I agree, I’ve been in so many work environments where coworkers were seeing each other and these are supposed to be professional places. Where there is a will there’s a way and we don’t all think rationally when emotions and especially hormones are involved. Like previously stated most of these idols are in their late teens, early to mid 20s and as someone who’s there now I’m not shocked at all at the idea of idols not caring about the dating ban. We have gotten confirmation so many times of idols from different groups and companies being friends and having group chats. These are idols whose fans had no idea even knew or interacted with each other calling themselves close friends. When you take all that into account it’s not that hard to come to the conclusion that these idols regardless if they’re straight or queer or likely seeing each other. Aren’t more queer kids in pretty much any country more likely to gravitate towards the entertainment business? I’ve also heard a few times that it’s hard for these companies to find rappers because a lot of actual rappers don’t want to be idols. I’m pretty sure there’s still some stigma associated with being idols in Asia. And when we also take this into account it’s not that hard to imagine gay/queer idols seeing each other. Plus wasn’t Sunoo seen hanging out with boys from boys planet? Gay idols are going to find each other whether they’re in the same group or not.

Hello! I've been lurking around this forum for a little while and I decided I wanted to join the conversation! ^^ I'd like to talk about Jooyeon from Xdinary Heroes! I know he's already been talked about, but I haven't seen anyone mention his new content, so I thought I might as well! Xdinary Heroes have released a new song very recently titled 'Haircut' and Jooyeon seems to be mixing A4s during the chorus: 1:20 and 2:52 He sounds fairly relaxed which had me second guessing the note, but I do think it's an A4? He also mixed C5s, C#5s(?) and Bb4s(?) in their song titled 'Strawberry Cake', though... it is quite inconsistent. Here is one of his better attempts (I haven't seen anything that good from him until a very recent performance from a few days ago): 0:46, 2:05 and 3:12 He's straining a bit and there's tension but he doesn't sound terrible? Maybe he's a little shouty, but I honestly think he sounds quite good! (I think his second attempt is the best here, but he does shift his placement to his nose. He also gets messy towards the end of the song.) He's also been doing G4s and those seem quite consistent. Here's one of them: 1:05 (I love seeing how he consciously starts supporting there. Feels very satisfying ^^') I haven't seen him do many low notes, but the lowest one I've seen from him so far (that doesn't sound completely shallow) is a D3 I think (though I do think he doesn't support it. It seems his larynx is lowered and it does still sound a bit shallow): 0:12 and 0:17 A more recent video of him singing low notes is this one. I think the notes are E3s? 0:12 and 0:20. Might be where his support begins. Now about his upper register; I actually only have one reference, but I think he's supporting a D5 here maybe? 1:03 and 2:33 This is consistent so he knows he's got this ^^ This is all I've got for now! It seems his supported range might be E3-A4-D5, but I'm just guessing lol. His main issue seems to be that he tends to get quite pushy, which leads to inconsistencies in his performances. His chestier approach (which seems to be a stylistic choice) often throws off his entire mix, but I guess he does it because they're a rock band and need a big sound or something. He also tends to get nasal when mixing higher, or just... tends to be nasal in general, lol. What do you guys think? I'm not a professional so I might be completely wrong, but it sounds to me like he's got great potential ^^
