeback I fell down the rabbit hole again and rewatched a bunch of their old MVs for the first time in a while and it seems the most defining changes happened either predebut or during their first two years. Like I realized that Chen actually debuted with his original square jaw and only seemed to have his eyes done at debut (shame about the jaw, double eyelids alone already made him look enough like an idol) and Suho's nose job around Overdose was surprisingly obvious. Like I knew that happened but in direct comparison it kinda caught me off guard. Not that they didn't get anything else done over the course of their careers (some members *cough*Suho*cough* do tend to look a bit waxy at times), but compared to like, Taeyeon who was just mentioned I think they still look rather fresh and had genuinely good work done. This is not a dig at Taeyeon btw, she's my ultimate bias but by getting rid of most of her bone structure she manages to look somehow 16 and 40 at the same time imo. I just hope the need to look perfect doesn't get to the Exo members as they age and they keep their touch ups subtle. Might do a follow up post about the members if I feel like it, we haven't had one in many years.

To revive this thread, do you guys wanna share which recent procedure shocked or surprised you the most? (You may interpret 'recent' as you like, I'm thinking maybe in the past year or so.) I myself am still sad about Hwasa's boob job! She looks really good now, granted, and her current boob size fits her frame. She also seems very happy with the results. But damn I miss her pear shaped body with the little tiddies. She looked absolutely divine. Additionally, it felt good to see my own body type represented on one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. Her shape was just so charming and unique to me. During "I'm a 빛" promotions she was very skinny which kind of made her pear-shape even more evident (I've even suspected she went for the implants because during this promotion, she lost a lot of weight from her chest, too). I do kind of understand how she might have felt that bigger boobs would "balance" her frame, and ultimately only her opinion and experience matters. Doesn't stop me from missing this Hwasa, though.

wow this thread used to be so active i could barely keep up...thought i'd post since i rarely do and this was an unexpected procedure i thought i'd never see oh my girl's yubin got her lips plumped! im a stan and i closely monitor the group's every schedule and activity so i immediately noticed. it doesnt help that her 2 fansites edit the hell out of her face but, the first (from left to right) was 230512 and the second was 230516, then the third/last was on 230527. i noticed immediately on that second day, and every fanpic thereafter, her lips and lower half of her face looked really diff. mind you, i look at omgeol everyday! and when i saw that her fillers were noticeable in the comeback teaser's then it lowkey revealed when they started shooting those pics lol since i could date them based on yubin's fansite pics and appearances an unedited iphone fanpic from 230711: and here are side by sides of her in 2023 before may vs during may-now: (left = pre may; right = may onward) ---------- more pics post filler in spoiler in case you still wanna see how she looks recently: i cant help but assume that the frequent use of filler by yooa and mimi (and minor use by arin) may have eased yubin into making the decision since (as far as i know) yubin has never gotten anything but praise for her visual since debut! especially in the past two years when she grew out her bangs and let go of the bob, she's been blooming visually! but in terms of like the "why?" since she def didnt need it and wasn't really ever talked down for her visuals, i feel like she may have just wanted a change for the comeback! (which btw it still boggles me how idols can be like "ooh lets change my "look" surgically (or non surgically, just speaking in general here) for this promotion period!" nothing wrong since its their body, im just saying its crazy that that's an option for us humans to do~) people also often say she resembles seventeen's joshua! as a stan, im aware that yubin's has been one of, if not THE LEAST, popular member of oh my girl, at least in terms of hype, popularity, followers, articles, etc. but since this year, and especially these past couple of weeks, she has been getting so much praise for her visuals on twitter and for like the first time, the likes for HER teaser pics for the comeback surpassed arin and yooa's (the group's most popular members, esp on twitter). so im sure she is loving the attention and i think she is happy with the change which is great! i can tell she has been a bit more confident too with the amount of posts, tiktoks, and selfies with her lips being a focal point lol: anyway, i sometimes feel like i cant express myself well in words so to reiterate: this isnt a hate post. i love my girl! just was so shocked to see this change since she is the last idol i expect to touch anything bc she looks practically flawless imo. tbh it was a bit jarring when i first was seeing it in may but like most idol's visual changes, i got used to it and think it actually looks not too bad on her! curious to hear your thoughts! and i had a lot of fun making this long post lmao. reminded me of the old days of lurking on onehallyu back in 2016~
