  1. I’m not defending anyone’s actions here, but please re-read what you just wrote. You (and all these netizens) are saying all rookies should expect to live in squalor, without any sort of payment even though they break their backs day and night, sometimes not even being able to afford food or a hot bath…All go this because the industry has made it so that this treatment is expected of a rookie; as if it’s a rite they all have to go through. Even if they actually manage to do well during their rookie years. Just because a lot of groups had to go through this, it doesn’t mean it’s right. I commend the CEO for being a moral person – which is a rarity, but idols have a right to expect a salary that does not only go towards paying their debts back, even if they never make it big. We don’t even know if the group was manipulated or even coerced; we don’t have the right information yet. On the contrary, instead of pointing fingers at a group who is likely the party with the least control in this whole debacle, we should be asking ourselves why people are choosing to push the blame onto them as much as the producers who are the puppeteers here. Even if turns out they acted out of greed (if wanting to be paid can be called greed), they’re still the ones whose lives and careers and reputations will be ruined at the end of all of this. We all complain about the treatment trainees and rookies from smaller companies go through, but it seems people forgot about it because these girls wanted a fair share for their work. Apparently their image and labor can be used against them, but they’re not allowed to even want to use it for their own livelihoods. I want you all to work your youth away without any formal education, without expecting payment, and while accumulating debt, and then you can fairly say these girls should expect the same treatment.

  2. Girl first of fucking all I never said they deserve to live in squalor.. fix ya comprehension before u type towards me, it's simple understanding persons actually SUFFERED and were treated like shit (something I've always been vocal about when it comes to these companies) whilst fifty fifty literally had to go through NONE of that. The issue here is 50/50 who were treated decently as ALL these artists should be ended up spitting in this man's face. How do u think that equates in the future for others? To the point koreans are begging this guy not to change because of how much SHIT ASS ceos they are who treat artists like barn animals? Okay. Number 2 fifty fifty is a newly debuted group if what they wanted was transparency as to the breakdown of costs for them (i.e. clothing, housing, food, English lessons, mv cost, production cost, song cost, etc..) alongside reference with how much their ONE song which hit it big (also thanks to the ceo who paid for ads on various social media platforms) that would be the fine... but the fact you're suing this guy over literally nothing, after all this guy done did call a spade a fucking spade. do u know how much fucking money a MUSIC VIDEO in kpop alone costs? Let alone choreography? SME is a shit company but keep in mind EXO who had hits didn't pay off their training fees, music video fees, choreography fees, etc.. till 2 or so years AND compare the popularity, endorsements, etc.. 12 members had to 50/50... girl.. I stand by what the fuck I said. Karma will get them. Gtfo my face. I feel alot of yall be smoking Crack. Right is right and wrong is wrong, company or individual.

  3. Girl I feel bad for this CEO and this is something I said prior to this girl speaking out... I'm sorry but whoever is in 50/50's ear.. are sneks and as soon as their 5 minutes of tiktok rise is over honey they're gonna see "bad treatment"... imagine a 13 member group at their start had to portion rice balls and live in a cramped ass apartment with their managers..meanwhile these girls each had their own room in a luxe apartment, never had to worry about food, etc... didn't he also sell his car and shit to pay for this comeback that these girls hit it big with...girl.. as we say in the islands "do for do no obeah", Karma gonna gather these girls swift. Give that man back his money PLUS what he is owed and gtfo his company for real... Best of luck to them in the future too...tuh.. wait till the reality of the music industry REALLY hits them.

  6. i am really surprised seeing comments here defending the members' actions. really after all that was revealed? they was treated like god compared to other groups including from big companies. And maybe that was the problem bc the fame quickly went to their heads after their 5 minutes of attention and was easily influenced instead of asking opinions of their sunbaes about what should they do do you guys think kpop companies are doing community service when they debut groups? no, this is a business and it's not cheap to create them i don't agree with slave contracts, "sponsorships" and many other shady things that happen in the industry but making a kpop group is not free. it takes a lot of time to pay your debts so either kpop industry get rid of the training system and they learn all by themselves like many jpop idols or they need to find another way to pay the members' debts Anyway, it's that so hard to believe that the members can be the ones that are wrong and if the ATTRAKT CEO did something bad at some point before he had create that group, it still dont change the fact the 50/50 is still in the wrong in this case? Tho i can say they are not the worse in the story. surely they was stupid and greedy but the evil ones are The Givers since they played both sides by trying to deceive them ATTRAKT CEO and Warner's need to sit down, settle an accord and they and members need to dish out the givers and trying to put them on jail maybe Fifty Fifty reputation is already too doomed to hit big but if they settle an accord between the 2 labels they still can continuing promoting. it would also help if the girls put their heads down and admit in a video that they were stupid, greedy and was bad adviced while asking for the ATTRAKT's ceo forgiveness unfortunately i dont think they will. their pride will not let them do it

  7. a lot of korean users are leaving comments in Lush mvs/music shows performance let's pray that one of their songs' charts and maybe the group will revived. i think the ATTRAKT' CEO deserves to see success i dont know what the members have been up to. maybe some already gave up on being idols/celebs, others could be in other group or even debuted as solo in other label but maybe if none is signed to another label or if they still want to be celebs that they could join together once more if one of their songs charted well. they have really nice vocals just like fifty fifty have. the ceo really have good eyes for talent but really bad resources unfortunately and that is why i am really mad that people just pay attention to what comes from the big companies and dont dare to search for nugu groups. sometimes they could surprise you i tend to listen the title tracks (and maybe b-sides if they release performance ver or dance practice) of almost all that makes a comeback/debut in kpop but usually some groups/solos tend to escape me like it was the case of this one.

  8. wow, its so pathetic how stans will rush to bat for CEOs of these companies that can set these arbitrary 'debts' to whatever they feel like so that they don't have to pay their employees (because that is what idols are, however you wanna spin it) a single cent while they're actively working and making money and opportunities for the damn company. best believe that if i was them and i saw the numbers cupid was doing, at the VERY LEAST i'd start asking questions about where the money is going wow, it's looking more and more like a proper smear campaign paid for with the money 50/50 made? that's a new level of dystopia right there. godspeed to the girls, and FAWK all those greedy corporate rats

  9. Saying they need to literally get exiled is so extreme, like ya'll are taking this too serious. Also, sorry its abnormal to support a CEO this much. We don't really know all he does behind closed doors. All we know are biased articles that paint him in a positive light. Be serious

  10. Ok, here it is in apples and oranges to make it easier for you. 1:I didn't say the CEO deserves what he is going through if the information we have is correct. I made it perfectly clear that the greater assholes here are The Givers. 2: You're saying 50/50 had it good, so they had no right to want to be paid, same damn difference. What makes you think employees have no right to transpaency form their bosses? Or the right to know how much money they're making off of their work? 3: I also said that we don't have all the information, so you're jumping the gun by putting them in the same place as the producer. It doesn't fucking matter how much producing shit costs. These idols are basically slaves for years, and as workers, they deserve wages from the get go. As simple as that. Kpop being an abusing industry and normalizing all the shit they do is no excuse. Looks like the one who needs better reading comprehension is you. Brown nose.

  11. I agree with this. While we don’t know all of the details, you could NEVER convince me to side with a CEO at any given time. I especially can’t considering the information I do know is that the CEO is a lot shadier than the likes Pann are sharing. Why didn’t they also talk about the artist that used to be with the company supporting Fifty Fifty? I understand why because it’s easier to put blame on the most to lose, but at least share the full truth.

  12. To be honest it really does look like a dandelion and it's pretty similar to the one he did on Hao's letter calling him a dandelion. It's pretty clear that Hanbin is very vocal about Hao, every content that we had so far he always compliments Hao and stare at him with proudness and love. ( let's talk about "soulmates, my other half, half of my soul in 4K). I wouldn't be shocked if it was really meant for Hao. Hao likes the attention that Hanbin gives him and let's be honest he loves the way Hanbin shows him off. Imo Hanbin can pass with this subtle love message as it can simply be read as a cute redrawing of his tattoo at first glance.

  21. Man I hope Stayc's Seeun keeps her nose as is. She's mentioned her "big" nose being her main complex, but I think it'd be a tragedy to mess with her face because she's already so beautiful. Nose jobs seem so much easier to mess up compared to eyelid surgeries.

  22. For me, the thing that looks really off is the jaw shave+ veneers or corner lip surgery +veneers. Like that just makes it look like they have too many teeth when they smile which really freaks me out. But other surgeries even of they’re bad are still tolerable.

  23. i think junhui and minghao are respectively the gayest and the straightest members of seventeen (the duality of china line lol) so it's weird to me that they're also one of the most popular ships. like just watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2ZCW9U4WBA the way jun is gushing about how sexy wonho is and what a great boyfriend he would be (i'm here for this ship) and then you have minghao vehemently denying any agreement i get that minghao might just dislike skinship in general but it's pretty extra of him to reject it so adamantly when it comes to jun... their relationship just seems extremely one sided to me. anyways have some more gay jun!! Click here to view the Tweet i wouldn't be surprised if him and his co-star had something going on, judging from these behind the scenes clips and this ↑ is why i kinda roll my eyes at how jun always gets the "bi" label in this thread for some reason it's something i have talked about before: masculine looking guys always get automatically labeled as bi here, even if they've never shown any interest in girls. i know a great deal of the posters here are bi girls and yall should really examine the way you might be either projecting or using wishful thinking when analyzing these men.

  24. Funny how it's only ever a mistranslation/misunderstanding/taken out of context when something (or someone) implies sth other than heterosexuality, homophobia at its finest tbh.

  25. Can we fuckin cool it with the idiot fans coming in here to "defend" people? Thinking someone might be attracted to the same gender isn't an insult because being attracted to the same gender isn't a negative in the first place. You guys have the overwhelming majority of the internet to yourselves to push your ridiculous straight-by-default narrative. Can you please knock it off and leave us the hell alone in our one space? Thanks.

  26. Soooooo we just got this blind item: "Blind Item #7 - AMA One of the biggest male groups in K-pop has two members who are closeted. Well, they could have more than two, but these two were trying to stay hidden in corners this weekend at a bar as they canoodled with their respective American boyfriends." oh man there were so many kpop boy groups at the AMAs HOW WILL WE EVER KNOW WHO THIS IS
