wow this thread used to be so active i could barely keep up...thought i'd post since i rarely do and this was an unexpected procedure i thought i'd never see oh my girl's yubin got her lips plumped! im a stan and i closely monitor the group's every schedule and activity so i immediately noticed. it doesnt help that her 2 fansites edit the hell out of her face but, the first (from left to right) was 230512 and the second was 230516, then the third/last was on 230527. i noticed immediately on that second day, and every fanpic thereafter, her lips and lower half of her face looked really diff. mind you, i look at omgeol everyday! and when i saw that her fillers were noticeable in the comeback teaser's then it lowkey revealed when they started shooting those pics lol since i could date them based on yubin's fansite pics and appearances an unedited iphone fanpic from 230711: and here are side by sides of her in 2023 before may vs during may-now: (left = pre may; right = may onward) ---------- more pics post filler in spoiler in case you still wanna see how she looks recently: i cant help but assume that the frequent use of filler by yooa and mimi (and minor use by arin) may have eased yubin into making the decision since (as far as i know) yubin has never gotten anything but praise for her visual since debut! especially in the past two years when she grew out her bangs and let go of the bob, she's been blooming visually! but in terms of like the "why?" since she def didnt need it and wasn't really ever talked down for her visuals, i feel like she may have just wanted a change for the comeback! (which btw it still boggles me how idols can be like "ooh lets change my "look" surgically (or non surgically, just speaking in general here) for this promotion period!" nothing wrong since its their body, im just saying its crazy that that's an option for us humans to do~) people also often say she resembles seventeen's joshua! as a stan, im aware that yubin's has been one of, if not THE LEAST, popular member of oh my girl, at least in terms of hype, popularity, followers, articles, etc. but since this year, and especially these past couple of weeks, she has been getting so much praise for her visuals on twitter and for like the first time, the likes for HER teaser pics for the comeback surpassed arin and yooa's (the group's most popular members, esp on twitter). so im sure she is loving the attention and i think she is happy with the change which is great! i can tell she has been a bit more confident too with the amount of posts, tiktoks, and selfies with her lips being a focal point lol: anyway, i sometimes feel like i cant express myself well in words so to reiterate: this isnt a hate post. i love my girl! just was so shocked to see this change since she is the last idol i expect to touch anything bc she looks practically flawless imo. tbh it was a bit jarring when i first was seeing it in may but like most idol's visual changes, i got used to it and think it actually looks not too bad on her! curious to hear your thoughts! and i had a lot of fun making this long post lmao. reminded me of the old days of lurking on onehallyu back in 2016~7 points

[Theqoo] Knetz praising EXO's vocal ability in their newest Killing Voice video - Their live singing is insane. - There are no songs that i don't know. EXO is seriously the youth of a lot of people. - They did this in one take and left. - This is my first time hearing EXO singing and they're good tho. - Give me more, it's too short ㅠㅠ - EXO should do it for an hour. - Please make another one for the b-side tracks. - So EXO actually have a lot of hit songs. I'm not their fan but i know most of those songs. - Wow ... the main vocalists are seriously good at singing. - Give me part 2. - How come they sing Cream Soda so easily? - Wow I know all of EXO's songs. - I wanted to listen to the acapella part of Tempo tho.. it's a pity it's not there. - The level of their vocals is so high class. - 20 minutes passed really quick tho, I was surprised ㅋㅋ the members that I thought would have weak vocals are actually so good at singing as well ㅋㅋ EXO is good at singing and the combination of their vocals is also good. - You're telling me that MAMA is actually this good...? their harmonization is insane. - They're so good at singing... their vocals are really sharp. Even if it's not the main vocalists (the main vocalists are obviously good), the stability of the sub vocalists is also amazing. - Their live singing is the best. They are all, no exceptions, good at singing. - Baekhyun is seriously good at singing ... the 3 main vocalists are killing it. - Appear one more time for the B-side, one more time for winter album, include Tempo ... I want them to also appear and sing for their OSTs separately. - Chen in Monster is insane. - Baekhyun is so dope...he's a powerful main vocalist and a powerful idol. - D.O. is seriously good at singing ㅠㅠ source EXIST the 7th full album: Apple Music/iTunes - Spotify - Youtube Music - Amazon Music - Deezer - Tidal - Melon - FLO - Genie - Naver Vibe - Bugs Music3 points

I was crying so much reading the news this morning. I’ve been following them and peco since they first started dating. I remember when they announced they were getting married, when they opened their fashion brand together, when they announced they were having their child. Them and Peco were always the ultimate couple goals to me, you could always tell just how much they loved and meant to each other. If true love exists I honestly feel like it was whatever they had. (I also would like to say on a side note: although they and Peco divorced it doesn’t look like they actually broke up/separated. They did clarify they still lived together and chose to remain “life partners” and a family. Husband and wife were just no longer accurate terms that defined them.) Ryuchell was pretty much the only Japanese Internet personality I ever came across that advocated for the LGBT+ community and I loved and respected them so much for that. Even in the early days of their popularity with Peco they were open about being Bi and never cared about gender roles. They loved makeup and before they transitioned they were the first (and possibly only???) male Japanese internet celebrity to be an endorser for a big makeup brand (It was an overseas brand, I think either Mac or NYX?). I fully supported them transitioning and they didn’t deserve any of the hate and attacks they got for it. RIP Ryuchell, I’m really sorry the world and the internet is such a terrible place. My heart goes out to Peco and Link right now, especially Link because if I’m reading the timing correctly Ryuchell passed the morning after their son’s birthday…3 points

Cool. This is the kind of representation I'd expect from a straight guy tbh, we know they're more comfortable (although not always for the best reasons) with lesbian couples than with male gay couples. But I swear armys want so badly to call Jungkook a supporter, it looks like they're overcompensating since he performed for the World Cup in Qatar. Edit : Not the Jikookers and Vkookers who lurk there clowning me. We're in the year of 2023, it's time to accept your ships aren't real.2 points

Her lips definitely got the got stung by bee -look at the moment in some of these pics. I personally dont understand the trend to make upper lip same size as your bottom lip. When it's not natural it can lead to looking bit odd. She definitely didnt need the lip fillers! But it doesnt look too bad on her and if she wont keep filling it over and over and i think it will probably look good2 points

EXIST the 7th full album: Apple Music/iTunes - Spotify - Youtube Music - Amazon Music - Deezer - Tidal - Melon - FLO - Genie - Naver Vibe - Bugs Music [Theqoo] Knetz reaction to EXO's Cream Soda MV - How am I supposed to sing the song? - Wow the song is so high. - I wanna see the live version. - The song is good but it seems like it's hard. - EXO members vocal tone is a fraud. - The song is my style. I love it. I also like the fireworks logo. - The 3 main vocalists of EXO are amazing. They are so good at singing. - It's the song that i wanna listen to its encore stage. - So, in EXO, there are a lot of members who have good vocal tone. - The song is so refreshing and good... The vocals are exhilarating. - The song is good as the track is progressing... - The song sounds so expensive ... it suits the season. - It's so good. It's a pity that there's no Kai.. - The song is high. - EXO's vocals are dope. source2 points

Girl first of fucking all I never said they deserve to live in squalor.. fix ya comprehension before u type towards me, it's simple understanding persons actually SUFFERED and were treated like shit (something I've always been vocal about when it comes to these companies) whilst fifty fifty literally had to go through NONE of that. The issue here is 50/50 who were treated decently as ALL these artists should be ended up spitting in this man's face. How do u think that equates in the future for others? To the point koreans are begging this guy not to change because of how much SHIT ASS ceos they are who treat artists like barn animals? Okay. Number 2 fifty fifty is a newly debuted group if what they wanted was transparency as to the breakdown of costs for them (i.e. clothing, housing, food, English lessons, mv cost, production cost, song cost, etc..) alongside reference with how much their ONE song which hit it big (also thanks to the ceo who paid for ads on various social media platforms) that would be the fine... but the fact you're suing this guy over literally nothing, after all this guy done did call a spade a fucking spade. do u know how much fucking money a MUSIC VIDEO in kpop alone costs? Let alone choreography? SME is a shit company but keep in mind EXO who had hits didn't pay off their training fees, music video fees, choreography fees, etc.. till 2 or so years AND compare the popularity, endorsements, etc.. 12 members had to 50/50... girl.. I stand by what the fuck I said. Karma will get them. Gtfo my face. I feel alot of yall be smoking Crack. Right is right and wrong is wrong, company or individual.2 points

other people quoting some more superficial things but honestly it’s how connected he is with the gay community in his personal life. take a look at his close friend group and they are all connected, with many of them openly out; fashion brand owners, cafe owners, restaurant owners, drag queens, stylists, hair stylists, etc. (by the way his supposed bf is close friends with an openly gay tiktoker who went over to key’s place for dinner wishing “happy 1000 days” but that is for another day…) gay rumors since he was a rookie, sightings at gay clubs/bars since he was of age. general consensus on queer k-twitter that he is gay and they’ve heard stories about him. love and support for queer media, spaces, and icons. look at the places that he actually goes to. look further and you see that they are owned by queer people themselves. what shawols show you https://www.instagram.com/p/CuGsIU2p8WM/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== the restaurant this but for all of his career. just a recent example. honestly that is all that is needed to me. idk why people think that there aren’t gay korean people out here living their lives because i see his friends doing just that. i find it funny when people are like convince me key is gay because you need convincing? just look at his personal life. how did i make this longer than i intended idk anyway im not here to convince anyone i just couldn’t let this turn into a superficial he covered a song with male pronouns and wore pride shoes! thing. sincerely, person who has been up kibum’s ass for over 10 years.2 points

so that's what happened?.. i had no idea. probably because i never watched the last episode nor caught up with the cast other than follow their instagrams. i did notice all the comments saying they thought he publicly called out hyeokjun but i didn't know it was about cheating.. i also don't know what the video means in spite of that but i saw it recommended to me.. not sure the intention of the video so the video is from a his man s1 contestant which is a gay dating realty show in korea. i'm not actually sure what the video is the start of but thought i'd share it anyways, i know some ppl here watch the show1 point

Saying they need to literally get exiled is so extreme, like ya'll are taking this too serious. Also, sorry its abnormal to support a CEO this much. We don't really know all he does behind closed doors. All we know are biased articles that paint him in a positive light. Be serious1 point

I’m not defending anyone’s actions here, but please re-read what you just wrote. You (and all these netizens) are saying all rookies should expect to live in squalor, without any sort of payment even though they break their backs day and night, sometimes not even being able to afford food or a hot bath…All go this because the industry has made it so that this treatment is expected of a rookie; as if it’s a rite they all have to go through. Even if they actually manage to do well during their rookie years. Just because a lot of groups had to go through this, it doesn’t mean it’s right. I commend the CEO for being a moral person – which is a rarity, but idols have a right to expect a salary that does not only go towards paying their debts back, even if they never make it big. We don’t even know if the group was manipulated or even coerced; we don’t have the right information yet. On the contrary, instead of pointing fingers at a group who is likely the party with the least control in this whole debacle, we should be asking ourselves why people are choosing to push the blame onto them as much as the producers who are the puppeteers here. Even if turns out they acted out of greed (if wanting to be paid can be called greed), they’re still the ones whose lives and careers and reputations will be ruined at the end of all of this. We all complain about the treatment trainees and rookies from smaller companies go through, but it seems people forgot about it because these girls wanted a fair share for their work. Apparently their image and labor can be used against them, but they’re not allowed to even want to use it for their own livelihoods. I want you all to work your youth away without any formal education, without expecting payment, and while accumulating debt, and then you can fairly say these girls should expect the same treatment.1 point

They can't even speak the same language? A typical koreaboo love story.1 point

I agree about Key being pretty obvious (the the extent that he can be) but I don't agree about the dating rumours as nearly all male idols have dating rumours with the opposite sex. I don't think that has any bearing on their sexuality because people nearly always assume someone is straight. Also, many gay people do date members of the opposite sex before realising they are gay/ to cover it up. Not to mention that genuine interest in women doesn't preclude someone from liking men too.1 point

deserved tbh, they should have just sat there and ate their food1 point

I don’t understand their thought process behind their self sabotage. They were only one song famous, had a shaky fandom foundation, no solid Korean fan base to go to bat for them and no recognisability as individuals, yet they decided to throw everything away by biting the hand that fed them. The more information we get, the more I feel bad for their CEO and frustrated at the girls for having it relatively easy and messing it all up.1 point

He isn't fluent in English and she doesn't know Korean let alone read hangul...Body language possibly? Best of luck1 point

I think they both speak English which is their common language? In all seriousness though, They are currently with her family in Italy, though he doesn’t speak Italian so he would be isolated. I’m most likely guessing that they will be moving to his home in Korea to raise the kid? But as it was said a few months ago she can’t speak Korean and he has to hire a translator to follow her around. Unless they are both willing to put in the work this is going to be a tough ride.1 point

in the new zb1 video, the members had to do things in order to try make the others laugh and hao imitated hanbin's "call me mother" dance, as well as some other old choreography of his, and now he's gotten a lot of hate from the korean side, which is stupid because these people think he's ruining hanbin's reputation or being rude to him but right after he imitated him hanbin said "you need to do it more". an example is i saw a burner account with hundreds of retweets basically saying something like "do you want to do this when your past is dirtier?" (the past in question being all hao's old weibo stuff) and it just makes me sad. i hope the members, but especially hanbin and hao, don't start to hold back after this because it's all just really homophobic0 points

Ok, here it is in apples and oranges to make it easier for you. 1:I didn't say the CEO deserves what he is going through if the information we have is correct. I made it perfectly clear that the greater assholes here are The Givers. 2: You're saying 50/50 had it good, so they had no right to want to be paid, same damn difference. What makes you think employees have no right to transpaency form their bosses? Or the right to know how much money they're making off of their work? 3: I also said that we don't have all the information, so you're jumping the gun by putting them in the same place as the producer. It doesn't fucking matter how much producing shit costs. These idols are basically slaves for years, and as workers, they deserve wages from the get go. As simple as that. Kpop being an abusing industry and normalizing all the shit they do is no excuse. Looks like the one who needs better reading comprehension is you. Brown nose.0 points
